(The camera opens up, circling around EAW Headquarters which is located in Newark, New Jersey. After a few seconds, the shot fades inside of the building, where Molly Waters is seen. She is holding a microphone in her hand and she hasna smile on her face. After a few seconds she begins to speak.)
Molly Waters: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Fight Grid, your source for news all throughout the Land of Elite! As always I am Molly Waters, and today we have even more breaking news regarding Fighting Spirit! So far I’ve had the opportunity to share a few things regarding the upcoming event, including multiple match confirmations and the stipulation for one of those matches. Today however, our news is about one of the already confirmed matches, as Voltage Commissioner Captain Charisma appears to have more names he plans to announce for the upcoming Ultimate Opportunity match! This is turning out to be a really exciting match, and lucky for us, he plans to announce those names right now! Captain Charisma, the floor is yours!
(The camera fades to the office of Captain Charisma, the Commissioner of Sunday Night Voltage. Captain Charisma has a smile on his face, and before long he begins to speak.)
Captain Charisma: Thanks, Molly. I know everyone is looking forward to seeing the complete lineup for this Ultimate Opportunity match, and I don’t blame any of you! On Voltage I announced Miku Sakai, Mercer McKay, Daryl Kinkade, and Ronan Malosi. Sheridan Müller would also make a statement and reveal that she wants in on this match, something that I’m glad to hear! Sheridan is a fantastic competitor, and there’s no doubt that she will do great in this match. Of course, I promised to announce more participants, so it’s time for me to live up to that. The two Elitists I’ll be announcing are the final two Elitists competing in the match, meaning that after tonight we will know the full list of competitors competing in the Ultimate Opportunity match for a shot at entering the Cash in the Vault ladder match!
(Captain Charisma causes for a moment, building suspense before beginning to speak once more.)
Captain Charisma: The first participant is an Elitist that returned to EAW this year. He has experience with this company and has competed in high profile matches both before and after his return to EAW at the start of the year, even as recently as this year’s Grand Rampage match. He has shown potential time and time again, and I’m sure if there’s anything he’d want right now, it’s the opportunity to prove himself once again. An Elitist like this will without a doubt show out at Fighting Spirit, and should he be one of the Elitists to make it to Pain for Pride, his usage of high-flying maneuvers could be what wins him the Cash in the Vault briefcase, giving him the opportunity to potentially win his very first Championship in EAW! Our first of the remaining two participants is none other than Korey Gaines!
(Captain Charisma stops speaking for a few seconds, allowing the announcement to set in before continuing.)
Captain Charisma: As for the second and final participant in the match, she is actually someone newer to the EAW roster, only debuting with this company last season. Even so she has undoubtedly made an impact and she is continuing to establish herself as a threat on the Voltage roster. She started off the season competing in Specialists Championship matches and proving just how bright of a future she has, and as of late she has joined forces with two women also on this brand to form a stable that could very well be competing for Championship gold soon. She has already proven that she is someone to watch out for, and she could very well be one of the two Elitists leaving this match with a spot in the Cash in the Vault ladder match. The final participant in the Ultimate Opportunity match… Halsey Neel!
(Once again Captain Charisma pauses, allowing those watching to think about the information they’ve been given.)
