BREAKING NEWS: The Prescription Play Wicked Games Roulette!

(Fight Grid intro plays.)

[SCREENBAR: POST-SUNDAY NIGHT VOLTAGE; SPARKS ARENA]

(Once again the camera fades to the Sparks Arena, the location of last week’s Voltage, more specifically in the backstage area. When the camera fades in the first image shown is the Unified Tag Team Champions Sheridan Müller and Dr. Bethany Blue walking through the hallway. The two are walking towards Captain Charisma’s office and neither of them look happy, likely because of the announcement that happened earlier in the night, where Ronan Malosi and Eden Sinclair revealed that they’d be facing each other at Wicked Games. When they get to Captain Charisma’s office, the door opens as Theron Nikolas walks out, having found out the stipulation for his match against Samael just moments earlier. As Theron leaves, Dr. Bethany Blue grabs the door and the Unified Tag Team Champions enter the office, where Captain Charisma is seen along with the Wicked Games Roulette wheel.)

Captain Charisma: I wasn’t expecting to see you two here already. Are you here to spin the wheel?

Dr. Bethany Blue: No, we’re here to find out why Ronan Malosi was allowed to pit us against each other. We all know Ronan of all people wouldn’t actually make a match like that just because we’re talented wrestlers, are you seriously going to let him get away with that? You have the power to cancel the match.

Sheridan Müller: I’d have no problem with the match in any other case, but it’s frustrating having to spend Wicked Games facing my own partner instead of defending the Unified Tag Team Championships. We already had no challengers heading into Territorial Invasion and it’d be wrong to even call our previous challengers a team.

(Captain Charisma is silent for a few seconds as he understands why the two are upset about the situation, but before long he begins to speak.)

Captain Charisma: I see that you two aren’t fans of having to face each other instead of defending the Unified Tag Team Championships, and I get that. However, I don’t actually think that this is as bad as you two make it seem.

Dr. Bethany Blue: What?

Sheridan Müller: I don’t think I understand. After all of the time you spent denying Ronan the chance to become Voltage commissioner in the first place, I thought you’d be against what happened tonight.

Dr. Bethany Blue: Yeah, so did I. Ronan Malosi was given power and abused it as soon as possible, just like you thought he would. Why aren’t you stopping this?

Captain Charisma: Look, you’re not wrong about Ronan’s intentions. I know just as well as you two that Ronan made that match for the sole purpose of trying to drive a wedge between the two of you, but as much as I hate to admit it, he and Eden did make a marquee match. The match may have been made for selfish reasons, but the last time the two of you faced each other an instant classic and future Tag Team Champions came out of it. There’d be no good reason for me to pass up on a match like that. Besides, what better way to stick it to Ronan and Eden than by sticking together and having a match for the ages?

(Dr. Bethany Blue and Sheridan Müller remain silent as they think about what Captain Charisma had to say. While still not being a fan of the match being made by Ronan the way it was, they can agree that sticking together no matter the result would be the perfect way to get back at him and Eden Sinclair.)

Captain Charisma: Since we’re here, would you two like to spin the wheel?

(The Unified Tag Team Champions look at each other for a second, before turning to the wheel and walking up to it. Finally, Sheridan Müller spins the wheel. They wait for a few seconds, before finally the wheel stops on its stipulation. Both members of the Prescription look surprised as Sheridan reads the stipulation.)

Sheridan Müller: A 30 Minute Ironwoman match. That’s not the worst choice.

Captain Charisma: :oh: Wow, that’s great! Your last match was already amazing, and now you two have thirty minutes to bring your best!

Dr. Bethany Blue: If we really have to face each other, at least it’s in an actual wrestling match.

Captain Charisma: Trust me, you two are going to do great. Nothing has gotten in the way of your partnership in the past and I’m sure this won’t, either. If anything, this match is just going to show everyone just how incredible you two are.

(Dr. Bethany Blue and Sheridan Müller just nod at Captain Charisma, and while they’re still not entirely happy about this match happening, they begin to walk out of his office as the camera begins to fade to black.)
