Pierre: WELCOME! TO A VERY AWKWARD EPISODE OF SHOWDOWN AS SOME OF OUR TALENT WILL BE AT WICKED GAMES BUT THAT DOESN’T MEAN THE ACTION OF SHOWDOWN DOESN’T STOP!! I’M PIERRE JOINED BY DEADPREZ BRINGING YOU A NIGHT OF ROAD TO REDEMPTION IMPLICATIONS!
Deadprez: A big Pay Per View is on the horizon and it’s one of the staples of EAW History and tonight we have two qualifying matches for tonights Extreme Elimination Chamber! Let’s not waste any time and let’s get the action started right here
Fitpatrick: The following contest is scheduled for one fall…
Crowd: ONE FALL!!!
Fitzpatrick: And the winner will be entered into the Extreme Elimination Chamber at Road to Redemption!!!
Crowd: YAAAAAAYYYY!!!!!
(“God’s Gonna Cut You Down” by Johnny Cash hits as Cody Marshall makes his way to the ring)
Fitzpatrick: Introducing first, making his way to the ring from Dallas, Texas, weighing in at 305 pounds… COOOOODDDYYYYYY MMMAAARRRRSSHHAALLLL!!!!!!
(Camera pans to see Shane Gates already in the ring)
Fitzpatrick: And his opponent, already in the ring and from Huntington Beach, California, weighing in at 210 pounds… SSHHHHAAANNNNEEE GGGAAATTTEEEESSSSS!!!!
Pierre: The opportunity do a lifetime for Shane Gates! He could be two wins away from capturing the EAW Championship!
Deadprez: But he has to get past the big, angry, Texas bastard to do it.
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Pierre: The match opens and here comes Shane charging at Cody and instantly trying to chop the big man down by kicking at the knees! But it doesn’t look like it’s having much effect! He runs and hits the ropes and tries to comeback with a shotgun dropkick! IT CONNECTS!!!
Deadprez: But it just bumps Cody back into the ropes and he ends up standing right where he was! Shane can’t believe it! CODY GRABS BOTH HANDS AROUND SHANE’S NECK!!! RAPTURE!!!!
Pierre: CODY LIFTED SHANE FOR THE TWO HANDED CHOKESLAM BUT SHANE SWUNG HIS KNEES UP AND CAUGHT CODY OVER THE EYE! Cody is opened up by that sharp knee of Gates! And now Gates looks to build some offense! He hits the ropes again and here he comes— RIGHT INTO A BIG BOOT!!!
Deadprez: the big man does not look happy now as he checks the blood streaking down his face! And now he grabs Shane up by the skull! He puts both hands around Shane’s neck and lifts him into the air!
Cody (off mic): IM GONNA DO TO YOU WHAT I SHOULDA DONE TO THE DAMN DOG!!!
Pierre: DEAR LORD!!! RAPTURE WITH AUTHORITY! SHANES BODY JUST BOUNCED OFF THE CANVAS!!! Cody making the cover!

(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Fitzpatrick: Here is your winner by pinfall… CODY MARSHALL!!!!!
Pierre: Cody has punched his ticket to Road to Redemption! And now he moves on to the Extreme Elimination Chamber!
Deadprez: You gotta hope Shane is ok. He showed a lot of heart in those moments but Cody just overpowered him like nothing.

(Showdown opens back up to a backstage interview with Damon Diesel and Eve standing by)
Eve: Damon, you’ve requested this time to get some things off your chest, and I’m looking forward to your response from Shane Gates actions last week.
Damon: I’ve been frustrated. Getting drafted to Showdown, I thought it would be a fresh clean slate and I put my stock into a Syndicate. That really didn’t last long, but I realized that the problem I have is thinking I need someone’s help. I’m a professional wrestler, I’m one of the best in the world and I know I am. So I am not pissed at Shane, I am not even wishing any ill will on Shane. Thank you, thank you for reminding me that the only person’s back I should be watching is my own. And from here on out that’s what it’s all about, my interest, my goals, this is about me, nobody else. And I’m going to start wearing some gold really soon, and that’s why next week. I’m stepping inside that ring and I’m going to do what I do best, and that’s wrestle and I’m going to win. This is Damon Diesel I’m presenting, without any syndicate, just me, and I feel more confident getting further in my career by myself than with anyone by my side just to stab me in the back when it’s convenient for them. This is my time.
(Damon walks off)
(Camera pans to TLA in the locker room of General Manager Hurricane Hawk)
TLA: Yo, yo yo, I ain’t really mad at holding gold but let’s be honest, we know this leads to the big belt and that’s what I’m trying to get to, I ain’t trying to be holding this forever so line them up and watch me knock them all down.
Hawk: Easy, you eager to defend that belt is great. And I’m glad it’s in the hands of a Showdown roster member, but don’t worry. I can’t give you competition right here tonight with Wicked Games happening and we don’t know the landscape that EAW is in right now but next week for sure. I’ll have an opponent for you.
TLA: Like I said, line them up, watch me put them down. I’m at my high right now and I can only go higher you feel me?
Hawk: I gotchu, next week champ, for sure.
TLA: iight.
(TLA walks off as camera pans to Aaron Fitzpatrick who is awaiting the Showdown Main Event)

