( EAW Intro plays )
( “Welcome To The Party” by Diplo starts up along with Battleground’s intro video starts playing. Then the camera shows an outside view of the Prudential Center in Newark as the lights play around and the fans screaming can be heard. )
Ruggerio: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to EAW Battleground, where the hottest talent action of EAW is displayed every monday night! My name is Clark Ruggerio and I’m joined by my partner, Ben Knight.
Knight: Tonight it’s going to be a exciting as we have two brand new talents making their debut here in EAW, but we’ve also got Jack Haze facing Caden Walker, a match we expect greatness from.
Ruggerio: Not only that but we have also a thrilling main event in arguably the face of Battleground right now, Johnny Walker vs one of the best from Empire, Harlow Reichert.
Knight: However it seems like somebody has something to say first.
( ‘Back from the dead’ by Skillet plays through the speakers as Eric Crane comes out on the stage making his way to the ring dressed in his usual ring attire. He enters the ring and gets handed a microphone. )
Crane: Here we are, back again, still here, no progress made so far. I came here with big expectations. I thought I was going to make a huge impact and become the face of Battleground, quickly going back to the main roster. But no, I was mistaken. I became obsessed after Xavier. I was angry about him getting a win over me. I was upset. And I still am. I can’t stand him getting the three points while I’m still standing here, frozen without any points. What makes me upset is the fact that I believe I am better than Xavier. I do. But I failed to prove it. And for that, I decided it would be good if I made an…
( Crane takes a deep breath as he puts his hand on his forehead. )
Crane: I, I would like to make an…
( Then he raises his head up and a diabolic grin can be seen on his face. )
Crane: Did you really think I was going to make an apology to you people? No way in the blue hell! You don’t deserve an apology, I deserve an apology, from you. I put my health in risk just to entertain you people, but you don’t appreciate it at all. However losing to Xavier Arnold won’t make me stop. You ignoring me won’t make me stop. The darkness will rise and I’ll prove my worth. This is why for next week, I’m challenging Remi Skyfire in a match! Yes, you heard it right. I’m not crazy, I believe in my abilities, so Remi, I expect you to show up next week or else I’m coming for you!
( Crane drops the mic and waits on the corner of the ring for Osiris to come out. )
( DING! DING! DING! )
Maria Del Rey: The opening match of the evening is scheduled for ONE FALL!
( ‘I Fall Apart’ by Post Malone plays as Osiris makes his way out from beyond the curtain. He’s already sneering at the crowd who gives him a negative reaction for it. )
Maria Del Rey: Introducing first…From Athens, Ohio….he weighs in at 195lbs…he’s The King of Critical Style….OSIRIS!!!
Ruggiero: Well he’s known as the King of Critical Style, whatever that means. But he’s trying to pick up some momentum after stumbling last week on Battleground. If he can win here tonight, it will certainly put him back on the right track!
Knight: That’s what Battleground is all about! Trying to find a good rhythm, find out what works what doesn’t! It may take longer for some than others, but if you keep on applying yourself you’ll certainly have a chance to go places!
Maria Del Rey: And introducing his opponent…he hails from Long Island, New York…he weighs in at 213lbs…He’s ‘The Possessed’….ERIC!!! CRANE!!!
Ruggiero: And then we have Eric Crane! A man that has made good strides since signing with the company. His time on Battleground has been most helpful in his progression, and he looks to go further, and it continues tonight if he can pick up the win!
Knight: Indeed. He’s got a lot of potential that’s untapped, but that’s why Battleground has come back! It’s to help young stars develop and grow under a system that prepares you for when the time comes to put all that extra work and training to good use!
The referee signals for the bell to begin the match.
(DING! DING! DING!)
