(RECAP–Last week, Showdown took place from the beautiful Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The show starts with Kassidy Heart coming out and explaining why she attacked Adam Lucas and talking about their history which led to Adam Lucas coming out and tells her off before he issues a challenge for Reasonable Doubt in a Clash of Kings match, to which Kassidy accepted. The opening contest had Adam Lucas staying in the ring as he defeated the upstart Hans Grayson in singles action. The next match had Donovan Duke defeating Major Scotty Connor after Drake Armstrong came out of nowhere and attacked Scotty after what he did last week. After the match, Komatsu Ogawa and Lucas Johnson come out and turn this into a four way brawl and that leads to Kennedy Street coming out and making a special Unique Opportunity Four Way Ladder Match where there will be two briefcases: one with a title match of Kennedy’s choosing and the other has the “right” to serve Kennedy Street for thirty days.)
(The recap plays on as Heidi Huxley finds National Elite Champion Veena Adams and lets her know that at Reasonable Doubt that she will be defending her title against Hans Grayson…and Roberto De La Rosa in a triple threat match. Then Kyra Phillips was interviewing Lexi backstage talking about her future plans before she was interrupted by Ashlynn Quinn which leads to Lexi issuing a challenge for a 2 out of 3 falls match at Reasonable Doubt. Next, Holly Arrow and Alex Myers fought to a 20 minute time limit draw. After the match as Alex walks backstage, they were blind sided by Harley Lewis as he says that he is going to use Alex to tell his story.)
(The recap continues as Ms. Extreme overcomes the numbers game and defeats Roberto De La Rosa. She doesn’t get to enjoy the victory very long as Jack Ripley superkicks her immediately after the match ends. Backstage, Kennedy Street is meeting with Jon Kelton, Alex Myers, and Donovan Duke as they each make their case as to why they all should get the next shot at the Answers World Championship. Kennedy agrees and makes an Elimination Match with the three, plus Harley Lewis (who was eavesdropping behind the door), and after the show Holly Arrow to see who will become the Number One Contender for the Answers World Championship. The main event of the evening has Canada’s own Xander Payne and Ryan Joseph Wilson defeating Chris Elite and Answers World Champion Jake Smith after Impact, who was on commentary attacks Elite and Elite hits the Box Office Smash kick on Jake thinking it was him. After the match, Impact attacks Chris Elite from behind and takes him out before holding the Answers World Championship high in the air over his fallen future opponents as the recap ends…)
(“Brick Wall” by A Day to Remember starts playing throughout the arena and the crowd immediately starts cheering wildly as they know that another exciting edition of Saturday Night Showdown. Showdown is taking place from the amazing First Interstate Arena in beautiful Billings, Montana. The crowd scans across the raucous crowd who are holding their colorful, creative, and clever signs either supporting their favorites or making fun of the ones they don’t like. After a moment of showing the crowd, their signs, and the merchandise they are wearing, the camera settles at the commentary table where Deadprez, Eve, and Gavin Kirkland are sitting and more than ready to call all the Showdown action.)
Deadprez: We are one week away from Reasonable Doubt and this is the last stop before we head to Denver. Ladies and gentlemen, this is SATURDAY! NIGHT! SHOWDOWN! We are live from the First Interstate Arena in Billings, Montana. I am Deadprez and alongside Eve and Gavin Kirkland, we will be calling all the Showdown action. This is going to be a big night isn’t it?
Eve: You better believe it. Reasonable Doubt only one week away and we still have tonight to get through. Oh I can only imagine how much action and heat we are going to witness tonight.
Gavin Kirkland: ALL THE ACTION! That’s because WE WRESTLE!!!! There is so much going on tonight. I am so excited. We will be hearing from the Answers World Champion, Jake Smith. Jake is no doubt angry about what happened last week so he will talk about that and his next title defense in the Armageddon Hell in a Cell match. We will also be hearing from some of the participants in the Unique Opportunity ladder match.
Eve: We will also be hearing from Roberto De La Rosa tonight. He would absolutely love to bring the National Elite Championship to La Familia and take it away from the snotty little princess. Also tonight, we will be hearing from all of the participants in the Number One Contenders Elimination match. Five competitors, one goal. They all want to be the next person to fight for the Answers World Championship. They all will speak tonight.
Deadprez: We will also no doubt be getting the next edition of the story between Kennedy Street and Ms. Extreme. This is going to reach a fever pitch at some point because these two absolutely HATE each other. What will go down tonight? We will no doubt find out later.
Gavin Kirkland: Is it time? Is it time to talk about the matches?
Eve: Yes, Gavin. We can talk about the matches.
Gavin Kirkland: THE MATCHES!! THE MATCHES GET ME SO EXCITED!! Including Ashlynn Quinn taking on Hans Grayson. Will the upstart Grayson get some momentum as he heads into his first championship match or will it be Quinn who gets some energy as she faces Lexi? That will be tonight. Also, we have non title action with the National Elite Champion Veena Adams…Oh Veena…as she takes on Ryan Joseph Wilson. Will Veena once again show why she’s champion now or will Wilson beat the National Elite Champion and possibly put himself in line for a shot at Veena? That will be tonight.
Eve: Those are some big matches, but tonight, we have two more big matches on tap. First, we have tag team action where POTARA, Holly Arrow and Harper Lee take on the team of Donovan Duke and Jon Kelton. Duke and Kelton are opponents at Reasonable Doubt, but will they put aside any differences they have to pick up the win or will Potara’s combined power be too much? The next match is Jack Ripley taking on Chris Elite. Both men have big matches next week, but which one of these former World Champions will gain some momentum as we head to Denver. That will be tonight!
Deadprez: In our main event tonight, we have a FIRST TIME EVER MATCH! Kassidy Heart will be taking on Xander Payne in singles action for the first time ever if my research is right. Xander will have Ryan Joseph Wilson at ringside, but will it help Xander take the victory or will “The Mauler”,’ let her dangerous side go as she heads to Reasonable Doubt? We will find out tonight. Right now? Let’s head to the ring with the lovely Gina Romano.
Gina Romero: Ladies and gentlemen of the EAW universe! Please join me in welcoming at this time… The Answers World champion, Jake Smith!
( Wow! This episode of Saturday Night Showdown is kicking-off with a bang. The First Interstate Arena becomes unglued as ‘WAR’ by Grandson screams through the speakers. Soon after the “Quintessential Champion” appears on the entrance ramp! Despite the positive reception, he doesn’t look all-too pleased. Perhaps that has something to do with what occurred last weekend? I am sure we’ll find out momentarily! Jake unclasps his championship belt and raises it high into the air to the delight of the Montanians— Montanese? Look, I don’t know what the people of Montana are called, but they’re happy to be here! As he begins to scale down the ramp and head to the ring, we cut to the commentary table. Deadprez, what’ve you got?! )
Deadprez: What a start we have for you tonight, folks! If you’re still standing in front of the fridge and looking for some snacks— I’d suggest that you hurry up and sit down! Jake Smith is here, we’re one week out from Reasonable Doubt and given the events of last Saturday, I figure the champion will have a LOT on his mind to talk about! Gavin, Eve, what do you think?
Gavin Kirkland: I am not a betting man, especially with crypto these days, but I figure Jake Smith isn’t all-too pleased about his performance on last week’s show! Communication broke down completely with his former tag team partner Chris Elite, they were already looking pretty glum before Impact— who was slithering around at ringside, got involved! Impact hit Elite, who in turn thought that it was Smith who hit him. A Box Office Smash followed up by a Mic Drop from Ryan Joseph Wilson, and the champion was down for the count! It was surreal!
Eve: It was a fine performance from the team of Ryan and Xander Payne, both of whom we’ll be seeing in action tonight as Xander fights Kassidy Heart in the main event, whereas Ryan has a match-up against the new National Elite champion, Veena Adams! Back to Jake, though, and I have to agree. So much controversy has surrounded his reign at the top of Showdown— from cashing-in on Impact at Road to Redemption, then the big rematch at King of Elite going up in flames with the return of Chris, who ruled the tag team division with Jake as one-half of The Haircare Kings. I do worry that people may be questioning the legitimacy of Jake’s reign, being pinned in last week’s main event won’t do the “Face of Showdown” any favors!
( Jake ascends the steel steps and slides underneath the top rope to get into the ring. He gestures for a microphone from ringside as his entrance theme dies down. Once his request has been granted, he waits for the crowd to simmer down before beginning to speak! )
Jake Smith: Thanks for the warm reception, Montana, I appreciate it. I appreciate the support because I’ve got to be honest; things haven’t been so swell for me. This Answers World Championship sitting around my waist, it signals that I’m the best, or at least it should. Yet since winning back at Road to Redemption, there have been questions. Questions surrounding me and my reign, questions which quite frankly, are beginning to get to me. What should have been a moment of celebration, a moment that’ll recite to my grandchild long into the future, it’s surrounded with doubt and sadness, smoke-and-mirrors. I don’t know what to say.
Jake Smith: It took me a long, long time to get to the top. The battles and hardships that I’ve had along the way have shaped the man and the champion that you see before you. The scars and bruises on my body, the scars in my mentality that I don’t show to the world, they have shaped what I bring into the ring night-after-night, week-after-week. Winning the Cash in the Vault and cashing-in at Road to Redemption, sad as it may sound, was the biggest moment of my life. It was the crowning moment, the final boss, of everything I’ve fought to be in life. The years I have spent scratching-and-clawing across all three brands, fighting to become something in this business and become what I am now known as, a world champion.
Jake Smith: But since winning the Answers World Championship, people are saying that I’m not performing to the level that I should be. They’re saying I’m not doing this championship justice compared to some of the legends of the business that have held this belt before me. Maybe that has something to do with the method that I used to get ahold of this belt. Maybe that has something to do with how King of Elite ended. And I get it, sure, Impact had the lion’s portion of the match and who knows what would’ve happened had Chris decided not to return. But to undermine me, to say I don’t deserve this, that’s just ridiculous. Nobody is taking me seriously and they’re all expecting me to fail at Reasonable Doubt. They’re expecting Chris to use his momentum since returning to capture my championship. They’re expecting Impact to become an eleven-time champion, beating the man who cashed-in on him at Road to Redemption.
Jake Smith: In the midst of speculation— I see opportunity. I see a chance to put a stamp of authority on my reign. To show people that it isn’t a fluke. To show people that Jake Smith deserves to hold the Answers World Championship, to main event shows, to be that person that people tune in to see perform. What better match to do that in than the Armageddon Hell in a Cell? One of the most menacing, brutal stipulations in the history of Elite Answers Wrestling? If I win at Reasonable Doubt, if I survive the Hell in a Cell and decisively put an end to my feud with Impact, then who can have questions? Winning in such a match, against someone of Impact’s calibre, as well as a former champion in Chris Elite, someone who has been Mr. Consistent and has been that guy for so many years. This is my chance. If cashing-in at Road to Redemption was the biggest moment of my career, this has the potential to topple that.
Jake Smith: My first defence against Impact at King of Elite didn’t go the way that I thought it would and at Reasonable Doubt, I’m not going to allow any room for questions. On the subject of Impact, I want to make something clear about last week. That loss? Wasn’t my fault. I did my due diligence, I participated and worked with Chris, who clearly had no interest in reciprocating that treatment might I add. Mocking me and saying I got pinned doesn’t phase me. Given the circumstances, I can write it all off as a fluke. Impact’s meddling won’t go unpunished in the Armageddon Hell in a Cell, and Chris hitting me with the Box Office Smash? In seven days from now all these wrongs and failures are going to be—
( Jake Smith is cut off as ‘M3tamorphosis’ by Playboi Carti featuring Kid Cudi blasts through the speakers, bringing his speech to a standstill. It’s Impact, the dastardly son-of-a-gun himself! Impact comes out onto the stage, with a microphone in his hand! Jake doesn’t look too pleased to see the man who he fought at King of Elite— the very same man who arguably kick-started the chain of events leading him to be pinned in last week’s main event match-up! Impact’s entrance music fades, as the gazillion-time World champion begins to address Jake Smith. )
Impact: I’m sorry, I’m really sorry to interrupt. But I had to come out here. The seats in the back aren’t doing this five-star meltdown any justice. I mean, listen to yourself, Jake. You mention the prestige and the history of the Answers World Championship— who better to speak about it to than the first to ever do it? The inaugural? Me. Nobody has won that championship around your waist more times than I have. The only man to come close is Mr. DEDEDE. I know what it means to be the top guy in this company, the face, and I’ll tell you this. You’re not going to get anywhere flipping through a catalog of excuses as to why you don’t measure up. You’re never going to be seen as the figurehead of this company if you come on out here every week and have a little bitch and moan. People pay to see feats of power, champions pushing themselves past their limits. They pay to see the extraordinary— not some privileged cry baby complaining that people are rightfully skeptical of his fluke championship reign.
Impact: Because that’s what it is and it’s what you are, a fluke. I’ve said this before but I’m fine repeating it, you’re only a champion because of Cash in the Vault. If you were in the Chamber match at Road to Redemption? You wouldn’t be holding that title. I’m not going to complain about Cash in the Vault— I understand the concept, and I’m fine brushing off losing the Answers World Championship. You did the right thing cashing in on the night, after I survived the brutal Chamber match to retain my championship. It was the smart, logical thing to do. But what I’m not going to do is act like you’re some distinguished, future figurehead. You haven’t earned your stripes holding the Answers World Championship, and you /would/ have lost at King of Elite had it not been for Chris Elite and that’s not an opinion, but a commonly-known fact.
( Impact has gradually been walking down the entrance ramp as he speaks. Now he’s moving up the steel steps and is joining Jake Smith inside of the ring! )
Impact: So complaining about the people who are doubting you? It’s a pointless exercise. Deep down you know they’re right to throw skepticism in your path. You speak about having the opportunity to shock the world, to prove people wrong, to show that you belong as the ace of Showdown and as someone who can carry this brand into the future. But don’t you see you already had that chance at King of Elite? And you blew it, it went up in smoke, you turned in one of the worst performances this company has ever seen. Chris Elite— bless him, he simply didn’t want you to meet the same fate that he did back at Midsummer Massacre. Losing to me.
Impact: At Reasonable Doubt, there’s going to be—
Jake Smith: No, you know what? I’m done listening to you. Impact, I respect all that you have done for this business. But if anybody should know never to write somebody off, it’s you! The entire reason I was able to take this championship in the first place is because you underestimated me and what I bring to Saturday Night Showdown. Listening to you talk as if you’ve already won at Reasonable Doubt? You’re falling into old habits, friend. I know all about the Armageddon Hell in a Cell, I’ve competed inside of it before and lost. But so much has changed since then, I’ve grown as a man and as a wrestler, and at Reasonable Doubt? You’re going down whether you’d like to admit to that or not.
Jake Smith: I /PROMISE/ I’m going to beat your ass inside the Armageddon Hell in a Cell. I’m going to shock the world. I’m going to show everybody in this arena, everybody backstage, any man or woman who has ever doubted me, that they’re wrong. That you’re wrong, Impact. I’ll say it again, loud and clear so you know where we’re at. I /PROMISE/ I’m going to walk in and walk out with the Answers World Championship. Be it you, be it Chris Elite, I’ve had it to my limit with the both of you. No excuses, I’m putting it all on the table. I know where I am, my level of talent and what my future holds. At King of Elite, I wasn’t at my best. You best believe the version of me you’re going to see at Reasonable Doubt is going to breeze through you.
( Jake Smith angrily tosses the microphone to the side, as his entrance theme music begins to blare through the speakers. He and Impact are inches apart, face-to-face. Impact just smirks, slowly backing up. Jake Smith nods his head, assured in his promise. From here, we slowly move into our next segment of the show. What an insane start to Saturday Night Showdown! )
(We cut to the back where Kennedy Street sat at her desk, her hands clasped on the table after watching the opening of Showdown. With her in the office are the four participants from the Unique Opportunity Ladder Match, and it’s fair to say she is looking very pleased with herself. She looks at each of the individuals in turn, nodding her head. Nothing to do with them however, and everything, as usual, to do with her. She nods towards Drake Armstrong, and then the door.)
Kennedy Street: Close the door Honey, this is for our ears only
(Drake immediately, almost rushing, heads to the door and closes it, obviously eager to please. Kennedy nods once again, eyeing him up.)
Kennedy Street: Well, isn’t that a good start? It’s going to be interesting to see if all of you are just as eager to please.
Drake Armstrong: I most definitely am
Kennedy Street: Don’t peak too early Honey.
(Drake nods his head, once again doing as he is told.)
Kennedy Street: I must admit, I have surpassed myself with this match. A match that guarantees Showdown’s place at the top of the tree. I doubt the other General Managers have been as ‘creative’ as I have, but then again, when is anyone ever. I mean, some might say that serving me for thirty days is punishment when let’s face it, it most definitely isn’t. Anyone who is on my staff will tell you that I am more than generous when it comes to rewarding those in my employ. And if you are lucky enough to claim that suitcase, then you should be more than happy with that opportunity. However, me being a ‘giver’, I can assure you all that the second briefcase will be a huge chance at something very special, and almost on a par. So, let me make it perfectly clear… opportunities like this don’t come along every day, so I EXPECT every single one of you to go out there and steal the show. Has Kennie made herself clear?
(Lucas and Ogawa look at each other, Ogawa rolling his eyes in disbelief that he finds himself in this situation. The Major remains stoic in his stance and says nothing, his eyes fully focused on her. Drake however seems almost bursting at the seams to speak.)
Kennedy Street: You ok there Honey? You need the toilet or something?
Drake Armstrong: I just want to say thank you for doing this and want to assure you that I do feel honored for this opportunity.
Komatsu Ogawa: (under his breath) Kiss ass
(Drake doesn’t seem to hear the comment and continues.)
Drake Armstrong: Everything I have seen thus far shows me that you are the perfect woman for the job, fully equipped to take this brand forwards. I look forward to winning my chance at something special…
(Kennedy gives him the eye, Drake immediately picking up on the implication.)
Drake Armstrong: …but at the same time, if I served you for thirty days, it would be my absolute honor. You have nothing to fear, I will give everything I have for you.
Komatsu Ogawa: Am I living in an alternate reality or something?
(Kennedy looks at him, raising an eyebrow and staring at him intently.)
Komatsu Ogawa: What? It’s not like we’ve not heard of this before.
(Kennedy continues staring at him, but Komatsu doesn’t buckle. Thankfully, before it gets awkward, Lucas Johnson speaks, breaking the tension and taking Kennedy’s attention away.)
Lucas Johnson: What Komatsu is trying to say is that he is thankful for this chance…
Komatsu Ogawa: I’m not saying that at all
Lucas Johnson: And I’m glad that finally all my efforts are being rewarded because let’s be honest here, I have more than earned this opportunity.
Kennedy Street: Yeah… OK.
(Kennedy scoffs, but Lucas carries on regardless.)
Lucas Johnson: I hope to claim the ‘right’ briefcase, and thus cement my place in this company, and if I do get the other one, then I guess I will have to deal with it. Either way, I will make my mark one way or another.
(Lucas turns to the Major, catching the slight chuckle that escapes from his lips.)
Lucas Johnson: Something funny? I thought you were lacking a sense of humor these days.
Major Michael Scott Conner: The way you are all demeaning yourself. Yes, I find that humorous.
Drake Armstrong: Demeaning? Why, by wanting to be someone?
Komatsu Ogawa: You can give that up for starters, you’ll never be someone.
Major Michael Scott Conner: What you maggots need to understand is that in the Corp, when it comes to warfare there is only one solution and that is victory. Nothing else matters. Therefore, let me make it clear, I will not be serving anyone, except the United States of America. That is my only allegiance.
(He says it with true patriotic pride, Kennedy allowing a smile to form on her lips.)
Kennedy Street: Well, isn’t that kewt Honey. There is no question you will make a good soldier, doing the bidding of the United States of Kennedy Street.
(The Major listens to her but has no intention of serving her. Not in this lifetime. But Kennedy has heard enough, and leans forwards, exemplifying her intentions.
Kennedy Street: It has been interesting listening to your viewpoints, because I love nothing more than taking opinions on board. I always give my roster a voice…
(Ogawa scoffs again, Kennedy looking at him, but choosing not to respond.)
Kennedy Street: But now you will all listen to me. I expect nothing more, nor will I be satisfied with anything less than one of the best matches of the night. Reasonable Doubt is my chance to once again showcase everything good about Showdown, as well as proving that I am the most forward-thinking General Manager in EAW.
Drake Armstrong: Which you are.
Kennedy Street: I have given you all a stage, now you must all perform, because although I am sweet as candy, and as nice as pie, NOBODY wants to piss off Kennie. It NEVER ends well. I look forward to seeing what you all do in the Unique Opportunity Ladder Match.
(She stops talking and looks down at some paperwork on her desk. After a short while she realizes that they are all still standing there and looks up again.
Kennedy Street: You may leave.
(Obediently, all four competitors leave the office, Kennedy watching them go. As the door closes, she smiles, pride filling her face.)
Kennedy Street: Sometimes, I amaze myself.
(The scene cuts to ringside, focusing on her happy face.)
(‘Without You’ by Halsey ft. Juice Wrld plays through the arena as Ashlynn Quinn comes out to a pretty negative response from the crowd. They clearly do not appreciate or like her in the least bit, and she continues to walk down, not minding any of these fans. As she approaches the ring, she stands on the apron and blows everybody a kiss before entering and waiting for her opponent.)
Gina Romano: THIS MATCH IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL WITH A THIRTY MINUTE TIME LIMIT! INTRODUCING FIRST, FROM LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA— THE BOUJEE PRINCESS, ASHLYNN QUINN!
Eve: This is a match for her to win. It’s clear that Lexi will be watching on, and a loss here could be detrimental in her chances of winning next week. However, her opponent is no joke as well, having his own title match against Veena Adams and De La Rosa next week!
(‘The Leaving Song Pt. II’ by AFI plays as the crowd erupts in some form of applause. Hans is the favorite in this match, but he doesn’t bother to mingle with the crowd as much. He gives a few people some high fives as they tap his shoulder. Walking down the entrance ramp, he looks at Ashlynn Quinn from below, clearly trying to intimidate her as he enters the ring.)
Gina Romano: AND HER OPPONENT, FROM BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA— THE EXTRAORDINARY, HANS GRAYSON!
Deadprez: He is no joke indeed. One of EAW’s hottest rising talents and personally, he’s one of my favorites to win should the New Era Classic come back up in the coming months! Hans Grayson has risen amongst the ranks, putting up a fight against Impact and making his name into the main event! Next week, he’s going to be put to the test as he aims to grab a title from Veena on her first defense!
DING! DING! DING!
Eve: AND WE ARE OFF! Ashlynn with a clear height disadvantage here, and Hans looks fired up and ready to go! He knows he wants to come out of this match with a victory, and that fire in his eyes is showing exactly that! Ashlynn doesn’t seem like she wants to get into the intense action right away, though! Hans rushes in, but Ashlynn rolls out of the ring! She’s applying some lipstick on, and Hans doesn’t even bother! He wants to let Ashlynn do her thing, so there’s no distractions when she loses! Ashlynn rolls back inside the ring, but Hans is right there!
Deadprez: And she continues straggling on the outside! Hans is starting to get quite irritated, and Ashlynn doesn’t see this! She thinks Hans isn’t that prepared, so she rolls back inside the ring! Hans comes in with a MASSIVE DROPKICK, FLOORING HER! Ashlynn did not expect that to happen so quickly, and he picks her up and whips her into the turnbuckle! Hans comes in with a clothesline, backing her up in the corner! Hans unloads on her, sending shot after shot going into her ribcage as Ashlynn takes the beating! She’s backed up, as Hans takes a few steps back!
Gavin Kirkland: And Ashlynn looks shocked! She entered the ring with a bad, bad man and this may have scared her off! Ashlynn tries to stand up, but Hans comes back in with a baseball slide clothesline! He lets her fall flat on her face as he leaps off the second rope into a jumping knee strike! Ashlynn is absolutely stunned, and Hans Grayson seems to be taking the majority of this match so far! Totally not something she expected, for sure! Hans is on a roll here, and he wants to send a message to Veena Adams that he is definitely a worthy contender for her title!
Eve: And Hans is coming in with a barrage of mounted punches sent raining down Ashlynn’s head! He’s destroying her vanity, her makeup, her beauty, OH MY WHAT BRUTALITY! Hans picks her up by the neck, slightly jumps her up and tosses her overhead for a Belly to Back Suplex! Hans is on a roll here, and it’s clear that in this match, there is one person who has shown that he wants it pretty badly, and that man is no other than Hans Grayson! Ashlynn has enough fight left in her, but Hans takes it right out with a jab to the face, followed by a left cross!
Deadprez: Dude, what is going on here? Hans is showing a whole different side to him, showing that violence in a more agile and athletic way! Ashlynn did not seem to be prepared for the kind of match she had put herself in, but Hans doesn’t care about all of that! He ducks under and sweeps Ashlynn off her feet! Ashlynn is down, and Hans celebrates as Ashlynn gets up pretty early! Hans turns around, and he’s met with a slap to the face! Hans takes it, and he tries to come back with a slap, but Ashlynn strikes him again! Hans does not seem to appreciate the disrespect coming from Ashlynn here!
Gavin Kirkland: Who would? Nobody would take disrespect at all, not even me! Hans comes back in with a knife edge chop, but Ashlynn shows that she has some fight left in her and comes right in with a step-up enzuigiri! Hans staggers back as Ashlynn runs off the ropes, but he catches her again before slamming her back down with a back suplex! But no! Ashlynn managed to do a backflip, before sending a boot into Han’s jaw! The trajectory of this match is about to change right here! Ashlynn is pushing in, trading jabs and slaps of her own to remind Hans Grayson who he’s messing with!
Eve: And Hans has to take these slaps, but he then follows up with a devastating elbow of his own! Ashlynn’s floored to the ground, and Hans rebounds off the ropes for a running knee to her nose! Hans has her dead to rights, and he could end the match right here if he wanted to! All of this energy is running through his veins, and I don’t blame him if he’s getting a bit too excited! Hans gets up on the top rope, and this early on— he’s going for the Grayson Splash! Dude, what is up with this match so far! It’s been pure speed from the get-go, and it’s interesting to see what Ashlynn’s gonna do to catch up!
Deadprez: No! Ashlynn catches him by the leg and he’s pulled down! She slaps him dead in the face again before sending a back elbow into his nose! Ashlynn rebounds off the opposite turnbuckle, but so does Hans! Ashlynn uses her speed to catch Hans by surprise and she immediately puts him down for a Lou Thesz Press! Now it’s her turn to begin mounting the heavy shots onto him! She’s unloading fists in areas Hans tried to attack her in earlier, clearly wanting some payback!
(Suddenly, Lexi comes in through the audience stands. She makes eye contact with Ashlynn, which then leads her hold to be much weaker on Hans. It’s clear that Lexi is here to watch her opponent and study here before their match at Reasonable Doubt.)
Gavin Kirkland: Is that Lexi? Dude, Ashlynn is shocked, and that might’ve distracted her! She had a chance to turn the tides here, but that might change with Lexi now in the midst!
Gavin Kirkland: Hans pushes her off him, though! He rolls over to his right side, before kipping up as Ashlynn follows as well! Hans shrugs a little, and Ashlynn blows him a kiss! Hans catches it, before throwing it to the audience and sending his boot into her face for a roundhouse kick! Ashlynn dodges it, but she immediately goes up and under and puts him headfirst into the ground for a Jumping DDT! Hans catches her midair, though— and he releases her before she can try anything! Ashlynn is finding her rhythm, but could it be too late?
Eve: I don’t think so! Ashlynn is showing Hans that she’s not just a pretty face, and she can fight too! Hans tries to land another roundhouse, but Ashlynn ducks and counters with a Frankensteiner! She catches him off guard, and Hans is down! He’s down for the first time in the entirety of this match so far, and this in itself is quite the accomplishment! Ashlynn celebrates as she walks around the ring, though! She’s looking at Lexi while taunting her, clearly buying Hans enough time to recover and come back! Lexi continues mouthing off, before turning her eye towards Hans which Ashlynn picks up!
Deadprez: I do think that she has to be a bit more careful, however! Hans can get up from stuff like that pretty easily, and he does! Ashlynn turns around only to be met with a FLAMING PUNCH! Hans pulled that one Superman Punch out of his back pocket pretty early on, and this in itself is quite interesting if you’re looking at his strategy here! It doesn’t seem like he’s going in with a plan, except showing what he’s capable of against a worthy opponent! Hans Grayson has her down, and he’s going for the cover! Can he put her out this early on?

