(The recap for Road to Redemption begins with the PURE Championship Match with champion, Jake Smith and challenger, Harlow Reichert. We see a technical masterpiece between the two Elitists. Harlow’s two attempts to lock Jake in her submission move, Les Miserables, but Jake managing to escape it each time is shown. Jake’s determination to keep Harlow down is shown, but Harlow manages to lock in Les Miserables for a third time. Jake grasps onto the bottom rope, but he had already used his rope breaks. Jake is trying to scramble out of the move before he passes out. The emotional celebration between Harlow in the ring and the referee carrying Jake in the back is shown.)
(It goes to the Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match for the Unified Tag Team Championships. The Unified Tag Team Champions, Heavenly Hell take on The ILLIONAIRES. We witness The ILLIONAIRES working like a unified unit. We see some amazing spots from the champions and challenges before going forward to the last portion of the match with Heavenly Hell connecting with Fallen Angel. Soon after, Ahren tries to connect with Protect Ya Neck, but Constance Blevins throws Ahren towards Minerva, who connects with Paradise Lost. Constance goes up the ladder and retrieves the titles. The last shot is of Heavenly Hell celebrating on top of the ladders and The ILLIONAIRES look exhausted and furious.)
(It goes the the main event for the Showdown brand and Road to Redemption as a whole with the Extreme Elimination Chamber for the Answers World Championship. Highlights of the chamber match is shown. We see Mr. DEDEDE eliminating Mark Michaels in the most gruesome fashion…via Equalizer, Xander Payne being surprisingly eliminated in the middle of giving Chris Elite Last Sedation, only for DEDEDE to see the opening and spear Xander out of the match; Chris being eliminated via MK Driver, after an excellent performance. As the referee was helping Chris and Big Mike out of the match, Xander makes his presence known by reentering the chamber with a sledgehammer before dropping DEDEDE with the weapon. With Xander exiting the chamber, it leaves Jamie O’Hara with the sledgehammer in which he uses to drive against DEDEDE’s mouth before connecting with Stardust Breaker and eliminating him from the match.)
( It goes to the final two with Cameron Ella Ava and Jamie O’Hara as both of them are trading punches with each other. It fast forwards to Jamie getting Cameron’s taser and tasering her in the nape of her neck. He heads for the top of the pod before connecting with Genki Cannon and going for the cover, but Cameron kicks out. Jamie tries to go for the Galactic Buster, but Cameron manages to counter with Goddess’ Touch before going for the cover, but Jamie manages to kick out of that. The two clash for a bit longer before it forwards to Jamie connecting with a Galactic Buster, but still having Cameron by her arm, ready to connect with Stardust Breaker, but Cameron manages to connect with Goddess’ Touch before nailing Jamie with his own finisher and going for the cover. New champion is crowned as Cameron has a ton of emotion on her face. Before the official can hand Cameron the Answers World Championship, Jamie gets in the middle and snatches the title before looking down at the title, a ton of emotions racing through him. However, he straps the title on her waist as the two embrace. The recap ends with Cameron raising the Answers World Championship on top of the chamber as the crowd showers her with love and support.)

(“DNA” by Kendrick Lamar plays, cueing the intro music for Saturday Night Showdown. It pans to a sold out O2 Arena with the EAW Universe screaming out of their minds, feeling excited that this is the first Showdown of 2020 and most importantly, the decade.)

