[SCREENBAR: POST-SUNDAY NIGHT VOLTAGE; SPARKS ARENA]
(The camera fades to show the backstage area of the Sparks Arena, more specifically, the office that Voltage Commissioner Captain Charisma resides in. The shot then goes inside to show the EAW Hall of Famer himself, who is seen on the phone with someone. Other than the chatter on the other line, the scene is quiet and he finds solace in that knowing the chaos that goes on during the show itself. Now that the show is over, that subsides and he can take a moment to himself. That doesn’t last much longer though as it’s broken by a knock on the door. He brings his phone down for a moment looking up, before beginning to speak.)
Captain Charisma: Sorry, we’ll talk about this another time…
(He hangs up the phone and places it in his pocket before tidying himself up and straightening up in his seat, then beginning to shout to the outside.)
Captain Charisma: COME IN!
(The shot goes over to the door opening, with the door revealing it to be none other than Theron Nikolas. Theron is seen entering the room, who is still in his ring gear just with a shirt over it and a towel around his neck, also putting his phone away as well. Captain Charisma smiles to greet him while Theron makes his way over toward him.)
Captain Charisma: Theron, to what do I owe the pleasure?
Theron Nikolas: I saw the card for next week was put out and just had to ask, if I recollect, it was announced that Samael would be booked for a match… why isn’t that so?
Captain Charisma: Well, that WAS the plan. It was actually because Dr. Doyle wanted Samael off for another week, I can’t really blame him, Wicked Games is a huge week, and saving his energy for the big match against yourself is smart if anything. You did a number on him the other week, not that it wasn’t warrant. But Dr. Doyle just feels like this is what’s best for his patient.
(To that, Theron can only shrug his shoulders, it doesn’t matter much to him.)
Captain Charisma: Nonetheless, I’m glad you’re here. I wanted to take the time to congratulate you on your victory against Charlie tonight. Beating not just the Hardcore Champion but the Number One Contender to the EAW World Championship as well is a huge feat, and I’m sure you’re just as happy with it as I am.
(Despite Captain Charisma’s compliments, Theron stays stonefaced, making it appear that he’s more concerned about something else than what happened tonight.)
Theron Nikolas: If this was the Theron Nikolas of old, I would’ve focused on that and naturally demanded something to come out of it. But right now, my only focus is on Wicked Games and making sure that Samael pays for what he did to Natasha.
(Captain Charisma raises his eyebrows in interest.)
Captain Charisma: Is that why you’re here?
Theron Nikolas: I think it would be in my best interest to go ahead and spin the wheel, so I can spend the rest of my time preparing for what Wicked Games has in store for me.
Captain Charisma: By all means, right this way.
(Captain Charisma and Theron walk over to where the Wicked Games Roulette wheel is, and Theron doesn’t waste much time spinning the wheel. The silence is deafening and the anticipation builds before the spin slows down and the wheel lands on…)
Captain Charisma: Well that’s something, your match is a Straightjacket Match!
(In response to the stipulation being made official, Theron can only smirk.)
Theron Nikolas: That seems like a good stipulation for someone like Samael, I’ll be happy to beat him on his own grounds.
Captain Charisma: Well if that’s all, I wish you well; good luck with the match.
(Theron turns around and takes his leave out of Captain Charisma’s office, as it’s the last shot seen before the camera from there begins to fade completely to black.)
(Fight Grid logo buzzes.)