Gavin Kirkland: NO! Ashlynn fights on, and Hans is shocked! He did not think Ashlynn had enough gas in her tank to kick out, but apparently she does! All he can do is shake his head a little and get right back to work, which he does! He immediately picks her up and he’s just applying her into a clinch! Ashlynn strikes back with several closed fist strikes to the stomach, forcing Hans to let go as he flings her to the side like paper! What a show of strength from the Extraordinary Hans Grayson here, making quick work of Ashlynn Quinn so far in this matchup! It’s looking like a mismatch so far, with the occasional momentum shifts here and there!
Eve: Hans is holding his side in pain, but he must fight on! Ashlynn stands back up, and Hans immediately comes in swinging! He floors her with a clothesline, Ashlynn gets up— and Hans just repeats the entire process! Clothesline by Hans, immediate response from Ashlynn as she kips up and sends both her feet into Hans’ face! He takes the hit, but it doesn’t seem to discourage him! He wants to keep fighting on, and this is admirable! Ashlynn seemed to think that did some damage, but Hans picked her up into a powerbomb position! Can he take her out right here? He does! Hans drops her onto the mat and he’s using this time to catch his breath!
Deadprez: Using up all that energy definitely got to him quickly into this match, but it’s clear that he didn’t use too much! A few deep breaths was all it took for Hans to get right back into the game, but not for long as Ashlynn came in with a Superkick! The Superkick just took Hans down to a knee, as Ashlynn knows she has to apply some more! She turns him around, and she’s looking to apply the Pink Star Diamond, but no! Hans lifts her up into yet another powerbomb and brings her right down, taking her out again! Both of these talents are giving it everything they have, laying it all on the line right here!
Gavin Kirkland: Ashlynn came into this match with the stereotype that she won’t put in that much work, but it’s clear that she is! She’s giving it her everything, trying to get a good start before her match next week on Reasonable Doubt against Lexi! Hans catches his breath again, and so does Ashlynn! Both of these talents are circling the ring here, and Hans tries to catch Ashlynn, but she rolls out of the ring with speed! She looks towards some of the fans who are dressed up like her, as they begin celebrating! Lexi looks right at them from the audience stands, clearly bothering Ashlynn! Hans is clearly a bit affected and bothered by the taunt, so he immediately acts on his impulse!
Eve: Doesn’t seem like he cares all too much about collateral damage, as he rebounds off the ropes and runs into Ashlynn for a massive suicide dive! The fans clear the way, as they boo Hans Grayson back into the ring! Some of them even throw crumpled paper at him! It doesn’t seem to bother him, though, as he smiles at them and tosses Ashlynn back inside! Hans wants to continue this war, and the referee is clearly trying to figure out where the action is! Ashlynn uses this chance to strike him dead in the crown jewels, sending Hans to a halt! That must’ve done quite some damage there, and it doesn’t seem like he’s boding too well!
Deadprez: Hans Grayson is down to one knee, and Ashlynn immediately knows that this is a chance she must take! Hans tries to stand up, but Ashlynn comes in with a straight shot, a running knee as she transitions it into a German Suplex! The NOSTYLIST CONNECTS! Hans is down, and Ashlynn is going for her cover! It’s her first of the night here, and trust me, that surprises me too! Ashlynn clearly had to keep up with Hans’ pace for the first part of this match, but it seems like she’s really finding her own!