(The fans in the arena continue to get wild until “ULTRAnumb” by Blue Stahli blasts through the speakers as the crowd gives a standing ovation for the winner of the Answers World Championship Extreme Elimination Chamber. A moment passes before Cameron Ella Ava walks out in her ring gear, she is set to compete in the main event tonight. On her left shoulder, there rests the Answers World Championship as she seems to be taken aback by the reception in the O2 Arena.)
Eve: Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to the first Showdown of 2020! We are starting things off with our co-holder of the Female Elitist of the Decade and winner of our Extreme Elimination Chamber at Road to Redemption! We are opening the show with our NEW Answers World Champion, Cameron Ella Ava! Man, what an amazing night for this woman! It came down to Cameron and her husband, Jamie O’Hara and Cameron managed to take him down with his very own move to capture the Answers World Championship! :wow:
Gavin Kirkland: I always root for the titties, Eve and Deadprez! Nothing brought a smile to my face than to see one of the longest tenured women in this company get an opportunity to make history and look so damn good while doing so.
Deadprez: It was truly an emotional night for Cameron Ella Ava and truly a moment that she will always look back on. However, it’s straight to work for this woman as she will compete to represent Showdown in the King of Elite Tournament; however, she has a difficult first round of anyone in this tournament as Mr. DEDEDE will use his Gawd Contract and Chairman status not only to insert himself in this tournament, but get his rematch for the Answers World Championship in one match.
Gina Romano: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN…PLEASE WELCOME AT THIS TIME… THE NEW ELITE ANSWERS WRESTLING ANSWERS WORLD CHAMPION… “THE GODDESS”…CAMMMMMMMEEEEEERRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOONNNNNN EEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAVVVVVVVAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
Eve: Everything could fall apart for Cameron Ella Ava by the end of the show. Cameron may pride herself of being EAW’s version of Wonder Woman, but even Wonder Woman has her weakness and that may be Mr. DEDEDE.
(Cameron Ella Ava is seeing inside the ring as she steps up to the corner of the turnbuckle and raises the Answers World Championship high and proud. In perfect timing, the pyro goes off with red and gold pyros. Cameron holds the pose for a moment before stepping off the turnbuckle. She posses with the title for a bit longer, before getting a microphone from Gina Romano and standing in the middle of the ring. “ULTRAnumb” does down, but the positive reaction from the crowd has not.)
Crowd: YOU DESERVE IT! ?????? YOU DESERVE IT! ?????? YOU DESERVE IT! ??????
(Cameron Ella Ava listens to the praise that the fans are giving to her. The Goddess is moved by the reception that she has gotten. A smile forms on her face as the chant goes on for a few more moments, before Cameron decides to get a word in.)
Cameron Ella Ava: Thank you all so much.
(The crowd takes over in praise again, cutting Cameron Ella Ava off.)
Cameron Ella Ava: I still feel like I’m on cloud nine. Road to Redemption was such an emotional night for me. Just the entire week was an emotional roller coaster as I wanted to believe in my heart that Road to Redemption was going to be my night. I know, I was entering the chamber facing some amazing competition and I had to bring everything that I had in my arsenal and just pray that it was going to be enough. Road to Redemption was the symbol over a decade of blood, sweat and tears that I shed for this sport called wrestling. The lack of long term breaks, the refusal to take any time off and continue to work my craft for the next ten fucking years and being the constant stay in Elite Answers Wrestling as flavors of the month fizzled out and left the company. Even when things seemed tough from my end, I kept marching forward believing that I was going to get my moment in the spotlight. Like I said in my social media post after Road to Redemption, I began my career in 2010 as a glorified valet for losers like Hurricane Hawk and Dark Demon. It wasn’t shit that I wanted to do, but I knew that it was going to be my mission make sure that women are perceived as wrestlers and not arm candy. I’m glad to say that I began the 2020s as the Answers World Champion and one of the many women in the champion’s circle that is making this type of shit regular and not be looked down upon. None of the women who are holding titles— we may or may not get along with them — aren’t some agenda like #FutureIsWomen or #QueensOnly being shoved down everyone’s throats. It’s because we’re good. Despite our tactics, we hold the championships because we’re smart, resourceful and don’t take any shit at all. We earned or justified our reigns and no one is going to take that away from us.
Cameron Ella Ava: This isn’t women’s wrestling. This is wrestling in general and going into the decade, it should be labeled as that…wrestling. I went into the chamber match and I didn’t want competitors to look at me as a woman. I wanted them to look me as a threat. I didn’t want to be written out as a woman who couldn’t get the job done or a woman who just wants to see her husband shine and get all the glory. Over the past couple years, it could be argued that I found myself in the background of my husband and earlier this year, in the background of my sisters as well. It wasn’t until Road to Redemption week where it call came to me — my inability to be selfish was holding me back and it was hindering my growth in this company. I was so afraid to cross that line and grab that brass ring because I was afraid of hurting a couple of feelings or getting myself in arguments and I realized, that’s not what’s going to get me a World Championship. Jamie told me that I needed to be aggressive and ruthless and it can be debated on whether we got that at Road to Redemption, but I began to feel like the Cameron Ella Ava that I had distanced myself away from a few years ago. Now, I can’t make the promise that she’s here to stay, but I can make the promise that you will be getting the best that I have ever. This mentality didn’t change once my husband wrapped this Answers World Championship around my waist. This has always been the mentality for me. That’s not going to change anytime soon.
Cameron Ella Ava: I am proud to stand here in the O2 Arena in London, England —