Ruggiero: Both of these men are ready to go! It’s clear already that both of these men would like nothing more than to rip into the other, and there’s always room at the county morgue for another body I’ll say that right now! Crane can be a violent individual and Osiris is also known to have penchant for building his own blood pacts through the misery of his downed opponents! And after circling the ring a couple times round these two move in for a tie up! Osiris with a headlock which is easily countered into a back suplex by Eric Crane! Elbow drop by Crane to Osiris! And another elbow drop! Crane grabs up Osiris and whips him to the corner and follows up with a back elbow to Osiris! And now a shoulder block to the cornered Osiris! And another! And another! European uppercut by Crane! Front facelock suplex now by Crane and into a cover!
ONE!
TWO!
Knight: Osiris kicks out! Osiris not going down so easily! But Crane not letting up as he grabs up Osiris and whips him to the ropes! Osiris looking for Access Denied! The discus lariat! But Crane ducks the attack! SLINGBLADE! What a move! Osiris rolls to the outside and waves off, looks like he’s done! Hang on, though, Crane is having none of that! He follows Osiris to the outside and the two begin brawling. The referee begins his count!
ONE!
Osiris hits Crane with a stiff chop to the chest, causing Eric to stumble against the barricade!
TWO!
Eric comes firing back with a forearm shot, then another! Osiris is staggered!
THREE!
Crane has Osiris and is trying to pull him into the ring, Osiris counters, though, and rams Eric headfirst into the ringpost!
FOUR!
Osiris has evil in his eye! SUPERKICK! Eric Managed to just move out of the way, though, and Osiris collapses to the mat in pain, clutching his knee.
FIVE!
Eric is trying to lift Osiris and get him into the ring!
SIX!
Crane is basically lifting dead weight, he can’t get the larger man up!
SEVEN!
Osiris jabs his thumb into the eye of Eric and makes a dive for the ring!
EIGHT!
Crane catches his foot, though, and pulls Osiris back!
NINE!
CROSSRHODES! Crane has leveled Osiris!
TEN!
(DING! DING! DING!)
The referee is calling the match a double-count out! Eric didn’t make it back to the ring in time!
Maria Del Rey: Ladies and gentlemen, the official has determined this match to end in a double count out!
Ruggiero: A double-countout means no points are awarded to either competitor! This was an unfortunate turn of events!
Knight: Indeed, Clark! Crane seemed dominant, but just couldn’t get Osiris back into the ring, the larger man wanted nothing to do with Eric, and made it all but impossible for the match to return to the ring!
Ruggiero: Now let’s take a special look at one of our newest signees, Kavia Santos!
(Cut to a short hype video for Kaiva Santos showing some of her best matches and performances.)
( Commercial break. )
( DING! DING! DING! )
Del Rey: The following contest is a triple threat match!
( ‘The Entertainer’ by Scott Joplin starts playing as Miles Thatcher makes his way to the ring. )
Del Rey: Introducing first, from Bristol, UK, weighing in at 240 pounds, MILEEEEESSS THATCHEEEEEEER!
Knight: We’ve seen unusual characters in EAW before, but this is a Payton Darkstar level of strangeness. A guy who believes to have end up in the future, being one of the most promising wrestlers from 1926. Let’s see if a 1926 talent can keep up with a 2018 talent.
( ‘The final countdown’ by Europe blasts through the speakers as Xavier Arnold comes out on the stage getting boo’s from the crowd. )
Del Rey: Introducing next, from Cologne, Germany, weighing in at 219 pounds, XAVIEEEER ARNOLDDDD!
Ruggerio: Xavier got an important victory agaisnt Eric Crane in a ladder match earning himself 5 precious points. He is currently sitting on top of our table with 8 points, let’s see if he can make it 11.
( “Just Close Your Eyes V1” by Waterproof Blonde blasts through the speakers as Kenji Masato makes his entrance. )
Del Rey: And introducing last, from Kyoto, Japan, weighing in at 229 pounds, KEEEENJIIIIII MAAAASAAAATOOOOOOO!
Knight: A rising star from Japan, Kenji Masato is out here trying to make a name for himself. He has a tough challenge ahead of him, let’s see if he will be able to handle it.