Gavin Kirkland: NO! Hans is still fighting! He kicked out at the count of 2.91, and that just shocked her! Ashlynn knew he had some fight, but after a low blow and one of her most devastating moves? How is that even possible? Ashlynn is trying to make him tap out with a choke, but Hans shrugs her off with pure strength, before using whatever power he has left to drop her headfirst into a nearby turnbuckle! That totally must’ve hurt her pretty badly, as Ashlynn rebounds off it, and not in a good way! Hans comes in and he manages to put her out with another Flaming Punch! Ashlynn staggers against the turnbuckle as Hans puts her up there!
Eve: Is he going to do it? He hooks the arm around her, and he’s looking down on the mat! Hans Grayson is going to do a Spanish Fly, as Lexi looks on, clearly amazed at his talent! He flips over into a Moonsault, carrying Ashlynn with him as he brings her down to the mat! She’s clearly knocked the hell out, and that distraction from Lexi really added up here! This was not the way she wanted to see things, especially heading into one of the biggest matches of her life!
Deadprez: And Hans goes back on the top rope! He’s looking on as the crowd cheers and chants his name! Lexi is doing it in a way to taunt his opponent, Ashlynn Quinn! Ashlynn wakes up to see this, but it’s too late! Hans LANDS IT! HE LANDS THE 450 SPLASH! THE GRAYSON SPLASH TAKES ASHLYNN QUINN OUT, AND HE GOES FOR THE COVER!

Deadprez: What a match. Both talents came out swinging, but ultimately, the interference and the distraction from Lexi cost Ashlynn the match pretty late into it. It’ll be interesting to see how she bounces back from this at the PPV, though!
Eve: Ashlynn is not going to be happy about this!
(The camera pans to Lexi who laughs at Ashlynn before disappearing to the back, meanwhile Hans’ arm is raised as the crowd cheers wildly. The camera then fades elsewhere.)
(A series of vignettes start to play with the five participants of the Five-Way Elimination Match for the Number One Contendership to the Answers World Championship.)
Donovan Duke: Let me start off by saying that I am the utmost grateful for everything that has happened thus far and I will be forever thankful.Now for the last year, I got to experience something that I never even thought was possible. To say the least, it was the ride of a lifetime. As much as I loved it and as much as I hated to see it end, I knew it was time for me to advance on with my career and continue on with my next adventure. I was ready to see what the road had for me, but I already knew what my main goal was. That was to get myself into contention for the Answers World Championship. I wasn’t expecting to get my name onto the list in a quick manner for many reasons. I knew that I was going to have to work my butt off to get myself to that point. So what happened a few weeks waa a complete surprise and now I find myself one match away from becoming the Number One Contender.
Donovan Duke: The fact that General Manager Kennedy Street and myself really don’t care for each other and the fact that she would even have me in consideration to be a contender for the Answers World Championship means the world to me. I am well aware that chances like this can happen few and far in between and for that I am extremely grateful for this chance. At Reasonable Doubt, I am going to make the most of the opportunity given to me. I am going to show that my title reign was no fluke as I outlast four other competitors in this match to be the last man standing and to become the Number One Contender for the Answers World Championship. I’ve made history once already and I am more than ready to do it again.
(It slowly fades from Donovan to Holly Arrow.)
Holly Arrow: Before this was a Fatal Five Way Match, it felt like this was kinda just what you’d expect it to be. Four Elitists clashing to become Champion, then we’d get a title match, no matter how personal it could get, no matter how much it is strictly business; this was a proving ground. We had Alex, Donovan, Harley and Kelton all fighting for the top spot. But following the match I had with Alex Myers, inserting me into this match and thus making it Fatal Five Way and arguably even more competitive, I feel this match is so much more than just a proving ground. To be honest, it’s no secret that if I win, the potential matchup of Jake Smith vs. Holly Arrow is going to be, while no doubt intriguing, a match that is so unexpected. It’s confusing. I don’t know what’s going to happen, I’m not sure Jake does, I’m not sure anyone else will. It’s a match that, as I’ve said before, I’m scared of – just for the implications in mind. If this was a one-on-one match on Showdown, no Championship on the line, of course I’ll be gunning for the win, but I’ll be able to walk out of that arena and actually look at Jake no matter the result. But the fact is, I am now fighting for an opportunity to take EVERYTHING away from him, and rather than give up, deep down inside I want to win. I want to become Champion.
Holly Arrow: And I think that fact almost gives me more reason to win than anyone else here. The fact that this match is now deeply personal for me and me alone, I have more drive to come out on top, there is more going on inside my head than anyone else here, for better or for worse. Just the fact that I have to go on to face Jake if I win, I’m sure it puts me at a disadvantage compared to everyone else. The fact is, though, that is the only way I am ever going to be the best in this company. The only way I can never get to the top is if I don’t overcome those disadvantages, and that’s what I’m going to set my mind towards. Nobody here is going to stop me. Not a single person here will come close to stopping me. There is so much I have to move towards in order to prove that I can actually keep up in this company, not just to everybody else either; but myself. I have to prove to MYSELF that I can do this, because I’ve been failing to do so thus far. Every time I get close I’ve choked, and I know that it isn’t because of some sort of inability on my end. I know that it isn’t because of me. I know that I have just been at the wrong place at the wrong time over, and over, and over. Not for much longer.
Holly Arrow: And besides; what kind of girlfriend would I be if I didn’t want Jake to have the best possible challenge? What kind of girlfriend would I be if I didn’t make sure that regardless of the result, our household keeps that Championship around for much longer? What kind of girlfriend would I be if I didn’t make sure that Jake had someone he knows he can push himself to beat, far beyond anyone else? I know that man more than anyone here does, not only do I have the best chance at success, but I have the best chance at giving him the BEST possible defense. Regardless of the result, regardless of the matchup, all assuming that he walks out of the Hell in a Cell Champion which I know he will; I am confident it will end well regardless of what happens. I am confident enough in not just him, but us, to overcome this strange scenario we’re in, and have a Match of the Year contender. Nobody else can say the same thing. Donovan is a friend, but he’s not as close as I am. Kelton has history, but he’s nowhere near Jake nor my level. Harley and Alex have that first-time drive, but I’ve already been in this scenario, and I know how painful it is to lose. No matter the scenario, I confidently believe that this is my match to win, Jake is my opponent at Grand Rampage, and the Answers World Championship is NOT leaving our residence.
Holly Arrow: If it’s the last thing I do, I will make sure of it. If it’s the last thing I can muster up, I will not fail. Jake and I have fought so hard this entire season, and while I’m not sure what his reaction to all of this is, or would be; as Champion he deserves to have someone who is equal to him in every way possible face off against him, giving him the ultimate test. Nobody else here will do that. I’ll have to go through hell to do that, mental and physical. I’ll have to prepare for the worst. Believe it or not I don’t want it to end poorly. But what other choice do I have?
(It then transitions into Harley Lewis…)
Harley Lewis: Four other people. Four other people who I have faced at some point in my career, and four other people who have seen me at every phase of my life. Donovan, Kelton and Holly have faced me when I was a Don, while Alex fought me last season in my third match on Dynasty. It has become clear that compared to the rest of you, some have considered me an afterthought. Fodder, somebody who’s there to boost up the numbers, but seem to forget one very important detail. I have experience facing each and every single one of you. I know what Alex is going to do, and the same goes for Donovan, Kelton and everybody else that decides to grab that title opportunity for themselves.
Harley Lewis: I have seen, and I am tired of witnessing the other New Breed talents make a name for themselves while I am left with nothing. I may have failed to capture the National Elite Championship, but this? This is a hell of a lot better. When I get my shot, when I show EAW exactly why the hype around moi is as hot as it is now, it’ll be the one defining moment I need. The one that’s going to separate me from any other hotshot who’s trying to make a name for themselves, trying to capture gold and rack up wins on the scoreboard. I may be laughing now, but best believe this isn’t a joke to me.
Harley Lewis: What you fail to understand is that this was written in the cards for me. I am done being patient, I am done taking my time and fighting the bottom feeders of this company. Everybody saw a big name in me when I signed the dotted line and put on a Match of the Year Worthy performance at Pain for Pride, and that alone should’ve flipped a switch on me early on. I should’ve called my shot at the big guns ahead of time, but no, I refused. I continued to help people who didn’t want to be saved and now that I have an opportunity this big lying ahead of me, it’s time that I quit being so humble.
Harley Lewis: Alex, Kelton, Holly— Donovan. All four of you have proven yourselves to be a factor in this match, somebody who’s going to put up a fight day in and day out. You are all worthy heroes, but at the end of the day; this isn’t going to be another superhero story. The bad guy wins because the bad guy will do everything in his power to make sure he can. I’m not in the ring with the four of you, no. All four of you are in the ring with me. I’m a caged animal that’s been finally unleashed. Some people want to see me fail. Next week, get ready to be disappointed.
(As it fades from Harley, it transitions to Jon Kelton.)
Jon Kelton: As much as I hate to admit it. I think it’s fair to say that I’m probably one of the underdogs heading into this match. I doubt there are many people who expect me to win and come out on top and that’s fine, I definitely understand the hesitation. In the three years it’s been since I’ve returned I haven’t given people much of a reason to believe in me. I don’t say that to garner sympathy or paint myself as a victim. I say it because I’m honest with myself and I can see what’s happening in front of me. I’m not the type of elitist you’ll find plastered on a poster or you’ll see advertised for a Marquee Event, and that’s fine. I’ve been open and adamant about my belief that I have to work twice as hard as everyone else to only receive half the credit and recognition. And again, I don’t say this for sympathy. I say it because I want it to be understood and realized. I’ve been in EAW for over a decade and not once have I had a meaningful match for a World Championship. Not once have I held a World Championship. And honestly, I’d go as far as to say there probably aren’t many people who even view me as a World Championship contender. I can stand here all day and talk about why and how I’m criminally underrated and underappreciated, but that would just blind people as to what I’m really here to say. Despite everything that I’ve gone through in EAW, all the trials and tribulations. The good, the bad, the ugly, through it all I’ve remained a staple here. I’ve proven myself as someone capable of evolving, capable of being better. I’ve proven myself as someone deserving. And if anyone, anyone at all deserves a chance to challenge for the Answers World Championship at Grand Rampage, then it is me.
Jon Kelton: And while that comment may be met with cynicism, allow me the chance to explain. You see I don’t say I deserve to be Number One Contender simply because I feel as if I’m better than the four other elitists in this match. I say it because since 2009; since I debuted in EAW, I have never had a one-on-one match for A World Championship at a Marquee Event. I don’t think it’s too far-fetched for me to believe that it’s about damn time I get that. I see the hate people have for me. I hear the criticism loud and clear. And I know that there are people who’d rather see me gone than ever see me in a World Championship match. I hear it every single week. I hear the same sentiments week after week. And despite all the hate and discontent that comes my way, I’m still here. I still show up week after week. I still give my all week after week. Whether I’m sick. Whether I’m tired. Whether I just plain out don’t want to— regardless…I am here. Every single week, I am here, with one goal in mind: Prove them wrong. And that’s exactly what I’m going to do at Reasonable Doubt. I’m going to go out in front of a packed out arena, in front of my doubters, detractors and naysayers, and I’m going to prove them wrong.