Cameron Ella Ava: — And give you guys an Answers World Champion, who will never deny you guys the opportunity to witness a championship defense anywhere. Especially, on an edition of Showdown and that’s exactly what you’ll be getting for the main event. This isn’t any clickbait shit. This isn’t me just trying to keep you guys to watch the show until the main event, where I pull out of this match and not compete. No, I am going to defend this Answers World Championship tonight. I am going to fight to progress in the King of Elite Tournament — something that was robbed from me last year and I am going to be the representation for the Showdown brand. Not only will I be booked to defend this title at King of Elite, but I will fight for my chance to be the first ever Queen of Elite and continue to solidify myself as an all-time great. As we focus on tonight, I’m aware that there’s a lot of people who doubt on whether I can defeat Mr. DEDEDE and if I truly EARNED this championship, but I plan to shut up those critics and retain tonight —
(“It Follows” by Cane Hill blasts through the speakers, cutting Cameron Ella Ava. The crowd in the O2 Arena gives a negative reception to possibly the reason why Mr. DEDEDE is no longer the Answers World Champion, Xander Payne. Xander has serious look on his face, almost looking a bit disgusted at Cameron.)
Gavin Kirkland: Here’s a BIG reason (and I didn’t say “big” because he’s fat) why Mr. DEDEDE is no longer the Answers World Champion. It wasn’t for Xander Payne introducing that sledgehammer into the match and beating DEDEDE with it, Jamie O’Hara probably wouldn’t have put the final nail in DEDEDE’s championship reign and eliminated him from the match.
Eve: Xander Payne will participate in the King of Elite Tournament. But he has one of the toughest opponents in the first round with Jamie O’Hara. However, he’s been quite vocal when it comes to Cameron Ella Ava and being the reason why she is standing here as champion tonight.
Deadprez: Is this guy really that full of himself? He has been taking credit that he ended DEDEDE and his six month reign and at the same time, he is trying to minimize the accomplishment of this woman in the ring. I can’t believe it.
(By the time Deadprez is done talking, Xander Payne is seen in the ring as he gets a microphone from the timekeeper. He stands across the ring from Cameron Ella Ava, who adjust the Answers World Championship on her shoulder. “It Follows” dies down, but the negative reception of the crowd has not.)
Xander Payne: YOU’RE WELCOME, CAMMY!!
(Xander Payne extends his arms wide, soaking in the boos of the crowd. Cameron Ella Ava shakes her head, looking back at Xander confused.)
Cameron Ella Ava: Thank you for what, exactly?
Xander Payne: I was expecting a “THANK YOU, XANDER” coming from your cum filled mouth, to be honest, but I suppose, I’ll dumb things down for you and for all of these morons in London, England .
(The crowd boos, but Xander Payne doesn’t pay attention to them, before continuing).
Xander Payne: You should be thankful that I ALLOWED you to stand here tonight as the Answers World Champion. If it wasn’t for me not accepting my elimination, getting that sledgehammer and returning to the ring to dismantle what was left of DEDEDE, you wouldn’t be standing here as champion. Instead, you wouldn’t be standing here tonight. You would be looking to be a good little wife and looking for recipes to cook for your husband because that’s the only thing that you will ever be good at. You wouldn’t be anywhere near things ring because you would have been so embarrassed, that the thought of ever continuing your EAW career would be something that you couldn’t envision yourself of doing. You should be thankful that you don’t get to experience that scenario. You are nothing more than someone who got lucky with her championship win. Odds are, you wouldn’t have been in that final two if it wasn’t for me taking out DEDEDE. This is why I believe that you should be on your natural habitat and that’s on your knees as you kiss my feet, and accepting me as the sole reason that you have that championship on your shoulder, Cameron. Just like Jamie should have been fortunate that I brought that sledgehammer into the ring and left DEDEDE a broken mess, so he can eliminate him because that’s the only way that your husband can ever pin DEDEDE’s shoulders to the mat. Honestly, both of you owe me thank you, but I’ll be getting mine from your pathetic husband when I mangle and embarrass him later tonight. With you, well, l don’t see you still being champion by the end of the night.
Cameron Ella Ava: Why not? Don’t you think that I can retain tonight? I do.
Xander Payne: Honestly, I don’t care who is the Answers World Champion by the end of the night, because I’m getting my title shot at King of Elite. If you happen to be the woman standing as champion at the end of the night, I’ll take that is my thank you for helping you win at Road to Redemption. You said so yourself — you aren’t going to deny anyone of a championship match and you’ll defend that championship anywhere that’s desired and I want my championship match at King of Elite. Although, I am not going to be getting my hopes up in believing that you’re even going to make it past this first title defense. I mean, Mr. DEDEDE doesn’t look to be in a pleasant mood. At Christmas in Dubai, he acted like he never lost the championship in the first place. He acted like his normal self and that pissed me off. I don’t think I got his attention there, so I made my presence known at Dubai and costed him his match against Malcolm Jones. My beautiful face was the last vision of what people had of the 2010s and it’s going to be my face that ends these 2020s. Mark my words, ladies and gentlemen. Dubai was an example of the many occasions that I will stand tall over the men that dominated in the 2010s. Mr. DEDEDE is on the top of the list. Defeating your terrible husband will be another example of Xander Payne being above Elite Answers Wrestling and every single Elitist in this company. Especially you, Cameron. Like I said, I could careless who stands as champion by the end of the show because I’m going to be getting my championship match. I don’t care if it’s with you or Ryan, but there is something that everyone needs to be aware of. If you stand in my way, you will fall. You will crumble to pieces and that’s something that Ryan Adams will need to realize when we cross paths. Most importantly, that is going to happen the moment you face me in the ring, Cameron. You’ve fallen to me once and you will do so again.
(Xander Payne drops the microphone as “It Follows” plays through the speakers. Cameron Ella Ava and Xander have some words off mic. It’s unclear with the conversation was about, but it should be within the lines of what was said with those two. Xander exits the ring as Cameron looks at him with a serious look on her face, knowing that Xander is going to be on a whole other level facing her.)
Eve: Is that one of the first announcements of the night? It doesn’t matter who wins in the Cameron Ella Ava versus Mr. DEDEDE match for the Answers World Championship, but Xander Payne will be getting his title at King of Elite? Does that add onto the pressure of these two Elitists in the main event tonight?
Deadprez: If Cameron Ella Ava survives here, I have no fucking idea how she manages to focus on the King of Elite Tournament, win her bracket, get to the finals and look forward to defending her title all at the same time.
Gavin Kirkland: The same thing could be Xander Payne if he manages to knock off Jamie O’Hara in the King of Elite Tournament match tonight and then moves onto face Cameron Ella Ava or Mr. DEDEDE for the Answers World Champion.

