BREAKING NEWS: EAW Board of Directors review Dr. Bethany Blue’s demands regarding Kassidy Heart and reach a decision.

(Fight Grid intro plays.)

(The camera opens up, revealing a shot of EAW Headquarters which is located in Newark, New Jersey. The camera pans around the building for a few seconds, before the shot fades to the inside of the building, where Molly Waters is seen in front of the camera. She is holding a microphone in her hand and as always she has a smile on her face. After a few seconds she begins to speak.)

Molly Waters: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Fight Grid, your source for news all throughout the Land of Elite! As always I am Molly Waters, and today we have some breaking news regarding footage that was shared earlier in the week. Last time on Fight Grid we got to see Dr. Bethany Blue as she made some comments following a very brutal assault from her Pain for Pride opponent Kassidy Heart following Voltage’s Beach Brawl. The Universal Women’s Champion of course did not take too kindly to what happened that night, and made a very big demand to the Voltage commissioner, Captain Charisma. The demand was that Kassidy Heart would need psychiatric evaluation before being allowed to come anywhere near the Champion, and today I have the answer to just how things went regarding her demand.

Molly Waters: Yesterday the board of directors held an emergency meeting to review Dr. Bethany Blue’s request, and during this meeting they chose to hold a vote to determine whether or not Kassidy would need evaluation. I’ve had the opportunity to learn the results of that vote, and it turns out that it was a resounding yes! Nearly every single person voted “yes”, with the only exception being EAW Chairman Ryan Adams who voted “no”. Of course despite chairman’s vote, it looks like the majority has agreed to meet Bethany’s demands. An appeal would be filed following this, but as of today the board’s original decision to uphold the “yes” verdict stands. This decision will certainly leave an impact, as Kassidy Heart now has to make a very big decision for the sake of her wrestling career. In order for her to enter the ring again, she has to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.

Molly Waters: Of course, this means that it’s not only her Universal Women’s Championship match at Pain for Pride that’s now on the line. While originally scheduled to compete against the National Elite Champion Veena Adams on Super Showdown’s A-Day, there’s a chance that this match is now also being put in jeopardy, along with any other matches she potentially may have had for the foreseeable future. Kassidy Heart may have gotten the better of Dr. Bethany Blue this past Sunday, but thanks to those actions there’s now no telling whether or not she will be able to fight for the Universal Women’s Championship at all. In time we will see what Kassidy does and whether or not she successfully undergoes the psychiatric evaluation, but until then that’s all for today. Thank you all for joining us, as always I am Molly Waters, signing out.

(Molly Waters smiles at the camera one more time, and after a few seconds the camera begins to fade out to one more shot of EAW Headquarters. The camera pans around the building one last time, and after this the camera begins fading to black completely.)