Alex Myers: Ever since what went down at No Regards, I have been left in an endless dread of what I need to do to make sure that I can bring peace back to Showdown, and I can bring myself back to the World Title scene, fighting for the Answers World Championship. I have felt bad for what happened to Hurricane Hawk, I have been wondering what I need to do just to be able to make it up to him, and yet, I have been left clueless. I cut the head off the snake known as Jack Ripley at Road To Redemption, but that didn’t feel like it was enough. I tried to go on to become the winner of the King Of Elite tournament, but I didn’t even make it past the quarter finals of the tournament. I continue to try and fight back through whatever is put in my way, and yet, time and time again, I am left wondering if it is enough. If everything I am doing is enough. All I have wanted since I arrived on Showdown was to become the Answers World Champion, and to become a Guardian Angel to all, yet I never knew what was enough. Until, now.
Alex Myers: I have been given the incredible opportunity at Reasonable Doubt to compete against four other talented Elitists, in a fatal five way elimination match, all for a shot to be able to challenge for the Answers World Championship at Grand Rampage. And no matter how much it may not be looking like it will go my way, if I was to be completely honest right now, I genuinely am confident in my abilities. I am confident that I am going to be able to make it far, and I am confident that I am going to be able to make it to Grand Rampage, to face Jake Smith, or whoever it may be by the time it comes around, and have the opportunity once again to become the new Answers World Champion. When I failed at No Regards, I continued to think to myself; what do I need to do in order for me to be able to make it back to the shot at the World Championship, and now I realized… this is the way. Outlasting Holly Arrow, outlasting Harley Lewis, Jon Kelton, and Donovan Duke, and finally making it to Grand Rampage to become the Answers World Champion. I realized; this is what will be enough.

He is very determined to win this match. Ryan tags with Xander before entering the ring and starts warming up for the match. )

Gavin Kirkland: I’m pretty sure Ryan is ready to prove himself once again. He looks very determined ever since he dropped his evil personality and joined forces with Xander Payne, in order to become a better person and reach the top of the tag team league.
Eve: No lies there, Gavin. Ryan has been working hard to improve himself and learn from the setbacks and mistakes he made in the past. Today, he is committed to becoming a better man, and tonight, he plans to demonstrate his progress to the National Elite Champion, Veena Adams.
( Ryan leans against the corner, keeping his eyes fixed on the stage as ‘7 Rings’ by Ariana Grande begins to play. Veena Adams, with the National Elite title around her waist, makes her way down to the ring. She looks up at Ryan for a few seconds, but doesn’t seem to care much before turning her gaze away and continuing towards the ring. )

Deadprez: Veena Adams achieved an impressive victory against Donovan Duke earlier this year at King of Elite, earning her the National Elite Championship. Tonight, she looks to showcase all the hard work and dedication she put in to become the champion. Her first challenge is against Ryan Wilson, and she’s determined to prove her worth as the reigning champion.

Gavin Kirkland: Ryan Wilson takes on the current National Elite Champion, Veena Adams, and the match is underway with Xander Payne watching these two from the ringside area. Ryan raises both hands up in the air, asking Veena for a collar and elbow tie-up- oh. :lupe:
Eve: Ryan Wilson starts the match against the National Elite Champion, Veena Adams, but Veena doesn’t care and slaps Ryan across the face as soon as the match begins!
Veena Adams: (Off-Mic) You do not belong in my ring. You do not deserve to be here, and you do not even get to lay a finger on me, you homeless jerk… YOU should kill yourself NOW-
Deadprez: OH AND RYAN HAVE ENOUGH OF IT! Ryan delivers a swift right hand to Veena’s face, firmly grasps her wrist, and propels her towards the corner. He sprints towards her with lightning speed and delivers a Helluva Kick, causing Veena’s teeth to rattle down her throat!
Gavin Kirkland: Ryan delivers a clothesline to Veena, sending her over the ropes and down to the outside of the ring. He then looks down at Veena as she starts to rise. Veena tries to capitalize on herself… RYAN RUNS THROUGH THE ROPES TO THE OUTSIDE, TAKING HER OUT WITH A SUICIDE DIVE!

Gavin Kirkland: Veena doesn’t waste any time to seize her opportunity and takes Ryan off guard with a Cartwheel Kick! The move connects with Ryan’s head, sending him crashing to the mat!
Eve: Veena quickly pops back to her feet and turns Ryan to face her while he’s lying on the ground. She starts throwing a barrage of punches at Ryan, trying to weaken him down in a rough way!
Deadprez: Ryan is clearly in a bad way, taking punch after punch as Veena rains down blows upon him. He tries to cover up and protect himself, but Veena’s attack is relentless, making it difficult for him to mount any kind of defense!

Eve: Veena suddenly picks Ryan off his feet, effortlessly lifting him up. She then starts giving him a balance, helping him stand on both feet properly. Veena begins to get her guard up, preparing for what’s to come. Veena throws a flurry of punches at Ryan, utilizing the boxing style she has trained and perfected over the years! Ryan tries to dodge the blows, but Veena is relentless, landing punches everywhere!
Deadprez: Veena is going all in, pouring all her energy into the fight! She demands to show Ryan what she’s made of and to teach him a lesson or two! Veena suddenly stops punching and shifts her focus to a different tactic.
Gavin Kirkland: Veena quickly drives her right knee directly into Ryan’s, catching him off guard. He winces in pain as he stumbles back a few steps. Veena follows up with another knee strike, this time aiming for Ryan’s face. He barely manages to block the blow, but the impact still leaves him dazed! Eve: Veena is trying to pull Ryan’s hands off her mouth, but Ryan puts all his effort into the submission move, making her suffer the taste of her own medicine! He leans backward, letting more pressure go into the STF, causing Veena to writhe in pain worse than ever!
Deadprez: Veena tries to escape, but it’s utterly useless. Ryan has her where he wants her, and he’s not going to waste this opportunity. He’s trying his best to take out the champion! Ryan pulls himself backward, making it harder for Veena to escape and increasing the pressure on her!

Deadprez: Ryan lets go of the submission hold because he can’t resist the damage any longer…. VEENA PICKS RYAN UP OFF THE GROUND BY HIS HEAD AND STARTS SLAMMING IT REPEATEDLY ON THE GROUND! SHE KEEPS SLAMMING HIM, AND WITH EACH IMPACT, THE MOVE SEEMS TO GET MORE POWERFUL THAN EVER BEFORE!
Gavin Kirkland: Ryan starts fading, his eyes slowly closing down. The referee tries to stop Veena, but she isn’t moving at all. She keeps throwing Ryan’s head to the ground while staring at Xander, looking right into his soul! What are these two up to?

( The referee tries to push Veena away, but she ignores him and heads to the outside. The referee quickly goes to check on Ryan while Veena goes face-to-face with Xander on the outside, staring at him intently. )

( Xander quickly leans against the corner, looking up to the air and acting like nothing happened, until the referee turns his attention back to Veena and sees her down on the ground.)

( Veena points at Xander, trying to convince the referee that Xander did something illegal to this match. “I’m the innocent one!” typa. )

She starts walking towards Ryan, who is still down on the ground, and picks him up….
Eve: Ryan pushes Veena’s hand off him and tries to fight back with a right hand, but Veena responds immediately with a hard punch that stuns him back onto the ropes. Ryan bounces off the ropes and delivers a forearm smash in reply! Veena pulls him back up and goes for an uppercut, sending Ryan back down to the ropes once again!
Deadprez: RYAN BOUNCES OFF THE ROPES AND THIS TIME, TAKING DOWN VEENA WITH A GODDAMN RUNNING DROPKICK RIGHT INTO HER FACE!
Gavin Kirkland: I’ve seen some of that before! Do you remember the kid named Dyllan I was talking about back then? He showed me some of his favorite Japanese wrestling matches, and I saw one of them hit that type of dropkick that could possibly break someone’s teeth! This is great!

Eve: And so, they should, this is going to be a huge event for Showdown.
Gavin Kirkland: Xander Payne being ejected was a huge moment, and you can bet he will have something to say in the future. LA FAMILIA!!!
(Boos ring out as La Familia jump the guard rail, Roberto, Javier and Diego swarming the ring and going straight after Ryan, Roberto nailing him with a couple of hard shots)
Eve: I bet Ryan wished Xander was still out here. OOOOO, Ryan Wilson dispatched straight through the ropes and sent crashing into the security barricade.
Gavin Kirkland: I don’t think it’s Ryan they are after.
(Roberto turns towards Veena, who is just getting to her feet.)
Deadprez: This can’t be good at all… Roberto giving Veena the eye, he of course faces her at Reasonable Doubt with Hans Grayson next week in a huge triple threat for the National Elite Championship.
(Roberto says something to Javier and Diego, Esmeralda screaming from ringside.)
Deadprez: VEENA ADAMS, STRAIGHT RIGHT TO ROBERTO DE LA ROSA!!!
Eve: Roberto rocked on his heels, but Javier and Diego wrap her up, Javier with a flurry of hard rights. Followed up with an Irish Whip into the corner.
Deadprez: Roberto wipes his mouth…RUNNING KNEE INTO THE CORNER. VENNA DECIMATED WITH THAT SHOT TO THE JAW.
(Veena drops to one knee but gets up to her feet trying to fight.)
Gavin Kirkland: Blockbuster DDT from Roberto de La Rosa. And look at La Familia, applauding the shot. This numbers game is just too much.
(Boos continue to roll around the arena whilst on the outside, Ryan is still out, the extent of his exertions in the match, coupled with the attack rendering him out of the equation. Back in the ring, Javier and Diego pick Veena up, as Roberto measures the distance.)
Deadprez: BIG BOOT TO THE CHOPS!!! What a shot from Roberto De La Rosa, making a huge point here.
Eve: Veena is down, and she is out. Is this a preview of what will happen in seven days’ time?
(The crowd erupts, as someone starts bolting down the ramp.)
Deadprez: HANS GRAYSON!!! He’s seen enough, he’s not standing for this.
Gavin Kirkland: I got a feeling he isn’t going to be standing at all very soon.
(La Familia doesn’t immediately see him coming, and he then slides under the bottom rope, getting to his feet. Esmeralda screams, Javier turning around just in time to receive a drop kick to the face, knocking him backwards. Hans getting to his feet just in time to meet Diego with a kick to the stomach, dropping him with a swinging neck breaker, cheers replacing the incessant booing.)
Eve: Hans fighting back, the fans are loving this.
Gavin Kirkland: He’s showing the fight that these fans love.
Deadprez: CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL BY ROBERTO!!! Hans never even saw that coming and got turned inside out.
(Javier and Diego get to their feet, Roberto once again conducting proceedings. They hook him under the arms and lift him up.)
Eve: DOUBLE SUPLEX FROM LA FAMILIA! Hans Grayson is done her folks. Plucky attempt but nothing doing, the numbers too much.
Gavin Kirkland: I don’t think so. Roberto picking up the stricken Hans right now, and he has a devious look on his face. He picks him up… OHHHH and hangs him neck first on the top rope.
(Hans rolls around the ring, Diego running across the ring and hitting a baseball slide that sends him out the ring.)
Gavin Kirkland: This still isn’t over.
Deadprez: You’re right… Diego and Javier picking Veena up again.
Eve: SPEAR!!!!
Deadprez: Veena Adams cut in half by that devastating move.
Gavin Kirkland: That was brutal. I’ve never seen Roberto this intense.
Deadprez: I’d like to say it’s because he’s been waiting for his opportunity and wants to make the most of it, but there is no excuse for this.
(Esmeralda grabs a mic from the announce desk, and slides under the bottom rope, passing it to Roberto. Boos continue to fill the arena, but Roberto pays them very little heed. Javier, Diego and Esmeralda stand next to him, as he lifts the mic to speak, almost shouting over the noise.)
Roberto De La Rosa: You boo me? Why? For taking what is mine? Am I supposed to stand blindly waiting for my opportunities, when lesser individuals are seemingly given them without having earned any? I told you; I told you all, way back when I faced the eventual winner of King of Elite, Adam Lucas, that things were going to change around here. I told you, that La Familia were going to take control of their own destiny. This ‘example’ right here, is only a snapshot of what we can do. And there is no one that can stop us.
(Jeers ring out again, Roberto moving his finger as if conducting the orchestra.)
Roberto De La Rosa: Let this scene be etched onto your eyes for all eternity. Because believe me, I have waited too long for this moment, and I will savor every single second at Reasonable Doubt… when I claim the National Elite Championship as my own.
(Esmeralda, having claimed the title belt while Roberto was talking, passes it to him and he holds it aloft, to the biggest noise of the night. Esmeralda puts an arm around him, as Javier and Diego grin out over the crowd.)
Deadprez: Finally, officials are here, just a little too late.
Eve: Perhaps whilst the beatdown was going on…
Gavin Kirkland: At least they are telling them enough is enough.
(The officials usher La Familia out of the ring, and they are happy to leave with their statement made, Roberto though dropping the belt in the middle of the ring, one of the officials picking it up. The camera cuts back to ringside as La Familia walks up the ramp, to Ryan getting to his feet, not having the first clue what has just happened, and then to Veena and Hans who are just coming too. It then pans back to Veena, who looks furious, as the scene then fades.)
( Saturday Night Showdown returns from a commercial break and ‘Heart-Shaped Box’ by Nirvana fills the arena, eliciting a mixed reaction from the crowd. Holly tries to go for a palm strike but Kelton blocks it with a right hand, connects another one across her face and lands one more! Kelton grabs Holly and sends her down towards the ropes. Holly bounces off the ropes, taking Kelton with an Inazuma Leg Lariat!
Eve: Kelton ducks underneath and rolls all the way down to the ropes in front of him, letting Holly crash herself down to the ground. Holly starts coming back, but Kelton looks to take her down right away with a running Canadian Destroyer! Oh no!
Deadprez: HOLLY POPS HIM UP TO THE AIR AND INSTEAD CATCHES KELTON OFF GUARD WITH A ELBOW STRIKE RIGHT ACROSS HIS FACE! Kelton falls from the sky right after the counterattack like a dead bird, and Holly catches him and throws him up to put him into a suplex position, looking for a brainbuster there!
Gavin Kirkland: Kelton manages to notice in time and escapes, landing both feet behind Holly, and pushing her towards the ropes. Holly bounces off the ropes, and Kelton runs up to her. Holly catches Kelton by his wrist and sends him down to the ropes behind her instead.
Deadprez: Kelton bounces off this time, and Holly goes for a Shoot kick, but Kelton jumps over the kick… ROLLING BACK TO HIS FEET AND A RUNNING SINGLE LEG KNEE STRIKE TO THE BACK OF HER HEAD!
Gavin Kirkland: Donovan jumps over the ropes and runs straight from his corner… quickly takes Harper down at the apron to the outside! Harper crashes down to the concrete floor and tries to get back to her feet as soon as possibl- DONOVAN WITH A TOPE CON HILO TAKING HER DOWN RIGHT OFF THE BAT!
Eve: Now in the ring, Kelton is still in control as he keeps kicking and pushing Holly, trying to figure out a way to weaken her down. Kelton picks her back up to her feet and slams her face into the top turnbuckle. He delivers a stomp right into her gut before starting to press it, trying to make Holly feel more pain than ever!
Deadprez: The referee is about to step in to make a count, but Kelton stops and leaves Holly at the corner. He drives his right fist across Holly’s face before grabbing her head and slamming the back of it right into the top turnbuckle once again!