Fitzpatrick: Introducing first, making his way to the ring from Brooklyn, NY, weighing in at 210 pounds… CHHRRRRIIISSS EEELLLLIIIITTTEEE!!!
(“Revolution” by Pennywise hits as Drake King makes his entrance)
Fitzpatrick: And his opponent, making his way to the ring from Brooklyn, NY, weighing in at 220 pounds… DRRRAAAAKKKKEEEEE KIIINNNNGGGGG!!!
Pierre: This match could make or break a man’s career. Entering the Extreme Elimination Chamber can bring you World Championship gold, but it can also land you in the hospital.
Deadprez: That is the risk you take to be on top. And these two men would both kill for that shot.
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Pierre: Both men circle the center of the ring and move towards each other. Drake King raises a hand and looks for a test of strength! Chris looks up at him and raises a hand slowly! The two lock up one hand, and now the other! Drake immediately begins to get Chris Elite on his heels! Using that weight advantage! Now Drake looks to pick a leg but Elite blocks! Drake pushes Elite down further and twists Chris’s wrists backwards! Slowly bending backwards now and Drake has Elite down and… DRAKE HAS PUSHED ELITE ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE MAT! The referee goes to count the shoulders down!
ONE!! TWO!!
Elite gets the left shoulder up! Drake forces it back down!
ONE!! TW—
ELITE SHOOTS THE RIGHT SHOULDER UP! DRAKE FORCES IT DOWN AGAIN!
ONE!! TWO!! TH—
ELITE BRIDGES UP WITH HIS HEAD AND GETS HIS FULL BACK OFF THE GROUND! DRAKE KING POPS UP AND DRIVES BOTH KNEES INTO ELITE’S STOMACH… BUT ELITE MAINTAINS THE BRIDGE! Drake has seen enough and goes to pull Elite to his feet and still maintains hold on the hands! Elite back up to his feet now! And Drake maintains control by twisting through into a wrist lock! And he twists again to increase the pain! Winning this match could make Drake’s entire career! He maintains the hold and cranks on Elites hand!
Deadprez: But Elite now with the reverse somersault! AND FOLLOWS THE MOMENTUM INTO A STANDING BACKFLIP TO RELEASE THE TORQUE! Elite tries to pull Drake into a Lariat! But Drake ducks! Still holding onto that hand and has Elite from behind! Grabs looking for a German suplex! But Elite now with back elbows! These two have been connected since that original test of strength! And now Elite unwinds himself from the suplex position but Drake yanks back on the controlled hand… ROUNDHOUSE KICK!!!!
Pierre: ELITE DUCKS UNDER! Now Drake is caught with his arm between his legs and Elite has control! Now Elite takes the pumphandle! PUMPHANDLE DRIVER! Hold position and grabs the leg for a pin!
ONE! TWO! THRE—
King kicks out! Just barely and now King rolls away to get some space! The first time these two have been separated this entire match since that test of strength!
Deadprez: And Elite looks to take advantage of the moment! He’s lining up on Drake King! Drake is nearly up… BOX OFFICE SMASH!!!!
Pierre: DRAKE DUCKED THE SUPERKICK!!! Elite turns around… right into a kick to the gut! Drake lifts him up! KINGS WASTELAND!!
Deadprez: NO ELITE FLIPS THROUGH THE FALCON ARROW AND LANDS ON HIS FEET! Drake looks stunned! BOX OFFICE SMASH!!!!
Pierre: IT CONNECTS! WHAT A SEQUENCE AND THE SUPERKICK CONNECTS!!! ELITE MAKES THE COVER!!

(“Odee” hits as Chris Elite has his hand raised in victory as the crowd begins to cheer for him)
Pierre: Elite puns Drake King and has entered his name into the Extreme Elimination Chamber!!!!
Deadprez: I told you a few weeks ago. Elite is on his way back to the top of the mountain!