(“Pure Water” by Skepta takes over as the crowd’s warm reception for Harper Lee turns to a chorus of boos as Dray Fontana steps out from behind the curtain with a displeased expression across his face. He wastes little time in making his way to the ring)

(The howling of a wolf silences the crowd before “I Love It Loud” by KISS hits to a warm reception for Shaker Jones. Shaker wills the crowd on, asking them to get louder as he walks down the ramp)

Deadprez: A year of many close calls, some results being the very definition of mere inches, Shaker Jones just couldn’t get across the line but his unrelenting attitude and persistence means that this match could be the beginning of some great, great things going forward on Showdown!
(“20 Mins” by Lil Uzi Vert plays over the arena as Rico Reeves slowly walks out nonchalantly, showing little emotion or response to the popular reception from the audience. Rico moves at a sloth like pace down the ramp and meets Shaker Jones at the base of the ramp, before both make their way into the ring)
Gina Romano: And his partner! From Portland, Oregon !!! Weighing in at one hundred and ninety five pounds!!!! HE IS “RETRO”!!! RIIICO…….RRRRREEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVEEEESSSSS!!!!!

(All four competitors ready themselves in their respective corners. Shaker and Harper elect themselves to begin the match as the official calls for the bell)

Deadprez: Tag team contest underway with the teams of Harper Lee and Dray Fontana taking on Shaker Jones and Rico Reeves! Harper and Shaker beginning things off immediately meeting in the center of the ring with Shaker looking to contest a test of strength but Harper doesn’t have much interest, dropping to a knee and floating behind Shaker with a waist lock! Harper trying to take Shaker down to the canvas but Shaker plants both feet into the canvas, refusing to buckle! Shaker fires away and connects with an elbow to the jaw of Harper Lee who staggers backwards for a brief moment but maintainers her arms wrapped around the waist. Shaker fires again, a wild elbow hoping to connect the point flush on the jaw but this time Harper sees it coming! She ducks her head and immediately connects with a German Suplex!
Eve: Harper Lee with the quick offense to start the match but Shaker Jones isn’t wasting any time! Shaker races back to his feet but Harper is already back to hers and meets him in the middle of the ring with a stiff forearm! GIVE ‘EM THE BOOT! No! The bicycle kick from Shaker Jones misses as Harper steps out of the way! DROPKICK! NO! MISSES! Harper misses with the dropkick as Shaker Jones likewise steps out of the way! Shaker charges towards Harper who’s just getting up off the canvas and rolls her up for a pin!
Ref: OOOONNNNEEEE!!!! TTTTTWWWWW–
Gavin Kirkland: Harper kicks out! Both competitors race to a vertical base but Harper with a slight advantage beats Shaker and immediately takes him back down to the canvas with a drop toe hold and follows it up with a double foot stomp to the back! Both feet connecting flush on the spine of Shaker Jones and Harper Lee is quick to roll him over for the pin!
Ref: OOOONNNNEEEE!!!! TTTTTWWWWW–
Deadprez: Shaker kicks out before the count of two. This time Harper backs away from Shaker and Shaker takes the opportunity to catch his breath as he gets back to his feet.
Eve: Fast action to start this match but it looks like both competitors are taking a moment to collect their breathes and start back at square one! But this time it’s Shaker immediately on the offense, looking to lock up in a collar and elbow tie up but with the weight and strength disadvantage Harper backs into the corner. Last minute though Harper manages to step out of the way and delivers a stiff kick to the back of Shaker’s leg. Shaker buckles momentarily but retaliates with a straight fist and immediately follows it up directly with a chop across the chest!
Deadprez: Shaker might have the upperhand for a moment! Shaker steps up onto the ropes, looking to deliver a swift Supa Dupa Kick! But Harper scouted it well and truly and she catches Shaker coming back down and blocks the kick– SNAP SUPLEX! RIGHT INTO THE CORNER! Shaker bounces off the pads and collapses in a heap on the ground. Trying to clear the cobwebs from his head before Harper maintains her offense! But she isn’t giving him much time at all! She drags him back to his feet and towards the center of the ring! SHE LEAPS INTO THE AIR! SUPERNOVA? SHAKER CATCHES HER MID AIR AND HOLDS HER UP! Shaker clutches the arm and drops Harper down but catches her on her descent in a deadlift. Shaker utilising as much of his strength as possible to keep Harper off the canvas and connects with the Pumphandle Suplex! Shaker slides straight into the cover!