Eve: Kelton starts tossing Holly towards the opposite corner, and she crashes into it. Kelton then starts running and jumps, attacking Holly with his entire body crashing onto her! Deadprez: Harper barely jumps up to the apron and connects with Kelton when he makes it to the second rope, hitting him with a roundhouse kick right in the face from the apron! Gavin Kirkland: Kelton holds his face and tries to capitalize on getting back to his feet. He looks up… HOLLY RUNS IN AT FULL SPEED AND TURNING HIM INSIDE OUT WITH A POWERFUL LARIAT!
Eve: Holly doesn’t pick Kelton back up to his feet after the lariat. Instead, she starts raining down a ton of stomps on him, trying to weaken him after Kelton had been using the turnbuckle to destroy her face.
Deadprez: Oh brother! Holly is going all out at this point, stomping everywhere on Kelton’s body that she possibly can. She’s trying to beat the hell out of him and make sure that he will never underestimate her again!

Deadprez: Donovan enters the ring with determination in his eyes. He quickly picks Holly up and tosses her to the outside, clearing her out of the ring. Donovan goes to the corner, waiting for Harper to reach her feet. Harper struggles to get up, still holding her head and feeling the pain from the previous DDT. Donovan seizes the opportunity and runs past Harper towards the ropes. He bounces off the ropes and hits Harper with a Handspring Stunner!
Gavin Kirkland: Handspring Stunner connects as Holly flies into the air and crashes down to the ground, looking absolutely out by a powerful move from Donovan! Donovan doesn’t go for a cover right away. He kips up to his feet, showing off his agility and strength. Donovan starts hyping up the crowd, gesturing and pointing to fans all around the arena!

Deadprez: Kelton hits the ground hard and rolls underneath the bottom rope to the outside of the ring. He lands near the crowd barricade and grabs onto it to help himself get back to his feet. Kelton takes a moment to compose himself and pick up the pieces after being taken down by Harper’s Hurricanrana…. Eve: Alright, guess I’m doing this myself. WHAT A MATCH! Both teams showcased their true capabilities as a wrestling tag team and managed to create an outstanding match together. This is yet another fantastic tag team match that I’ve witnessed today. Even though the ending of the match was a bit of a letdown, the overall performance was still top-notch! Great job by both teams!

Eve: We all know how Alex Myers must be feeling right now, after the past couple of weeks. The non finishes to the matches against the likes of Jon Kelton and Holly Arrow, found out about the match that they are going to be competing in at Reasonable Doubt for a shot at the Answers World Championship, the attack from Harley Lewis just last week, as well as even the match that they have tomorrow night on Voltage against Drake King!
Deadprez: A lot has been going on for Alex Myers in recent weeks, and I’m sure that they are going to have a whole lot to have to say here tonight ahead of their matches against Drake and the Fatal Five Way elimination match at Reasonable Doubt, but we are going to have to see.
Gavin Kirkland: You know… wait, who is that?
(Alex Myers would suddenly stop at the end of the entrance ramp. They look to the side of them, and they see the same mysterious woman who has been watching them for months in the crowd again. They would just smile with confusion, walking to her..)

(Alex would walk up to her, as she just has a wide smile on her face. She would then extend her hand out to Alex, as Alex takes a moment, looking at her up and down before accepting the hand, and they have a handshake.)

Alex Myers: I know who you are… hi, Willow.
(The woman who is revealed to be known as “Willow Achara” would just smile again, as they let go of their hand. They set their focus back in on the ring, as they would to the ringside area, while Willow would go back to cheering for them. They would roll into the ring, and get handed a microphone as their theme fades out from there.)

Alex Myers: A lot for us to discuss here tonight, isn’t there? I know that the past few weeks haven’t been going the best for me; whether it was the double countout in my match against Jon Kelton, or the time limit draw against Holly Arrow. Each and every opportunity that I have had to get back on the right footing has been shot down in an instance. I am being placed against Drake King on Voltage tomorrow night in a Lobster Deathmatch, and now I even have an opportunity to challenge for the Answers World Championship, competing in the number one contender’s fatal five way elimination match at Reasonable Doubt. There has been a lot going on in recent weeks, and it has honestly been a lot for me to have to go through. Really. But that is okay. I know that I have been having my downs as of late, but it’s only pushing me towards an even bigger high, an even bigger up, and that might just be in the form of a shot at the Answers World Championship by the time that Grand Rampage does in fact come around, and I finally do what I was set out to do since I joined the Showdown brand even at the very beginning of the season.
Alex Myers: I know that last week the match against Holly Arrow didn’t go in the way that I planned for it to, but that doesn’t mean that it is going to be the same exact result at Reasonable Doubt. I may have failed to defeat her once, but I know I won’t fail to defeat her, or anyone else who is placed against me next week, twice. Whether it is Holly Arrow who fought to a time limit draw against me last week, or Jon Kelton in which we fought to a double countout the week before, and even Donovan Duke who beat me at the Christmas show at the end of last year. There are a lot of people in this match who I need to prove myself against if I want to even prove that I have what it takes to be able to challenge for the Answers World Championship, let alone win it. But then, oh then, there is someone who is looking to… it seems like, prove himself against me?

Alex Myers: That man; is Harley Lewis.

(Alex would giggle from the reaction that was given by the crowd once Alex had mentioned Harley’s name. They fidget with the microphone in their hand, looking into the camera with a faint smirk painted on their face as they lift their head back up.)
Alex Myers: I know, I know… Harley Lewis, well, he isn’t that kind of guy who is very likable. It seems that in recent months, he has had a complete change in attitude from the last time that we faced all the way back on Dynasty around a year ago. And it appears now, that he wants to prove himself, and he wants to do it against someone who he looks at to be on top of the food chain on Showdown, and that is… me? Now, I don’t really understand what his whole deal with me is. I don’t know if it is because of the fact I acted like he didn’t exist for nearly a whole year, or because of the fact that he sees the good in me and he wants to be the evil to my good, but whatever it is, the way that he acted out last week on Showdown wasn’t the best of decisions, especially when it is to me-

(From there, Alex would get cut off, as all they hear is a loud overdramatic and exhausting laugh throughout the speakers. The crowd starts to boo even louder, as they see Harley Lewis in the crowd, making his way towards the ringside area, laughing into a microphone.)

Harley Lewis: Oh Alex, you kill me! You really do!
(He would jump over the barricade, before climbing up onto the apron, where he would enter into the ring and immediately get up close to Alex, getting into their personal space which forces Alex to back away into the ropes. Harley is clearly psychotic.)
Harley Lewis: Alex. YOU’RE SPOT ON! That’s EXACTLY why I am targeting YOU! Because I DO want to prove myself against you! I AM targeting you because of what you did to me close to a year ago, and I AM targeting you… because where there is good, there is evil. You are good, Alex. You are a Guardian Angel to all, and you’re helping people become the very best versions of themselves. And that is disgusting. That is absolutely disgusting. You are anything but a good person, but that is besides the point. The point is; a hero? Always needs a villain. And Alex… may I be your villain?

(The security would run into the ring, as they begin to pull Alex Myers and Harley Lewis off of each other, while they are trying to get away from them to continue the fight. Eventually it is too much for them, as the security would begin to separate them, before pulling them different ways up the ramp, and the camera would fade elsewhere from there.)

Deadprez: Here comes our Champion! Seems like he is looking to scout his competition. Is he going to be a wildcard tonight?
( ‘Blue World’ by Mac Miller blares over the sound system as Jack Ripley emerges on stage to a chorus of boos. Jack completely ignores the crowd and Jack seems unfazed by their jeers as he makes his way to the ring with a confident strut. )
Gina Romano: INTRODUCING FIRST!!! From Las Vegas, Nevada! Weighing in at 205 pounds! He is the Straight Shooter! JACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK RIPLEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!
Deadprez: Heading into what is going to be a total war against Ms. Extreme at Reasonable Doubt, Jack will be looking to score a big win against one of the best to ever do it.
Gavin Kirkland: The last time Jack was in the ring, he emerged victorious against young Hans Grayson. He did it with a dirty roll-up, his feet were on the second ropes, but you know what they say: A Win Is A Win.
(‘Invincible’ by Pop Smoke plays over the sound system of First Interstate Arena and the crowd cheers as Chris Elite goes through the curtain and makes his way to the ring with a grin on his face. )
Bella Braxton: AAAAAAAND HIS OPPONENT! From Brooklyn, New York! Weighing in at 210 pounds. He Is Gawd Given Greatness: CHRIIIIIIIIIS ELIIIIIIIIIIIIITE!!!!!!!
Deadprez: Here comes Himothy! This is Chris’ first singles match since October of last year and he surely will be looking to score a win in order to gain momentum ahead of the World Title match coming up at Reasonable Doubt!
Gavin Kirkland: He’ll be looking to shake off losing to the team of Xander Payne and Ryan Joseph Wilson as well! Impact managed to have Chris believe Jake attacked him but tonight like you said it’s all about momentum.
( Ding! Ding! Ding! )
Deadprez: AND HERE WE GO! This match is officially underway! This match is going to be grand ladies and gentlemen as it opposes two incredible athletes, two former World Champions, and two who will have no issues in beating the absolute snot out of each other in order to leave this match with the win!
Gavin Kirkland: Both are slowly moving towards one another inside the ring mouthing off to one another as they now are forehead against forehead and the argument becomes heated between both men! There’s no love loss here tonight between these two for sure! Quick clinch between the two and Chris manoeuvers himself behind Jack with a wristlock gaining advantage early in the match!
Eve: Jack reverses the hold now standing behind Elite with a wristlock of his own. Chris tests the waters before parkour rolling and manages to gain the upper hand versus Ripley. Some joint manipulation is performed here and Jack rolls as well left and then to the right before regaining the edge with the wristlock he forces Chris to his knees but Elite gets up soon after.
Deadprez: Standing backflip from Chris as he then goes once more for a wrist lock but Jack pushes him against the ropes forcing the official to get Elite to break the hold which he does and moves his hands to the side. Jack slowly makes a gap between him and Chris before suddenly grabbing an arm and whipping him into the opposite ropes! Elite with speed goes in Jack’s direction who bends forward telegraphing a move AND ELITE ROLLS OVER JACK’S BACK!
Gavin Kirkland: Ripley quickly turns going for a clothesline but Elite rolls under it! Jack tries to strike at Chris who evades with a front flip! JACK WITH THE YOU’LL FLOAT TOO SUPERKICK BUT CHRIS DUCKS BY BACKPEDALING INTO A CORNER! Woah that was close folks! Jack was inches away from ending that match in a hurry!
Eve: Luckily for Chris, he has insane reflexes which allowed him to evade Jack’s lethal kick which he used to put so many opponents away over the years! This match could’ve been done in a flash folks and Jack knows it which annoys Chris a bit and it shows.
Deadprez: Jack moves to the center of the ring and Chris follows soon after the referee told him to get back in the fight. He goes to clinch but Jack ducks and goes for a waist lock, Chris reverses it but Jack gains the edge again through a headlock. Both men to the ropes now bouncing off of them but Jack goes to a knee keeping Elite grounded as he knows the man well!
Eve: Chris Elite is a human highlight reel on his best day! Jack will want to keep him under control hence we might see something spectacular tonight!
Gavin Kirkland: How can we see something spectacular from him when he lost last week to Ryan Joseph Wilson and Xander Payne?
Eve: He wasn’t the one getting pinned for that loss you know.
Jake Smith: I’m not the one who attacked him from behind either!
Chris Elite: Zip it, Jake!!
Jack Ripley: Shut the fuck up, both of you.
Gavin Kirkland: Less talking more wrestling fellas! Jack is holding Chris’ head tightly under his arm he’s almost seated on the mat while Elite is trying to get out of that move. Both men now move to their feet with Elite trying to pry the arm away from his face all of this under the watchful gaze of the World Champion standing at ringside.
Eve: Both men now struggling to get the upper hand, Elite almost manages to take things under control but Jack goes back in control and sends Chris to his knees once again.
Deadprez: Elite getting up moves behind Jack and forces him to his knees with a boot behind the knee but it doesn’t keep Ripley down for long. Elite with an Irish whip to a corner reversed, sending Elite there in his stead but Elite hops expecting Jack to be following right behind him AND JACK CLOTHESLINES CHRIS FROM BEHIND!
Gavin Kirkland: Elite smacks his head on the top turnbuckle and backs away from it and right into Jack’s arm going into a headlock once again! Both of them to the ropes now Chris bounces to the opposite one heading toward Jack WHO SHOULDER BLOCKS HIM! Down goes Elite.
Eve: Jack goes to Chris who moved up quickly then whips him again in the ropes. Ripley hits the deck and Chris hops over him, into the ropes again Jack jumps in the ai-
Deadprez: JACK IS DROPKICKED TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE RING! And he looks to be calling it a day. Turning his back to Chris who’s running to the ropes AND HOPS OVER THE TOP ROPE WOOOAAAAHHHH HE LANDED BETWEEN JACK AND THE RAMP HEADING TO THE STAGE AND IS STANDING RIGHT in INFRONT IF RIPLEY WHO’S STUNNED! WHAT AGILITY AND AIRTIME BY CHRIS ELITE!!
Gavin Kirkland: Jack slowly steps backward as Elite moves forward, Ripley ends up rolling inside the ring with Elite sliding in quickly AND JACK DROPS BOTH KNEES TO CHRIS WHO WAS ON HIS STOMACH! Knees after knees from Jack before moving over Elite’s back AND DEADLIFT GERMAN SUPLEX THE MAN TO THE CENTER OF THE RING!
Eve: Chris Elite is moving to get up to his feet as quickly as he can but he gets greeted back to a vertical base with a harsh slew of chops to the chest followed by a few kicks to the knees and shin! Ripley looking it seems to reduce his opponent’s mobility which could be a great advantage for him knowing how Chris operated!
Deadprez: Jack with a standing dropkick sends Elite against the nearby corner and Ripley goes to the offensive once again stomping a mudhole in his opponent and walking it dry before hoisting Chris and sitting him on the top turnbuckle AND THEN CLIMB THE SECOND ROPE AND bringing ELITE DOWN WITH A HURRICANRANA!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: Chris stays on the ground for a longer period of time now, holding his back Jack awaits him standing behind the man AND CHRIS SUDDENLY ATTEMPTS A PELE KICK BUT JACKS EVADES THE MOVE! He kicks Elite in the gut AND TAKES HIM DOWN WITH AN ARM DRAG! RIPLEY NOW TRYING TO LOCK IN AN ARMBAR BUT ELITE IS PRYING HIS HAND AWAY!!
Eve: RIPLEY MANAGES TO LOCK THE ARMBAR IN BUT ELITE GOT A FOOT ON THE ROPE! He just saved himself from a potential loss and Jack is forced to drop the hold. Jack moves away from Elite for a quick second, just enough time to allow Chris to get back up and try to strike at Jack WHO GRABS HIM WITH A BELLY-To-BELLY SUPLEX!!! DOWN GOES CHRIS!!
Deadprez: Elite to his knees now moving upward and on his feet looking for Jake and he gets greeted by a boot to the midsection FOLLOWED BY A DDT!!! CHRIS’ HEAD GETS PLANTED IN THE MAT! RIPLEY GOES FOR THE COVER!