( DING! DING! DING! )
Ruggerio: The match is underway as Kenji Masato makes the first step delivering kicks to the legs of Xavier, but Xavier makes a few steps back, avoiding the hard strikes from Kenji. However Miles from behind going for a german suplex, but Masato blocks it with a few elbow shots to the side of the head of Miles. Xavier gets involved and connects with a big right hand on Kenji, BUT MILES CONNECTS TOO WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX ON ARNOLD!
Knight: Miles locks the armbar on Masato, trying to inflict as much damage as possible on Masato’s arm. Masato rolls left and right trying to break the submission, but Miles displaying his submission skills not letting the hold go. BUT XAVIER ARNOLD FROM BEHIND WITH A CLOTHESLINE TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD! BOTH KENJI AND MILES GO DOWN AS XAVIER DROPS A KNEE RIGHT ON THE HAND OF MASATO, THE SAME ARM MILES HAD THE ARMBAR LOCKED IN!
Ruggerio: Smart move by Arnold as he gets Thatcher up and irish whips him to the corner CONNECTING WITH A CHOP RIGHT ON THE CHEST OF MILES! RUNNING KNEE STRIKE TO MASATO AS XAVIER BOUNCES OF THE ROPES AND CONNECTS WITH A FLYING CLOTHESLINE ON MILES THATCHER! THATCHER DROPS ON THE FLOOR AS KENJI IS UP ON HIS FEET. XAVIER GOES FOR A SUPERKICK, BUT KENJI DUCKS AND GETS XAVIER UP… EXPLODER SUPLEX!
Knight: Masato is back in this match as he heads to the corner where Miles is recovering, and now Masato begins the face wash with his foot. Miles is struggling to breathe, but Kenji seems to enjoy it. HOWEVER FROM BEHIND XAVIER ARNOLD WITH THE ROLL-UP, NO, MASATO ROLLS XAVIER UP!
Ref: ONE! TW-
Ruggerio: Kickout by Arnold! Great ring awareness by Masato, HOWEVER MILES THATCHER WITH A RUNNING KNEE STRIKE KNOCKING MASATO OUT COLD! KICK TO THE GUTS ON XAVIER WHO FALLS ON HIS KNEE’S, KICK TO THE CHEST OF XAVIER WHO NOW FALLS ON THE FLOOR AND THIS IS AN OPENING FROM MILES. HE CLIMBS THE TOP ROPE CONNECTING WITH A MOONSAULT ON KENJI!
Knight: OH NO! KENJI GOT HIS KNEE’S UP! XAVIER IS ON HIS FEET AS KENJI CHARGES TO THE ROPES… SLINGBLADE! XAVIER IS DOWN AND KENJI IS FIRED UP! HE CONNECTS WITH A KNEE STRIKE TO THE CORNERED MILES THATCHER AND A KNEE DROP ON XAVIER! KENJI GRABS MILES AND CONNECTS WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX, THEN KENJI CLIMBS THE TOP ROPE! KATSURA WAVE! THE ELBOW DROP CONNECTS, THIS MIGHT BE OVER!
Ruggerio: KENJI GOES FOR THE COVER, BUT FROM BEHIND XAVIER ARNOLD WITH THE ROLL-UP, XAVIER HAS HIS FEET ON THE ROPES! REF, DO SOMETHING!
Ref: ONE!! TWOOO!! THREEEEE!!!
( DING! DING! DING! )
Ruggerio: Oh, come on now!
Del Rey: Here is your winner, XAVIEEEEER ARNOLDDDDD!
( ‘The final countdown’ by Europe plays again as Xavier gets his hand raised up by the referee. )
Knight: Xavier Arnold stole this one the right way and the ref saw nothing! Clean cheat by Xav right there.