Gavin Kirkland: Only a count of one as Harper Lee kicks out! Back and forth, back and forth in this contest so far. Neither Shaker or Harper able to get the upper hand for their team but Shaker might have just done enough! Dray Fontana willing his partner on, to make it to their corner and tag in as Shaker turns to his partner Rico Reeves who doesn’t show much interest at all! But it doesn’t stop Shaker from bringing Harper back up and over to his corner! Harper tries to fight out of it with a straight right fist to the ribs but Shaker grabs a fistful of her hair and keeps her trapped in his corner. Aaaaaannnnnddddddd….

Deadprez: Shaker tags in Rico Reeves but maintains his grip on Harper Lee! Rico slowly…slowly…very slowly climbing to the top rope! I don’t think Shaker is too pleased with the antics of his tag partner! Urging him to hurry up and delivering straight fists to the exposed ribs of Harper Lee to stop her from fighting out of the predicament. Finally Rico Reeves gets to the top rope and he drops the arm loosely across the top of Harper’s head but she barely feels the impact of it. A rather weak bit of offen–
Gavin Kirkland: IT HAD GREAT EFFECT DEADPREZ, I’VE NEVER SEEN A MORE DEVASTATING MANEUVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! I’M STUNNED – STUNNED! – THAT HARPER LEE IS STILL STANDING!
Deadprez: Yeah…right…
Eve: Rico’s lack of energy might have cost his team the momentum! Shaker Jones is absolutely livid as he leaves the ring under the referee’s orders and Harper Lee freely makes her way over to the opposite corner to tag in her partner!

Deadprez: Harper Lee tags in her partner Dray Fontana much to the…seemingly lackluster care of Rico Reeves. Dray steps into the ring but cautiously steps around the outside towards the ropes, unsure of how to come at the unenergetic Reeves. But Dray takes his chance and steps into the center of the ring, looking to lock up with a collar and elbow tie up but Rico simply ducks beneath the arms– ROUNDHOUSE KICK! Dray Fontana just connected flush on the jaw of Rico Reeves with that stunning Roundhouse Kick seemingly from out of nowhere! Rico stumbles down to the canvas for a brief moment but Dray is there to pick him back up and whips him across the ring!
Eve: Dray swings wildly for the lariat but Rico ducks beneath it! Rico bounces off the ropes and comes charging back towards Dray who again swings for the lariat but for the second time Rico ducks beneath it! Again Rico bounces off the ropes and comes right back at Dray but this time kicks up and wraps the legs to connect with the Tilt-A-Whirl Headscissors! Dray Fontana sent skidding across the ring but pops right back to his feet! But Rico is there once again to cut him off, this time spinning him around and mixing him up with a backslide into a pin!

Gavin Kirkland: DRAY KICKS OUT! Dray powers out after the count of two and quickly rolls out of the ring to catch his breath! But it seems as if that burst of counter offense might have just been all that Rico Reeves had to offer; he looks spent! For a good portion of the match, it seemed like Sierra was on her way to win the match, but Minerva had to use some of the mist that she’s well-known for using in her matches to accomplish the goal. You can still see some of the mist around her mouth as Minerva whips her mouth with her hand before looking back at mist on her hand as a smile crossed her face.)
???: Nice job out there.
(Minerva forms a smirk across the corner of her lips as Constance Blevins approaches her tag team partner. The two members of Heavenly Hell embrace each other before pulling away.)
Minerva: Had to pull all the stops to win, didn’t I?
Constance Blevins: Indeed you did. Sierra was a firecracker, but you showed to be more smarter and that’s something that will be useful and something that I am going to do in my match against Harper Lee next week.
Minerva: You got this in the bag, Constance. Honestly, nothing would make me happier than to see you go all the way and win that Iconic Cup. If I’m not able to get job done, it should be you.
Constance Blevins: Thank you and my sentiments are still the same. This Iconic Cup is something that I’ve been wanting to talk about with you. I have been trying to rack my head back-and-forth on how to get this across. You should know that Heavenly Hell means the world to me and you are someone who has helped me become the woman I am today. But…

Minerva: Is Constance Blevins getting a bit selfish? I can respect that from you, Constance. You are a woman who knows exactly what she wants. You have proven to be one of the most ruthless women I know. But…
Constance Blevins: …You want to win as well?
Minerva: I was in that Iconic Warfare last year. I thought that I could have made that immediate impact by winning, but I ended up with a slight concussion and several bruises at the end of the match. If it wasn’t for Kassidy Heart, I felt like I could have taken that Cup for myself. I could have become the Universal Women’s Champion. Heavenly Hell could have held as much gold as possible and dominated everyone else. If there was one thing that Iconic Warfare did for me, it made me more dangerous. It made me more determined to make an impression this year and I feel like I have grown from the inexperienced wrestler I was coming into the company. This tournament, reaching the finals and winning will get me what I want.
Constance Blevins: The Iconic Cup will bless me with the opportunity to control my fate, Minerva. I won’t hate to sit on my hands and wait for my next opportunity. With the Iconic Cup, I get the choose when to capitalize on the opportunity. If Raven is still champion and I decide to cash in on her, I feel like everyone comes full circle with my issues with her. If anyone else is holding the gold by then, then I won’t be afraid of cashing in on them. Minerva, you’re always in the conversation of whoever can be the next Universal Women’s Champion.There’s not much talk about how I am perceived in everyone’s eyes, but in this tournament, I plan to change all of that. Minerva: Constance, you shouldn’t care about how anyone perceives you. I could care less what conversations I am in. I’m aware that you and I aren’t the golden girls that this company fawns over. I’m aware that management doesn’t like us together because they are aware of what the two of us are capable of. Jenny Punk is aware of the power of Heavenly Hell possesses that she was able to be silent as Chris Elite abused the Gawd Contract. However, we managed to retain our titles and prove that we can conquer anything placed in front of us. Going into this tournament and seeing how the brackets are placed, it should be obvious what those in charge have in mind?