Deadprez: And Elite lifts the shoulder up! Ripley gets the first pinfall attempt of the match and this has been a good one thus far! Elite is moving to his feet but is downed to his knees by Ripley with a strike behind the knees! Jack moves to the side of Chris and begins to throw some heavy kicks to the chest of his opponent much to the boos of the crowd!
Gavin Kirkland: They don’t see a quality wrestler when one is right under their noses! Look at Jake Smith to the outside of the ring he seems pleased by the beating Jack is making Chris suffer through! Chris looks dazed now unable to fend off the kicks and taking the brunt of them as Jack then suddenly charges to the ropes AND RAMS INTO CHRIS WITH BOTH HIS KNEES!!!
Eve: Chris appears to be in trouble now and Jack is looking to force more punishment upon his rival tonight as he moves to the nearest corner and stands on the top of the ropes. What will Jack do? A MOONSAULT FROM THE TOP ROPE LANDING PERFECTLY AGAINST CHRIS ELITE!! Jake Smith applauds this manoeuver, the Champion sure seems to be having a good time watching his former partner getting beaten by a former World Champion.
Deadprez: And here goes Chris rolling outside of the ring trying to get a breather and some time to recover from the attacks from Jack AND CHRIS END UP STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF JAKE!! Both men are staring holes into one another and the intensity in their eyes and overall body expression grows by the second!

Deadprez: Chris Elite is on the attack now throwing at Jack some Dickeatery stopper, those uppercuts look like Mike Tyson himself is delivering them and they send Ripley to the ropes. He sends him bouncing against them with an Irish whip AND THEN NAILS JACK WITH AN ATOPIC DROP!! Ripley is to his knees holding his groin now!
Gavin Kirkland: Jake Smith looking on from ringside as Chris stares at him for a moment before going through the Five Borough Combo WHILE LOOKING AT SMITH THE WHOLE TIME!! Two punches! Then a shoot kick! Then a back fist FINISHED WITH A LARIAT! RIPLEY IS DOWN! And Chris goes to the ropes for a moment looking down at Jake while the crowd boos!
Eve: Both Chris and Jake are starting to argue while Jack is moving to his feet, he clocks Chris behind the head with a double ax handle and whips him into the ropes. Ripley with a missed clothesline attempt as Elite ducks low gets up, AND TURNS INTO A PÉLÉ KICK!! HE CALLS IT THE HEADSHOT! Ripley to his back before moving to his knees AND GETS BITCH SLAPPED FROM BEHIND BY ELITE WHO’S FOUL MOUTHING HIM!
Deadprez: AND THEN A GERMAN SUPLEX FROM ELITE! HE FOLLOWS UP WITH A SECOND! AND A THIRD!! BEFORE JACK COULD MOVE FOLLOWING THE INSULTING SLAPS! Ripley is now on his back holding the back of his neck AS CHRIS GOES TO THE ROPES SPRINGBOARDING HIMSELF INTO A LEGDROP!
Gavin Kirkland: Jack now holding his chest while laying down on his back and Chris doesn’t appear to be done! He goes to a nearby corner hops quickly to the top rope AND LANDS A FROG SPLASH THAT WAS PERFECTLY EXECUTED!!

Deadprez: Chris showing his agility and wrestling prowess he doesn’t seem like he missed a beat since he left back in October! To the opposite corner, he goes before charging at Jack WITH A LEAPING EUROPEAN UPPERCUT!
Gavin Kirkland: A HEADBUTT TO JAKE SITS HIM ON THE CORNER AS CHRIS BEGINS TO STOMP A MUDHOLE IN THE STRAIGHT SHOOTER AND WALK IT DRY!! Clearly, he’s sending yet another message to Jake Smith ahead of their match with Impact at Reasonable Doubt.
Eve: Jack is seated against the corner and Elite quickly goes to the opposite corner before running towards Jack AND HAWK’EM!! THE DOUBLE KNEE INTO JACK’S CHEST THAT ONE WILL HURT!! Chris with a few kicks to the chest as well once he gets to his feet before moving Jack up. Ripley’s wobbling on his feet BUT THEN GOES THROUGH CHRIS’ MOOD SWING!! Deadprez: Chris isn’t impressed as he goes half-mounted to Jack and throws close fist punches on his forehead until the official orders him to stop which he goes but not before landing at least five or six shots at Ripley. To the ropes, he goes before going for a knee drop to Jack’s ribs followed by a leg drop and then a quick elbow drop!
Gavin Kirkland: Chris not going easy on the attack right now as he picks Jack up and send him to the ropes TAKING HIM DOWN WITH A DROPKICK! Kip-up from Chris moves quickly to force Jack to his feet once again not wanting to give the man a moment to recover as he throws him into the ropes AND PLOWS HIM DOWN WITH A SIT OUT POWERBOMB!!
Eve: But Chris doesn’t go for a cover right now, he picks up Jack and rams his face into the second turnbuckle of a corner! Jack is on his knees his face laying on the cushion BUT HE GETS A FACE FULL OF CHRIS’ BOOTS AS HE GOES FOR A TIGER FEINT KICK BETWEEN THE ROPES!! JACK ENDS UP ON HIS BACK CLOSER TO THE CENTER OF THE RING! He’s moving to get up to his feet BUT IS TAKEN DOWN BY CHRIS WITH A SPRINGBOARD EUROPEAN UPPERCUT!
Deadprez: Chris brings Jack over to his shoulders with a fireman’s carry but Jack slips behind him holding him by the waist. OH! Hard elbow to the side of the face by Chris sending Jack to a corner. Chris turns and dashes towards Jack’s head butting him in the stomach before going on the outside apron AND THROW A PELE KICK TO THE BACK OF RIPLEY’S HEAD! Jack ends down on his back as Chris hops over the ropes and inside the ring. Hops on the second ropes AND MOONSAULT HIS WAY ONTO JACK!
Gavin Kirkland: Chris moves to his feet with hast AND FLIPS INTO A STANDING SHOOTING STAR PRESS ON JACK!! Chris gets up to his feet once more looking down at Jake for a second before jumping on the ropes AND PERFORM A PHOENIX SPLASH!! COVER BY CHRIS!!

Eve: Jack denies him the win with a shoulder up!! Chris thought he had the match won as he looks up at the referee who confirms the two counts.
Deadprez: Chris just threw a few elbows to the face of Jack who’s laying on the floor before forcing him to his feet. Ripley is staggering on both feet as Chris then dashes to the ropes springboarding himself into the Ellie Cu-JACK JUMPED WITH BOTH KNEES UP AND INTO A BACKBREAKER!! ONE SIGNATURE MOVE IS COUNTERED BY ANOTHER BY JACK WHO ATTEMPTS A COVER!!

Gavin Kirkland: Jack looks irate right now staring daggers toward the official who’s only doing his job! Jack punches down Chris a few times before getting to his feet and moving to a corner. He’s calling for You’ll Float Too! He wants to end this match right now! He’s stomping at the ring mat, yelling at Chris to get to his feet and he’s slow at it. Chris can taste the victory now, wait why is the crowd cheering?
Eve: HEY WAIT for A MINUTE LOOK WHO’S RUNNING DOWN THE RAMP!!!
Deadprez: IT’S CAMILLE!!! MS. EXTREME IS RUSHING INSIDE THE RING LOOKING FOR TROUBLE AGAINST JACK RIPLEY AND THE TWO ARE STARTING TO THROW DOWN!!!
Gavin Kirkland: AND LOOK ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RING!! JAKE JUST DRAGGED CHRIS BY THE BOOTS TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE RING AND THEY ARE FIGHTING EACH OTHER!!! THE OFFICiAL IS TRYING TO GAIN CONTROL OF THE MATCH AND TRIES TO SEPARATE CHRIS AND JAKE FROM EACH OTHER FIRST!!