Ruggerio: If he didn’t cheat, I bet Miles or Kenji would’ve won this. Sad how they got stolen on their first match here on Battleground, however Xavier is now with 11 points and with one foot on the main roster!
( Advertisement: Showdown: NO REGARDS, live, October 27th. )
( The camera fades backstage where Harlow Reichert is shown getting ready for her match against Johnny Walker, as Johnny enters the lockeroom. )
Johnny: Heya! How’s it going?
Harlow: Hey, fellow. I’m good thanks, how are you?
Johnny: Me? I’m ready. And excited. I couldn’t wait for this match to happen. I’ve learned so much from you that I think this match is going to be my most important match here yet.
Harlow: I’m glad you think so. But don’t expect me to go easy on you. You asked for this, you got it. I hope you’re ready.
Johnny: Bet. I don’t make challenges just for fun. I’m more than ready for it. Watch it when I beat you and get my 5 points.
Harlow: You think so? Don’t forget for the match to happen, you have to let me get ready for it first.
Johnny: Yeah, you’re right, sorry. I’ll see you in the ring then.
Harlow: Alright, see ya.
( Camera fades to black. )
( The camera shows a pan view of the arena as the bell rings. )
( DING! DING! DING! )
Maria Del Rey: The following contest is set for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
Maria Del Rey: Introducing first, weighing in at two hundred and eleven pounds, from Santa Monica, California, “The California Dream” Jack Haze!
(“Revolution” by the Beatles play as Jack Haze makes his way to the ring.)
Clark Ruggiero: Jack was absolutely dominant last week against Ana Somnia, and it looking to continue that this week against Caden Walker. Ben, what does Jack need to do to make sure he’s victorious against Walker?
Ben Knight: Well, he knows what he’s doing, for certain, like you said, he was dominant last week. I would say more of the same this week.
Maria Del Rey: Introducing his opponent, weighing in at two hundred and thirty pounds, from Auckland New Zealand, “Chaos” Caden Walker!
(“It had to be this Way” by Jamie Christopherson plays as Caden Walker makes his way to the ring.)
Ben Knight: After his debut last week Caden is looking to make up some lost ground, Clark, we’ll see if he’s able to bring his particular brand of “chaos” to the Battleground ring.
Clark Ruggiero: He’s coming into this match with a chip on his shoulder for sure, Ben, this could be a very interesting matchup.
(The referee calls for the bell, starting the match.)
DING!DING!DING!
Clark Ruggiero: That’s the bell and these two are are already going at it! Caden practically jumping over the ring official to get to Jack who seemed unready for such a quick attack! Ben, is this a smart strategy?
Ben: It is, yeah, Jack has proven himself a very powerful man, but cutting that off early is a good way to ensure that the Journeyman never gets rolling. Caden is throwing an absolute barrage of strikes, including elbows and and knees, at Jack Haze, and is dictating the pace of this match! He pushes Haze back into the corner, but does not relent the onslaught, as he climbs to the middle turnbuckle and begins hammering the forehead of Jack!
Clark Ruggiero: Rather than the traditional count to ten pummeling that is delivered, Caden is continuing the assault from every angle that put Jack in the corner in the first place! COUNTER BY JACK HAZE! By delivering a hard open hand chop to the chest of Caden, he manages to break free from the corner and rolls to the outside to gather his wits! Caden hits the far ropes…big baseball slide, but Jack saw it coming and moved in time for Caden to slide onto his feet harmlessly. He’s met with a forearm smash from Haze, though, and immediately rolled back into the ring, Jack Haze.
Ben Knight: NO! Haze waits on the apron for Chaos to stand…slingshot spear! Caden is on the mat after that, and Jack looks for the early win…
ONE!
TWO!
KICKOUT!
Caden isn’t finished yet! He’s in a bit of trouble here, though, despite an early advantage, Jack Haze has now taken control of this match and looks to be in position to begin putting it away!