Minerva: Exactly. They want Heavenly Hell to fall apart in front of the world. They believe that the Iconic Cup will be enough to tear us apart. However, we can’t let the do that, Constance. Eve: Here we go! Shane looks like he doesn’t fear Lance and the size disadvantage against him. Lance walks up to him and they just stare at each other. And woah Shane kicks Lance in his knee and he’s hammering at the back of Lance! Shane is trying to do whatever it takes but Lance slams him back into the corner! Lance runs at Shane but Shane moves out of the way! Shane is throwing several kicks at Lance in the corner now! He’s not holding kicks back and now the referee steps in and gets Shane to back up a few feet to create some separation!
Gavin Kirkland: Shane walks to Lance but walks right into a boot from Lance! Lance now takes this chance to run into the ropes and comes charging full speed and runs right over Shane! Shane rolls to the outside of the ring and Angela is trying to get him to his feet! Lance rolls outside to the opposite side of the ring and he’s running full speed around the ring and about to run over Shane! Shane is being helped up by Angela…AND WOAH SHANE MOVES OUT OF HARM’S WAY AND LANCE STOPS IN HIS TRACKS BEFORE HE HITS ANGELA! ANGELA IS DARING LANCE TO HIT HER!!
Deadprez: Shane dropkicks Lance in his back and Angela moves and Lance lands on the steel steps! Shane runs over and slams Lance’s head on the steel steps repeatedly! Shane somehow manages to get Lance back in the ring and now Shane goes to the top from the outside. He don’t go up top much and now he waits for Lance to turn around! Gavin Kirkiand: Lance picks up Shane with ease and places him in a running powerslam position! Shane could be in serious trouble here but Shane slips out from behind and Lance turns round and eats a superkick!! Shane hits another superkick causing Lance to stumble backwards and he bounces off the ropes and Shane connects with a pele kick!! Shane ain’t going for the cover for some reason though as he tries to lift up what seems to be the dead weight of Lance and wraps his arm around the head of Lance and leaps up in the air looking for the tornado DDT….BUT LANCE IS HOLDING SHANE IN THE AIR!! SHANE IS PANICKING RIGHT NOW AND OH MY GOD LANCE THROWS SHANE EVEN HIGHER IN THE AIR AND HE BELLY FLOPS ON THE MAT!
Deadprez: Shane rolls to the apron before Lance can do anything else! Shane is screaming in pain holding his chest and Lance is checking his lip for blood as he walks over to the apron and grabs Shane by his hair looking to get him back in the ring but Shane grabs ahold of Lance’s head and Shane drops to the floor below causing Lance to bound off the top rope! Lance is holding his throat now and Shane is back in the ring quickly and he kicks Lance in the midsection and places him in between his legs….but he can’t get Lance up….Shane is likely trying to go for Aces High or Ripcord Manslaughter but he just can’t get that weight of Lance up! Lance now reverses with a back body drop! Shane is holding his back as he stands up in the opposite corner and Lance tries again to charge at Shane in the corner and it connects this time as Lance splashes Shane! Lance now grabs Shane by his ribs and his head and throws him all the way across the ring! Good God!
Eve: Lance can sense victory is near and now he runs at Shane again looking for a devastating clothesline but Shane ducks underneath and kits a dropkick to to Lance’s right knee! (The recorded scene fades into Kyra Phillips sat down in her interview chair. Kyra is wearing a tan colored turtleneck top with some high waisted blue jeans. Her smile is shining in the camera shot as she’s more than thrilled to be having a sit-down interview with this woman.)
Kyra Phillips: Road to Redemption was one of the monumental FPVs of the decade. We ended the show where a majority of the champions in EAW were held by women. This wave exists on Showdown as well with all the women are holding the titles here. Right now, I have with me a woman who managed to gain her first championship in EAW at that same event. Harlow, I’m glad that you can sit down with us.
(The camera goes to Harlow Reichert who sports a whole t-shirt paired with a leather jacket and blue jeans. On her shoulder, there rests the PURE Championship, which Harlow cannot take her eyes off. She is still in awe that she’s the champion and that her first championship win is more than a dream at the moment. It’s become reality and Harlow will do anything to make the most out of this reign.)
Harlow Reichert: I’m glad to be here, Kyra.
Kyra Phillips: First off, congratulations on winning the PURE Championship. You went out there and did something that you’ve been wanting to do this season alone and that’s become a champion. You had the toughest road than most of the women in EAW, but how are you processing everything?
Harlow Reichert: I always believed in myself. I always believed that I was going to get the job done; however, I’m human as well. I had my own doubts going into this championship match. Finding myself in championship matches, I will give it everything that I have to offer. I poured everything into that ringing had it not be enough before, but locking Jake Smith in Les Miserables and having him pass out and the official ringing the bell, I could not believe I managed to accomplish what I did. Jake was a great representative of the PURE Championship. There is no doubt that he wanted to retain at Road to Redemption, but he got too comfortable in his position on top of the pure wrestling division and that’s not something that he should be doing. It’s the same mistake that I find a bunch of these men making and they reigns being cut prematurely. Erebus Jennings and Jack Ripley two examples of men who thought that they were untouchable and wouldn’t be able be knocked down, but those two weren’t able to make it past two months with that PURE Championship. I have to admit: Jake did the most out of this championship reign and there’s no doubt that he’ll be champion again, but Road to Redemption was a sheer reminder that ANYONE at ANY TIME can take the title from him.
Kyra Phillips: That’s the con with the PURE Championship. Like you said: ANYONE can take that title at ANY TIME. However, what are you planning to do to make sure that you don’t fall underneath that same category?
Harlow Reichert: All I can do to make sure that I don’t have this reign ending prematurely is not get too comfortable with my spot in the pure wrestling division. This championship may symbolize that I am the best pure wrestler on this roster and company, but that doesn’t make me immune to having all of this be taken away from me. I’m aware. That there will come a day that someone takes this championship away from me. Like it’s been stated, anyone at any time can take this championship away from me. That doesn’t mean I am going to let them do that so easily, but I don’t plan to duck away from the challengers. I take them on head on and going into this reign, I want to be a fighting champion. I want to be the champion that defends this championship was much as possible. With the whole diabolical with Mr. DEDEDE, it pissed me off on how a champion like him, holding one of the most prestigious championships in this company, could deny anyone of a championship match. I haven’t forgotten about him denying me my Answers World Championship Match. Shoutout to Cameron Ella Ava for giving these fans an Answers World Champion that will defend her title whenever needed. I mean, starting off the New Year with a title defense? Mr. DEDEDE could never do that. Looking at Cameron and her title defense on Showdown, it’s inspired me to do the same thing, but I’m going to turn things up a notch.
Kyra Phillips: How are you going to do that?
Harlow Reichert: I’m going to defend that PURE Championship every week.
(Kyra Phillips looks at Harlow Reichert with a raised brow, but seems intrigued at the same time.)
Harlow Reichert: I know, it sounds insane. However, I’m not called “Miss Consistency and Resiliency” for nothing. I go to every match believe like it’s a championship match. I go out there and constantly put on an amazing performance after another one. I have proven this season alone that I am resilient and I bounce back through tough losses. Territorial Invasion was one of my toughest losses, but I redeemed myself at Reasonable Doubt and eventually, I redeemed myself at Road to Redemption. As champion, I want to elevate the PURE Championship to new heights. I want to give these people a PURE Champion that they can be proud of. A woman who doesn’t need to put herself through barbaric hardcore matches to get a reaction from the fans, but a woman who puts on a technical and pure masterpiece every single week. A woman who doesn’t duck from challengers and denies anyone a match. It sucked for Mr. DEDEDE to deny me my rightful Answers World Championship match, but I don’t plan to deny anyone the chance to try to take this PURE Championship off of me. Next week, I will stand in that ring and prepare face any man or woman with my title on the line. I take on all challenges. You can be from the lower card, legend or main eventer, but I will step into the ring and prove that I am the superior wrestler on the roster.