Deadprez: THE OFFICIAL JUST CALLED OFF THE MATCH WITH ALL THE CHAOS THAT’S HAPPENING INSIDE OF THE RING!!! CHRIS AND JAKE ARE GOING AT EACH OTHERS THROAT LIKE RABID DOGS WHILE JACK AND CAMILLE ARE TRYING TO DESTROY EACH OTHER AHEAD OF REASONABLE DOUBT!!
Gavin Kirkland: OFFICIALS ARE POURING IN FROM THE BACK TO TRY AND SEPARATE EVERYBODY BUT THEY APPEAR TO BE STRUGGLING! If they are warring like this right now, what can we expect at Reasonable Doubt?
( Final shot of this match is of officials barely managing to keep everyone involved away from one another as the scene transitions into a commercial break. )
(After the commercial break, there is a chaotic scene backstage as referees and officials are trying to restrain Ms. Extreme after she barreled down to the ring and attacked Jack Ripley while Jake Smith and Chris Elite were going at it as well, ruining a great match and it was pretty obvious that she was going to do everything within her power to stick it right back at Kennedy Street, the General Manager of Showdown. As the referees and officials start to finally get a hold of Ms. Extreme who is getting closer and closer to the door of Kennedy Street, inside she is entertaining Montana’s higher ups, there are high ranking level officials all in Cowboy hats, even Kennedy is wearing one too when she swings the door open and sees Ms. Extreme being held back.)
Kennedy Street: You will never learn, will you honey? We are in Yellowstone Country Camille…. Behave, you are giving me premature wrinkles honey.
Ms. Extreme: Keep sticking in your nose in my business and I will tear it from your face!
(The Sexy Flawless General Manager is assessing the situation right now, trying to come up with the perfect solution to this, though she sees that Camilla Jane Ava is going to be a lot harder to handle than originally thought, but she still doesn’t care, showing off her authority.)
Kennedy Street: That doesn’t sound pleasant, but as you can see, I have Montana’s finest here with me, Kennie feels like she is in an episode of Yellowstone. Anyway, again you’re getting thrown out of the building and not allowed back in because you cannot behave. Every single week it is the same thing with you and know what? Kennie could have sued you for attacking me! Trust me, if it wasn’t for legal and that contract you signed with Hurricane Hawk, you would be gone!
(Ms. Extreme again tries to lunge at her but she is restrained…)
Ms. Extreme: Why don’t you tell your lap dogs to let me go and we can see just how tough you are, Kennedy!
(Kennedy looks around and laughs.)
Kennedy Street: You really want a match with me, don’t you, honey? Guess what, it will NEVER happen and here is why, I AM THE BOSS around here, NOT YOU. You’re just upset because there is nothing that you can do about it. Kennie has the power, not Camille. See, in the grand scheme of things, you’re just another spoke in the tire. You’re not important Camille to Showdown’s big picture, all you are is weeds in the beautiful lawn of my promotion. This is both ridiculous and degrading, Camille. It is not a good look for anyone.
Ms. Extreme: Is that why you keep getting involved in my business!
(Ms. Extreme again tries to lunge at Kennedy who steps back a little, but is not impressed. She takes a second to stay calm and really poke her more.)
Kennedy Street: Your business or what is BEST for business? What happened at King of Elite was simple, the STREET fight, get it? STREET fight was what was best for business, it isn’t my fault if Kassidy Heart beat you in what is supposed to be your realm! See, Camille… that is why you and Jack are wrestling in a No Holds Barred Match, because you are a FRAUD! Kassidy did it, Jack will do it and then hopefully you will smarten up and get the HELL OUT OF MY BRAND, honey!
(A fired up Kennedy stands there face to face with a restrained Ms. Extreme who is seething and trying to get at her.)
Kennedy Street: You really want to beat me up, don’t you?
Ms. Extreme: You have no idea!
Kennedy Street: Do you want to know what the best part of all this is? Kennie controls you. Here Adam Lucas was playing the rebel, but even he knew the limits, but you don’t, so obsessed in destroying Disney that it has consumed you, not even thinking straight and attacking me at every turn. I changed that match at King of Elite because that is what the fans want to see, even after you disrespected me earlier in the night. Don’t you get it, Camille? YOU CAN’T WIN!
(Almost getting free, Ms. Extreme tried to break away from the grip before she was then pulled back.)
Ms. Extreme: BULL[BLEEP]! Right now! You and me! I can see what you are trying to do Kennedy! How you are manipulating everything that you can get your hands on! Now you’re going to be calling color commentary during my match at Reasonable Doubt just seems a little convenient doesn’t it!? Let me warn you right now, Kennedy! I will do whatever it takes to put Jack Ripley down and then…. I AM COMING FOR YOU!
(Clearing her throat, Kennedy gets right up to her face and smiles.)
Kennedy Street: You can’t touch me, bitch. Kennedy Street is the boss. Now, what Kennie suggest is that you go back to your hotel room, take a hot bath, get all cleaned up and perky, order some room service, Kennie hears the Buffalo burgers here are really good, thanks to my guys here who told me, because guess what, while you are in that room contemplating life and wondering what will happen if you continue on this path and force my hand? Kennie is going to be playing the part of Beth Dutton on the Yellowstone Ranch living life in POWER.
Ms. Extreme: I swear if it is the last thing I do…. I’m going to take you down.
Kennedy Street: Kennie welcomes you to try. Now take her away!
(Ms. Extreme tries one last time to break free but to no avail as they drag her away. Kennedy then turns to her guests and escorts them back into her office. She turns back one more time to watch them drag Ms. Extreme away, as she cracks a sheepish grin and slowly closes the door behind her as it cuts to the last commercial break.)
(The camera returns to ringside after the commercial break at the commentary table where Deadprez, Eve, and Gavin are ready to call the action for tonight’s final contest.)
Deadprez: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to Saturday Night Showdown. Before we start the introductions for tonight’s main event, allow me to welcome our special guest commentator for this match. He is the 2023 King of Elite. He is Adam Lucas.
(The camera shot widens to show Adam sitting at the broadcast table with a headset on ready to go.)
Adam Lucas: Thank you for having me. It’s a pleasure to be here.
Eve: Thank you for joining us for this match. I can’t wait to hear your input about this next match and its competitors.
Adam Lucas: I am more than happy to help out with that. I have been in the ring with both of them so I’m more than able to give my input.
Gavin Kirkland: I bet you will have a lot to say about one of the competitors in particular. Let’s not waste anymore time. Let’s go to Gina Romano for the introductions of tonight’s main event.
(The camera shot transitions to Gina Romano, who is standing in the middle of the ring ready to start the introductions.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen, this contest has TV TIME REMAINING and is scheduled for ONE FALL!!

(‘Partition (Smearcase Trap Remix)’ by Beyoncé starts to play throughout the arena as Kassidy Heart enters. There are loud boos resonating from the crowd, but she is paying them no mind as the camera travels up her figure and stops at all the right places before she heads to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Introducing first! She is from Sydney, Australia. Weighing in at 141 pounds. Here is “THE MAULER” KASSIDY HEART!
Deadprez: Here comes the person who has given you plenty of trouble the last few weeks and the competitor you will be facing at Reasonable Doubt next week in the Clash of Kings match. Kassidy Heart.
Adam Lucas: On a personal level, the disdain I have for her is obvious and I made it clear. On a professional level, you can’t deny her talent. I am more than ready to show her what I’ve got next week.
Eve: I wanted to also go ahead and say that we are about to bear witness to a FIRST TIME EVER singles contest. This is the first time ever that Kassidy Heart and Xander Payne will be going one on one. Regardless of both of their Hall of Fame statuses, we can expect The Mauler to take no prisoners.
Gavin Kirkland: Kassidy wants to build some momentum towards Reasonable Doubt. She also knows Adam is here at ringside, so she might be inclined to use Xander as an example of what Adam will experience. But Xander isn’t going to let her dominate so easily.
(Kassidy enters the ring and removes her infamous Kassible Lecter mask and carefully places it in her corner as her entrance music fades off. Seconds later, “It Follows” by Cane Hill starts playing as Xander Payne enters the arena with Ryan Joseph Wilson following behind. The crowd starts to boo once again as Xander heads to the ring.)
Gina Romano: Introducing her opponent! He is accompanied to the ring by Ryan Joseph Wilson. From Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Weighing in at 255 pounds. Here is “THE BEST WRESTLER IN THE WORLD” XANDER PAYNE!
Gavin Kirkland: Here comes the opposition flanked by his tag team partner. Last week, this team picked up a huge victory by defeating Chris Elite and the Answers World Champion, Jake Smith.
Adam Lucas: Regardless of what went on, they didn’t have to rely on cheap tactics to win that match. Xander is just as good in the ring even though his attitude leaves little to be desired. This is going to be an interesting match.
Eve: It certainly will be. Tonight, Xander would love to get another victory over another former World Champion in Kassidy Heart. He and Ryan have their eyes on Soul Food Sunday and the Unified Tag Titles, so a win here would send momentum through the roof.
Deadprez: Remember it was two years ago at King of Elite that Kassidy Heart won the tournament which included Xander Payne in the final round. Will Kassidy make it another win for her or will Xander snap the streak? We are about to find out.
(Xander enters the ring and Ryan takes his place at ringside as Xander’s music stops playing. The two competitors are just stoically looking at each other as the referee checks both competitors before they call for the bell.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Deadprez: Here we go! Main event is underway! Who is going to get the honor of winning this first time ever singles match? We are about to find out as Kass and Xander lock up in the center of the ring trying to get the early advantage in this match.
Gavin Kirkland: It looks like Xander is going to use his size advantage early as he gets a side headlock on Kass and is wrenching on Kass’ neck before he transitions into a hammerlock. Nice technical wrestling early o–
Eve: You spoke too soon. After Xander transitioned into the hammerlock, he just SHOVES KASSIDY AND SENDS HER TO HER KNEES! You can see that Kassidy doesn’t like that treatment one bit.
Adam Lucas: That’s not the best way to get on her good side… if she has one. It’s going to take more than just cheap tricks to defeat Kassidy or Xander for that matter. Even though both of their attitudes suck.
Gavin Kirkland: It’s easy to see that neither of these competitors will be voted most popular in EAW, but everyone would probably guarantee that these two are some of the most ferocious competitors in EAW today.
Deadprez: Kassidy is back to her feet and she gets right in Xander’s face and Xander just has a smirk on his face knowing that he immediately got under Kassidy’s skin. They have a moment of words before KASSIDY JUST CLOCKS XANDER WITH A RIGHT HOOK IN THE FACE!
Eve: That shot caught him in the jaw and Kass looks pleased, but Xander does NOT! Xander comes back AND XANDER WITH A STIFF FOREARM SMASH CATCHING KASSIDY IN THE FACE! Kass rocked back a bit with that shot.
Adam Lucas: I’ve been in the ring with both of them and they are some of the toughest people I’ve been in the ring with professionally. Personally, I don’t care for either of them, but that’s not the point. These two are going to go at it. No doubt about it.
Deadprez: Kass gets right back and CLOCKS XANDER WITH ANOTHER RIGHT HOOK! The tempers are going to flare early in this match. We knew it was going to happen, but not this soon. Xander holds his jaw after that second punch to the face and goes right back to Kass–
Eve: XANDER JUST SLAPS KASSIDY IN THE FACE! That was a mistake. That won’t hurt Kassidy, but if you look at Kassidy right now, all it did was fire her up. Kassidy turns back and looks at Xander BEFORE RUNNING FULL SPEED TOWARDS XANDER!
Gavin Kirkland: DOUBLE LEG TAKEDOWN BY KASSIDY AND SHE USES THE MOMENTUM TO TAKE XANDER DOWN TO THE MAT! KASSIDY HAS MOUNTED XANDER AND SHE IS THROWING FIST AFTER FIST INTO XANDER’S SKULL AS THE REFEREE ADMONISHES KASS!
Adam Lucas: Kassidy has one of the longest resumes but one of the shortest tempers. I’ve got experience with that and now Xander does too. Reasonable Doubt is going to be a fight to say the least, but it will be great to slay The Mauler.
Deadprez: That’s going to be a great match, but with this match, Kassidy opens the fist at four before risking disqualification. Kassidy gets off of Xander and just starts kicking the crap out of Xander laying the boots to him.
Gavin Kirkland: Xander rolls over to the ropes and the ref bravely steps in between the two and Kass just glares at the referee. Kass goes back to Xander WHO CATCHES KASS RIGHT IN THE FOREHEAD WITH A HEADBUTT! WHAT A SHOT!
Eve: Kass is dazed as Xander gets back in the ring AND HE FIRES OFF AN OPEN HAND CHOP TO HER CHEST! DID YOU HEAR THAT? I DID AND KASS DEFINITELY FELT IT!
Gavin Kirkland: The fans up in the nosebleed seats could have heard that chop. You can already see a handprint forming as Xander whips Kassidy into the corner. Kassidy lands in the turnbuckles AND XANDER FIRES OFF ANOTHER CHOP TO KASSIDY’S CHEST! GOOD GRIEF!
Adam Lucas: These two are former World Champions so you know that they aren’t going to pull punches with the other much less ANYBODY. If I know these two as well as anybody else does, this is just the beginning for these two.
Deadprez: Kassidy doing everything she can to not show any reaction after that last chop, but Xander doesn’t care. He pulls Kass back up AND CHOPS KASS ACROSS THE CHEST AGAIN! AND AGAIN! AND AGAIN! AND AGAIN!
Eve: Kass might need to stop by her plastic surgeon before Reasonable Doubt at this rate. Something had to have been knocked loose or popped with those chest chops. Anyways, Xander grabs Kass by the wrist and pulls her out of the corner AND CLOBBERS HER WITH A CLOTHESLINE!
Deadprez: The back of Kass’ head smacked against the middle turnbuckle and now Kass is sitting in the corner as Xander is in firm control with Ryan Joseph Wilson cheering in approval.
Adam Lucas: So far this match has been pretty good so far. These two would rather die than let the other win or give up. They are going to be throwing everything they have at each other in this match.
Eve: Xander eyes Kass who is still sitting in the corner before he starts backing up. Xander looks to end this match early AS HE RUNS FULL SPEED INTO THE CORNER! HEATWAVE BY XANDER PAYNE!
Gavin Kirkland: HEATWAVE WAS A BUST! KASS ROLLS AWAY AT THE LAST SECOND! XANDER PAYNE CRASHES AND BURNS INTO THE CORNER AND ALMOST LANDS ON HIS HEAD!
Deadprez: You would have to think that if Xander would have hit that cannonball in the corner but now Kass has a chance to get back into the match. Of course we know that she is going to take control of this match right… about… NOW!
Gavin Kirkland: You couldn’t have timed it any better, Prezzy. Kass is back up to her feet and she backs up enough to DELIVER A BASEMENT DROPKICK THAT SENDS XANDER ONTO THE APRON! He is still on the apron, but Kassidy is going to go back to the well once again.
Adam Lucas: Xander isn’t exactly the easiest man to move because of how well he uses his size, but Kassidy is no slouch in the power department. Even though she is a slouch in the attitude department.
Eve: Good point, but Kassidy backs up enough to gain some extra momentum BEFORE RUNNING FULL SPEED AND CATCHING XANDER WITH A BASEBALL SLIDE DROPKICK THAT SENDS XANDER OFF THE APRON AND TO THE FLOOR!
Gavin Kirkland: Great follow up by Kassidy as Xander tries to get back to his feet on the floor. He finally does, BUT HE DOESN’T SEE KASSIDY DIVING THROUGH THE ROPES AND TAKING XANDER BACK DOWN TO THE FLOOR WITH A SUICIDE DIVE!
Deadprez: Kassidy Heart really is an all around competitor. She can brawl, she can get technical, and she can fly. That arsenal has won her numerous matches and numerous titles throughout her illustrious career.
Adam Lucas: That’s why she got her spot in the EAW Hall of Fame and why she is a former King of Elite. But she is going to learn that no matter how good she is, I am the King of Elite now and that’s going to be something she will accept next week. One way or another.
Eve: Right now, Xander is still on the ground and KASSIDY IS CLIMBING UP ON THE BARRICADE! What in the world is going through her multifaceted mind? Nothing good. That part is obvious.
Deadprez: Kass finds her foot and her balance on the barricade as she walks over a few feet closer to Xander AS SHE JUMPS OFF THE BARRICADE AND HITS XANDER WITH A SHOOTING STAR PRESS! BEAUTIFUL MOVE FROM THE MAULER!
Eve: The referee is still counting as Kassidy Heart drags Xander back to his feet and lobs his carcass back into the ring before quickly following to break the count. Kass rolls Xander into the center of the ring before dropping an elbow in his breadbasket for good measure.
Adam Lucas: She’s crazy, but she’s a very methodical competitor. I can be a big enough person to admit that. Every move she does cleanly flows right into the next one, but methodical goes both ways.
Gavin Kirkland: Kass eyes the ropes once again before running AND JUMPING ONTO THE SECOND ROPE BEFORE CATCHING XANDER A SPRINGBOARD MOONSAULT! THAT WAS ALMOST A MODIFIED LIONSAULT.
Deadprez: Xander caught all of it right into the ribs and lungs as Kassidy hooks the leg for the cover. Will this be enough right here?