Clark Ruggiero: I wouldn’t speak so fast, Ben, Caden comes firing back with shots to the midsection of Jack, looking to build momentum, Caden pushes Haze to the ropes…DISCUS LARIAT! That move flattened Jack, but Caden isn’t done, he pulls Jack to his feet and hits the ropes himself…Jack comes to his senses, though, and ducks a flying shoulder tackle! He goes to pull Caden to his feet…SMALL PACKAGE FROM CADEN!
ONE!!!
TWO!!!
KICK OUT FROM HAZE!
Ben Knight: Caden has done really well during this match of off setting Jack’s strategy, Haze hasn’t really been able to get anything going tonight, due to the chaotic style that Caden is bringing at him. Caden makes his way to his feet and catches Jack Haze in a headlock, he’s got it locked in deep! Jack, though, hooks his arm around the waist of Walker and delivers a big back body drop, landing Caden on his neck. Jack slaps the mat, trying to get the crowd fired up, and grabs Caden’s legs, trying to lock in a Boston Crab! Caden is fighting, but Jack is able to turn and sits on the lower back of Caden as the referee checks Walker for a submission…Caden refuses, however, and is dragging himself to the nearby rope, inch by inch, Jack is struggling to stop him, but Caden is a bit heavier and is dragging Haze along…ROPE BREAK! Jack releases the hold as the referee calls for the break! Clark, Jack was obviously trying to stall out Walker’s momentum there a bit, and the grimace on Caden’s face seems to indicate it was at least somewhat effective!
Clark Ruggiero: That’s right, Ben, Jack is pulling Caden to his feet, LOW BLOW! Caden took the cheap route to drop Haze to the mat, unfortunately the referee was out of position and did not see the illegal maneuver, and now Caden is in firm control as he pulls Jack to his feet and launches him towards the ropes…HE CATCHES HIM IN A GORDBUSTER ONTO HIS KNEE! Jack Haze is in very serious trouble here, and Caden pulls him to his feet yet again…STORMRAIDER! Caden Walker hit the Double Underhook Canadian Backbreaker Rack transitioned into a modified Corkscrew Neckbreaker! Jack is out! Caden goes for the pin!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
DING!DING!DING!
Maria Del Rey: Here is your winner, by pinfall, Chaos CAAAAAAAADDDDDDDEEEEEEENNNNNNN WAAAALLLLLLLLLLLKKKKKKKKEEEEEERR!
(“It had to be this Way” by Jamie Christopherson plays as Caden Walker makes his way back up the ramp in victory, ignoring the jeering fans.)
( Commercial Break: Wicked Games: presented by Voltage and friends. Don’t miss Prince of Phenomenal go one on one with Captain Charisma and more. )
(Maria Del Rey is standing in the center of the ring ready to call the next match.)
Maria Del Rey: The following contest is set for one fall! Introducing first, from Berea Kentucky, weighing in at two hundred and twenty pounds, The Gentleman Bastard, Johnny Walker!
(“Don’t Stop Believin” by Journey plays as Johnny Walker makes his way to the ring.)
Clark Ruggiero: Johnny Walker has had an impressive streak the last couple weeks, winning two triple threat matches against formidable competition. Tonight, though, he faces his biggest challenge yet in Harlow Reichert. How will the Gentleman Bastard fare against Ms. No Fucks Given, Ben?
Ben Knight: Well, he’s going to have to be on top of his game, Clark, HArlow has wrestled champions and former champions, and is one of the most naturally gifted wrestlers on the roster. As I understand it, this is more of a friendly challenge than it is any kind of blood feud, the two even making jokes about Johnny’s hair in their back and forth. Five points, for Mr. Walker, though, is serious business, so he’ll need to have his head on straight tonight!
Maria Del Rey: Introducing his opponent, from Christchurch, New Zealand, Ms. No Fucks Given, Harlow Reichert!
(“All-Star” by Smash Mouth plays as Harlow walks out on the ramp and down to the ring.)