( Ryan Wilson and Santo Muerte go face to face, nose to nose, in the ring – with Wilson mouthing off right in his opponent’s face showing an almost crazed look in his eyes. )
Gavin Kirkland: Wilson mushes Muerte right in his face! Mushes him in his face again! And SHOVES him back this time!
Eve: Absolutely no fear in the eyes of Ryan Wilson this evening.
Deadprez: I had a long conversation with that young man over the mid-season break, following Christmas In Dubai, and while I spent a whole lot of time during that conversation just listening. This kid has a different fire underneath him, and I don’t think it has anything to do with a New Years Resolution, I think something about that match with Cage stirred something inside him.
Eve: Well Muerte isn’t gonna take that, Wilson goes for a right hand but Muerte ducks and delivers a stinging kick to the thigh, clutches him with one hand and fires away forearms with the right arm. Ducks a wild right by Wilson, SPIN KICK TO THE RIBS! Muerte takes Wilson over to the ropes for a rope-assisted armdrag! But Wilson holds his ground, Muerte lands on his feet and Wilson takes him by the nape of his neck over to the corner before slamming some right hands into the body and driving a knee straight into the ribs! Wilson presses Muerte’s head against the turnbuckle with all of his power, trying to crush his head like a melon, and the referee intervenes.
Ref: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!
Gavin Kirkland: Muerte rips apart Wilson’s grip with his own power! That is damn impressive! But Wilson catches him in the stomach again with a boot! Takes him to the center of the ring with a snapmare, rebounds off the ropes and A DECAPITATING WILD BOOT!!! SHOULDER ROLL EVASION BY MUERTE AT THE LAST SECOND! Muerte springboards off the ropes! Wilson comes after him! Muerte backflips over Wilson and springboards off of the ropes behind him, into a SPRINGBOARD CROSSBODY!!! The two recover at the same time, ROPE ASSISTED ARMDRAG BY MUERTE sends Wilson crashing onto the back of his head! And Ryan Wilson scrambling up again, and Santo Muerte sends him out of the ring with a running dropkick!
( Ryan Wilson goes tumbling through the ropes and lands at ringside on his feet. He smashes his hands against the hood of the announce desk, then tosses a stagehand off of their chair. He closes the folding chair and climbs up to the apron. )
Gavin Kirkland: What does he think he’s doing?!
( Brujah and Sylvain rush up to the apron to urge him not to cost the match for himself. Wilson argues with the both of them, declaring his desire to take Santo Muerte’s head off. )
Eve: LOOK OUT! MUERTE WITH A RUNNING FOREARM ATTACK!
Deadprez: But WIlson drops to the floor from the apron right on time, and drags Santo Muerte out of the ring by his ankles. The two engage in a straight up fist fight from there! Hammering each other, but Wilson sinks his shoulders to drive Muerte SPINE FIRST into the LED ring post! That sends The Saint of Death dropping to the floor on all fours. Wilson stands over him hammering elbow shots across his neck. The official is urging Wilson to bring the match back into the ring, as are Wilson’s mentors. Muerte is leaned against the ‘cade, and WILSON FOLLOWS UP WITH A TORNADO LARIAT! BLASTING MUERTE ACROSS THE CHEST AND SENDING HIM INTO THE FRONT ROW!
( Ryan Wilson slides into the ring opportunistically, and he demands that the official begins counting. )
Eve: Looks like WIlson isn’t interested in settling this in the ring.
Gavin Kirkland: In his defense the King of Elite tournament isn’t decided on style points, it’s based on whether you win or whether you lose, and if you truly want to become King you’re going to do whatever you can to advance! Five years from now nobody’s going to care how you moved forward, they’re only interested in results, PERIODT!