Gavin Kirkland: XANDER KICKS OUT AT TWO! It is hard to believe that that was only the first cover of the match. These two have been going at it and we have a front row seat for a singles match that many people have been dreaming about.
Eve: Xander and Kass one on one could main event any FPV on the EAW schedule and getting it on Showdown is an amazing opportunity. Kass has been in control for a good amount of time now and she is not going to freely let it go.
Adam Lucas: It’s a great opportunity to see two of EAW’s best battle it out for in ring superiority, but these two do have some big egos sometimes. So we will probably not hear the end of it from whoever wins.
Gavin Kirkland: Kass brings Xander back to his feet AND SHE IS BEGINNING HER BOXING PRACTICE AND XANDER IS THE PUNCHING BAG OF THE WEEK! LOOK AT THOSE JABS AND PUNCHES BEING FIRED INTO XANDER’S FACE AND BODY!
Deadprez: Xander is in Lala Land and could fall at any time, SO KASS FIRES OFF A KICK TO XANDER’S HEAD, BUT XANDER DUCKS THE KICK AND KASS SPINS OUT! When she comes back around, Xander grabs her head AND DROPS INTO A JAWBREAKER COUNTER!
Eve: Kass was staggered for a second AND XANDER GOES FOR A CLOTHESLINE BUT KASS DUCKS IT! Xander stops in his tracks and quickly turns around TO FIRE A KICK, BUT KASS CAUGHT THE LEG!
Adam Lucas: Xander is bouncing around in a huge mess of trouble because I recognize that look in Kass’ eyes. She is starting to lose her temper. At Reasonable Doubt, that look is going to be there the entire match with me. That is almost a guarantee.
Deadprez: As Adam said, Xander is hopping around trying to think of a way to get free and Kassidy looks ready to knock him out, BUT XANDER CATCHES KASS IN THE SIDE OF THE HEAD WITH AN ENZUIGIRI! Kass did NOT see that coming.
Eve: Kass knocked a little loopy as Xander hits the ropes AND FIRES OFF A SHOTGUN DROPKICK SENDING KASS BOUNCING INTO THE OPPOSITE ROPES AND CRASHING TO THE MAT!
Gavin Kirkland: Xander drags Kass over to the center of the ring before once again hitting the ropes. Xander comes back AND CRUSHES KASS WITH A JUMPING SEATED SENTON! THAT’S 355 POUNDS ON KASSIDY’S CHEST!
Adam Lucas: That’s one of Xander’s more dangerous moves, but I don’t think that Xander is that heavy even though people make a bunch of jokes at his expense, including Kassidy herself. But Xander does know how to use his size to his advantage against any opponent.
Deadprez: GAVIN! Xander is 255 pounds. Don’t be mean, but there was some force and power behind the senton as Xander crawls over to Kassidy, who hasn’t moved after that senton and he goes for the cover!

Gavin Kirkland: WITH AUTHORITY, KASSIDY KICKS OUT AFTER TWO! These two have not held back in this match and it has provided for an amazing match so far.
Eve: Kassidy isn’t moving right now and Xander brings her back to her feet. Xander whips her to the corner AND QUICKLY FOLLOWS AT FULL SPEED AND SPLASHES HER IN THE CORNER!
Gavin Kirkland: Kassidy stumbles out of the corner and falls RIGHT INTO A SUPERKICK FROM XANDER AND KASS FALLS BACK INTO THE CORNER! SHE IS SITTING AND SHE IS IN TROUBLE!
Deadprez: Xander takes a few steps back once again. XANDER IS RUNNING FULL SPEED ONCE AGAIN AND THIS TIME XANDER HITS THE CANNONBALL! “DAWNBREAKER” BY XANDER PAYNE AND HE GOT ALL OF IT!
Adam Lucas: That Cannonball move of his hurts like no other especially when your neck gets snapped back onto the turnbuckle. It almost stuns you that you can’t move at all.
Eve: That might be what Kassidy is feeling now as Xander pulls her out of the corner and back into the middle of the ring. Xander drops down and hooks the leg for the cover.

Deadprez: KASS KICKS OUT RIGHT BEFORE THREE! OH THAT WAS CLOSE! Once again, that is a testament to why they are some of the best in EAW.
Eve: Xander is not surprised that Kassidy kicks out because he knows what she is all about. But that also means that Xander gets to cause more pain to his opponent. Ryan is still at ringside rooting Xander on because he feels that Xander is a few moves away from winning this match.
Adam Lucas: If he thinks he really is going to win, then it will probably be more than just a few moves because Kassidy looks like she still has a lot left in her tank.
Gavin Kirkland: Xander once again picks Kassidy back up and whips her to the ropes. Kassidy with the rebound and Xander kicks Kass in the gut and doubles her over.
Deadprez: Kass still has her head down and this can NOT be good. Now Xander lifts her up! XANDER IS TRYING FOR HIS SPIKE PILEDRIVER! THAT COULD REALLY HURT KASSIDY’S NECK IF HE HITS IT–
Gavin Kirkland: BUT KASS IS BLOCKING IT! KASS IS SHIFTING HER WEIGHT ENOUGH TO BLOCK THE PILEDRIVER! Xander tries once again, BUT KASS DROPS TO HER KNEES!
Eve: Now Xander is clobbering Kassidy’s back and he changes position to lock her head and her leg! KASSIDY IS UP FOR A FISHERMAN’S BUSTER!
Gavin Kirkland: KASSIDY IS CLAWING THE EYES! KASS HAS GOT HER THUMB IN XANDER’S EYE AND XANDER FINALLY LETS HER LOOSE! SHE LANDS BEHIND XANDER AND COUNTERS WITH A NECKBREAKER!
Adam Lucas: Leave it to Kassidy to find a way to get free using any means necessary. Even if those means aren’t exactly the most legal of moves like sticking her thumb in Xander’s eye socket.
Deadprez: Be that as it may, Kass is back in control and she is ready for Xander to get back to his feet. He’s up AND KASS TAKES HIM RIGHT BACK DOWN WITH A CLOTHESLINE! Xander gets back up AND KASS TAKES HIM BACK DOWN WITH A LARIAT!
Eve: Xander gets back up and tries for a clothesline, BUT KASS DUCKS IT AND LOCKS HER ARMS AROUND XANDER’S WAIST AND DROPS HIM WITH A GERMAN SUPLEX! HOW IN THE WORLD DID SHE DO THAT?
Deadprez: Man or woman, Kassidy Heart is one of the strongest competitors in EAW today. Prime example is five seconds ago when she lifted someone almost twice her weight into a German Suplex.
Adam Lucas: Even Xander couldn’t believe it. Especially with that look on his face. Words can’t describe the talent they both have. Words can’t describe their attitudes either.
Eve: Xander is holding the back of his head as he gets back to his feet. But Kassidy is right there with a backhand to Xander’s jaw before whipping him into the corner.
Gavin Kirkland: Xander hits the corner AND KASSIDY CATCHES XANDER WITH THE RAPTURE! HELLUVA KICK TO THE JAW AND XANDER FALLS DOWN AND KASS ROLLS HIM OVER FOR THE COVER!

Deadprez: XANDER KICKS OUT! XANDER THREW THAT SHOULDER UP RIGHT AS THE REFEREE WAS COMING FOR THE THREE COUNT! Again I say, this has been an amazing and competitive match.
Adam Lucas: Neither one will concede defeat to the other. As long as they both have their way, this match will continue on until they virtually kill each other.
Eve: Kassidy brings Xander back to his feet and locks his head for a DDT, but Xander powers Kassidy back AND DRIVES HER BACK RIGHT INTO THE CORNER!
Deadprez: Kass staggered after that shot, BUT XANDER PULLS HER BACK IN BY THE WRIST AND LIFTS HER OF BEFORE PLANTING HER WITH THE “DAWNBREAKER”! SAITO SUPLEX BY XANDER AND KASS LANDED HARD ON THE BACK OF HER HEAD!
Eve: WHAT A DAWNBREAKER SUPLEX BY XANDER PAYNE AND KASS WAS DROPPED RIGHT ON THE BACK OF HER HEAD, BUT XANDER ISN’T FINISHED!
Gavin Kirkland: HE IS WAITING FOR KASS TO GET BACK TO HER FEET! She is still feeling the effects of the suplex, but she has stumbled her way back to her feet and turned right into a waiting Xander.
Deadprez: XANDER WENT FOR THE OVERDOSE PALM STRIKE, BUT KASSIDY DUCKS IT AND HITS THE ROPES! Kassidy comes back and ducks the Xander clothesline attempt and hits the ropes on the other side. Kass comes back and crouches down—
Gavin Kirkland: INTO THE GO TO GAWD! WHAT A SPEAR FROM KASSIDY HEART! SHE GOT ALL OF IT AND XANDER’S HEAD SNAPPED BACK ON IMPACT! XANDER IS NOT MOVING AND HE COULD BE OUT COLD RIGHT NOW!
Eve: Xander is down for the moment and Kassidy is electing to not go for the cover. Instead, she is rolling out of the ring AND COMING OVER TO THE COMMENTARY TABLE! There’s no doubt that she is going to be up to no good! She gets right in front of Adam and looks like she has something to say.
Kassidy Heart: (off-mic) Have you been watching, Adam? That’s how a real King takes care of business. At Reasonable Doubt, you’re going to see that I am the true King and you’re just going to be MY! LITTLE! [BLEEP]! Guess Dr. Bethany Blue is the real man in the relationship.
Gavin Kirkland: Whoa! Come on, Kass. That was uncalled for. You two can settle things next week. Now is not the time to pick a fight.
(When Kass mentioned Bethany, something snapped in Adam so he stands right up and gets right in Kass’ face with the commentary table separating them.)
Deadprez: Come on, Adam. Not right now. You can settle things next week. Come on, Adam, just sit back down and finish the commentary with us… OH BOY! Kass crossed a line there saying that about Bethany.
Adam Lucas: DON’T YOU EVER TALK ABOUT MY WIFE AGAIN! What? Do you have something to say now? DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING TO SAY NOW! There’s nothing between us but this table, air, and opportunity, so if you have anything else to say, SAY IT NOW!
(Kassidy walks away from Adam for a moment and walks over to where Gavin is sitting and reaches down to look for something.)

(‘Partition (Smearcase Trap Remix)’ starts playing again as Kassidy Heart rolls off of Xander as the crowd starts to boo as Kassidy makes it back to her feet. Adam has rolled outside the ring and he can’t believe what just happened.)
Gina Romano: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner! KASSIDY HEART!
Deadprez: That was certainly a great first time ever matchup between two highly skilled Hall of Fame competitors. It was just unfortunate to see how the last few minutes of the match unfolded.
Eve: Adam was looking for a little payback after Kass threw that disgusting cum sock at Adam, but he got the wrong target.
Gavin Kirkland: What do you mean disgusting?
Eve: The fact that you have one here right now is gross. Anyways, it was that moment of anger that told the tale of this match. Kass took advantage of the miscue and it was enough for Kass to hit the curb stomp and keep Xander’s shoulders down for the three count. He tried to kick out but it was too little, too late. Kassidy Heart leaves with the victory.
(The referee raises Kass’ arm in victory, before she quickly snatches her arm back and glares at the referee as Ryan helps Xander out of the ring and they head up the entrance ramp.)
Deadprez: Outside of the unfortunate incident, Kassidy and Xander and an amazing match that was fitting for this First Time Ever moniker. Xander fought as hard as possible to win this match, but it was an unfortunate case of bad luck that was his downfall. But tonight belongs to The Mauler. Congratulations to Kassidy Heart on the victory–
(Kassidy leaves the ring and starts to head up the entrance ramp, but she also catches Adam still standing outside the ring as he smacks the commentary table in frustration. She quickly changes course and heads right towards Adam, who is facing the commentary table.)
Deadprez: WHAT WAS THAT? KASSIDY HEART WITH A SHOT FROM BEHIND! SHE CLOCKED ADAM RIGHT IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD AND ADAM FALLS TO THE FLOOR ADAM DID NOT SEE THAT COMING!
Eve: KASSIDY TOSSES ADAM BACK TO THE MIDDLE OF THE RING AND SHE IS JUST THROWING THOSE LEFTS AND RIGHTS INTO HIS FACE AND ADAM IS DOING WHATEVER HE CAN DO FIGHT BACK!

Deadprez: Very cheap trick by the Mauler and Adam falls like a ton of bricks to his knees. Kass has a very evil grin on her face as she hits the ropes. Kassidy comes back–
Gavin Kirkland: THERE’S A PAINFULLY EVER AFTER FOR ADAM LUCAS! CURB STOMP TO THE BACK OF ADAM’S HEAD AND DRIVES HIS FACE AND HEAD INTO THE MAT AND ADAM IS OUT COLD!
Eve: Kassidy Heart no doubt made a statement here tonight that if the saying “Long reign the King” is going to be applied to a King in EAW, it’s going to be King Kass. But at Reasonable Doubt, Adam is going to be furious and be out for even more retribution. This is just the beginning for these two.
Deadprez: Things are only heating up between Kassidy and Adam. When the Clash of Kings match comes about at Reasonable Doubt, these two are not going to hold back. These two are going to beat the crap out of each other. We are out of time for tonight. For Saturday Night Showdown, I am Deadprez.