Clark Ruggiero: Harlow recently earned a shot at the Specialists Championship, adding yet another argument as to why she’s a key piece of the future here at EAW. Tonight she looks determined, if a little amused at the prospect of facing Johnny Walker. Ben, what are her keys to victory here tonight?
Ben Knight: Well, like I said, the former rugby player is naturally gifted when it comes to professional wrestling. She also has an experience edge over Johnny. She needs to exploit that, and keep Johnny off his element. Normally I would say that the size advantage Johnny has would be in his favor, but Harlow may be able to offset that with just pure ability. That’s not to say he doesn’t have any chance, though, Johnny has proven that he’s capable of pulling out the win when we least expect it. This is absolutely an interesting match up!
(The referee checks both competitors then calls for the bell, starting the match.)
DING!DING!DING!
Clark Ruggiero: Here we go, before starting Johnny stops and extends his hand, look at that sportsmanship in action Ben! Harlow eyes him for a second then shrugs and returns the handshake…LOOK AT THAT! Harlow reached up and messed with Johnny’s hair! Walker bats her hand away and falls back to his corner, trying to fix his hair before ultimately giving up and stomping his foot in frustration. Ben, these two seem to be having fun out there!
Ben Knight: They are and there’s nothing wrong with that, Clark, not every match has to be a life or death contest with dire consequences on the line. Harlow and Johnny respect each other and just want to see who is better tonight. Seems as if Johnny has gotten his composure now, though and he moves forward…collar and elbow tie up from Johnny…Harlow slips behind, though…GERMAN SUPLEX! Johnny Walker was planted after that, and Harlow catches him in a front facelock, grounding taking away Walker’s size advantage! Clark, Johnny is in a predicament here!
Clark Ruggiero: He is, Ben, looks like he’s trying to make his way to the ropes…NO! Just before he reaches the ropes, Harlow shifts her weight, switching the move to a rear chin lock! Johnny is inches away from the ropes now! Harlow pulls back on the chin lock, causing Walker’s back to arch…HE MAKES THE ROPES! Clean break from Harlow as Johnny grabs the ropes for dear life, finally pulling himself to his feet. Johnny needs to get back in the game here, Harlow is starting to build a ton of momentum! Reichert shoots in for a double leg takedown, but Johnny catches her in a headlock…Harlow is trying to work her way out…RAPID FIRE PUNCHES TO THE JAW OF HARLOW! Johnny is unloading on her!
Ben Knight: Harlow throws Johnny to the ropes…THEZ PRESS! Johnny is making a comeback here, let’s see what he can do with the veteran Harlow…Johnny pulls her to her feet, but Harlow trips him, taking him down, and grabs Johnny’s legs, looking for a submission…NO! Johnny powers out! He is scrambling away from Harlow, and makes his way to his feet, before running at Reichert! Forearm shot! Johnny rocks Harlow and hooks her for a snap suplex! He pulls her back to her feet, more careful this time, and picks Harlow up…fall away slam! Harlow is starting to show signs of being in trouble here, Clark, could be she’s still recovering from her match with Tyler at Empire!
Clark Ruggiero: Could be! That was an absolute barn burner of a match, so it wouldn’t surprise me if she was still reeling a bit! Johnny is waiting for Harlow to stand…dropkick puts her back on the mat! Looks like he is gaining confidence, as Walker climbs to the middle turnbuckle…LEGDROP! NO! Harlow just manages to get out of the way, and Johnny comes crashing to the mat! Harlow drags Johnny to the corner and pulls him to his feet…rapid fire european uppercuts! Ms. No Fucks Given is returning the favor from Johnny earlier, peppering him with shots of her own! Ben, it seems like that no matter what Johnny does, Harlow is able to cut him off!
Ben Knight: Well, that’s Harlow’s experience showing through! Johnny asked for this match so he could learn as a wrestler, and Harlow Reichert is putting on a clinic right now! She pulls him out of the corner..FLUTTERBY DRIVER PILE! Harlow hit the butterfly Piledriver on Johnny! She hooks the leg, hoping for the quick pin…
ONE!
TWO!
THRE-NO!
Johnny just manages to get his shoulder up before the referee counts three. Harlow’s face is a mixture of frustration and respect as she pulls Johnny to his feet, but Johnny starts fighting back, first stomping the foot, then delivering a forearm to the midsection of Harlow. Putting his opponent off balance, Johnny slips behind Harlow…GERMAN SUPLEX! Harlow rolls to the apron and pulls herself to her feet…KOBAYASHI MARU! Johnny hits the suicide spear, sending both himself and Harlow to the outside of the ring! The ring official leans through the ropes to check on both competitors, Clark, that was a ballsy move if a bit foolish from Johnny.
Clark Ruggiero: It was, but sometimes desperate times call for desperate measures! Harlow was putting a halt to any momentum Johnny could build, so maybe he saw this as his chance to even things up. The official is satisfied that both competitors are able to continue and starts their count…
ONE!
Johnny staggers to his feet, and notices Harlow, curled fetal, still on the mat. He goes to pull her to her feet.
TWO!
Pulling Reichert to her feet, Johnny rolls her into the ring before sliding in himself. He makes the cover, looking to finish the match!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
NO!
Harlow kicks out right at three! Johnny is beside himself! It looked like he had the match wrapped up there, but Harlow is still in it! As she is trying to push herself to her feet, Johnny grabs her heels and flips forward, creating a bridging pin! The official gets into position…
ONE!
TWO!
Harlow is out!
She manages to twist from beneath Johnny, breaking the pin. Ben, what does Johnny have to do to finish Harlow?
Ben Knight: Well, he’s doing a pretty good job, but he can’t get frustrated. He needs to stay on the attack, wear Harlow out with his weight advantage. Unfortunately he probably doesn’t have the experience to start chain wrestling her, but that would be very effective in this situation at wearing her down. If I were Johnny I’d stop pulling her up too, make her use her own energy for that. It might seem like a small thing, but small things add up to big things. Harlow is still on the mat as Johnny again goes to the turnbuckle. He needs to be very careful here, he nearly lost last time…MOONSHOT! Johnny goes for the frog splash and lands it! NO! HARLOW’S KNEES WERE UP! She saw the move coming and laid the trap for Johnny! Walker is coughing on the mat now as Harlow returns to her feet! Clark, I think Johnny is in real trouble here!
Clark Ruggiero: No doubt, and it’s about to get worse…LMFAO! Harlow hits the brainbuster on Johnny that lands on her knee! Johnny Walker is not moving! This time Reichert is climbing the rope, perhaps looking to show Johnny how it’s done! WLEP LET’S SEE HOW THIS GOES!!! The Corkscrew Shooting Star press is a thing of beauty as Harlow lands on the prone Johnny Walker! SHe hooks the leg as the referee gets into position!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
DING!DING!DING!
Maria Del Rey: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner by pinfall…HAAAAAAARRRRRRLLLLLOOOOOOWWWWWWW REEEEEIIIIICCCCHHHHHEEEERRRRT!
(“All-Star” by Smash Mouth starts playing as Harlow rolls off Johnny and raises to her feet, arms raised in victory. Johnny starts to move and Harlow offers him a hand up, which he takes.)
Clark Ruggiero: Look at the sportsmanship between these two! Harlow’s experience won the day here, but a late rally by Johnny nearly was enough to steal the win! Hopefully he takes from this and comes back better than ever, Ben.
Ben Knight: I think he may, Clark, Johnny should look at this as the learning opportunity it is, and move forward.
Clark Ruggerio: And this is it for tonight! It’s been a great show full of action, I hope there’s more to come on next week’s show.
Ben Knight: We’ll catch you next week here on the EAW Network with even more to come. From me, Ben Knight and Clark, good night!