Eve: Santo Muerte kicks out! Ryan Wilson immediately stands up and darts a displeased look at the referee. The official simply stating it was “2”, and before Wilson and make much ado about nothing his trainers call for his attention and demand that Wilson sticks to the game plan.
Deadprez: And I totally agree, if your energy is going into arguing with the ref then it isn’t going into winning the match. I told Wilson similarly over the break, distractions are going to deter you from whatever you want to accomplish in this business, he needs to stay focused!
Eve: Wilson stands over Muerte and just begins dragging him by one of the hooks on his mask, taking him around the canvas a little bit – but Muerte fires off with a lifting boot to the temple despite being on his back! Wilson backs away, watches Muerte attempt to recover, but Wilson delivers almost a spear right into the back to bring Muerte down to his knees! Wilson snatches the ankle looking for an STF!!! Muerte twists to his back however and counters with a body-scissors into a single leg hook, while sitting on Wilson’s chest!
Ref: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONE!!! TWO-
Gavin Kirkland: Counter with a full nelson roll-through from Wilson, bringing both men back up to their feet! AND RYAN WILSON PLANTS HIM WITH AN OVER-THE-KNEE FULL NELSON BACKBREAKER!!! WILSON KEEPS A HOLD OF HIM! SLINGS HIM UP! INVERTED HEADLOCK BACKBREAKER! And Wilson falls back over him hooking both legs with all his being!

Eve: Kick out by Muerte at a late “two”! Two debilitating backbreakers in a row will severely impair the mobility of anyone, let alone somebody who relies on their agility by way of the lucha style. Ryan Wilson may not be pleased that he isn’t ending the match in ten seconds, and he may not be handling his frustration the right way, but he is doing an excellent job with the kind of offense he is choosing to employ. Wilson follows up the right way this time, applying a grounded abdominal stretch, putting strain on the spine and on his breathing, and forcing Muerte to either strain his back some more or allow Wilson to wear him down. Wilson even has a well placed knee into the small of the back and is really trying to wring his opponent down.
Deadprez: Look at the guy gnashing his teeth, almost with an animal-like snarl; that boy is coming into the new year hungry.
( Santo Muerte slams his palm into the canvas, attempting to summon up the willpower to push forward. )
Gavin Kirkland: Muerte on the other hand is not out of the woods yet, he is choosing to fight his way up from the floor and exhaust some of the reserves inside of him.
Eve: LOOK AT THAT! MUERTE WITH A BODY-SCISSORS CRUCIFIX BACKSLIDE COUNTER! Wilson rolls out of that, rushes at Muerte! Muerte with a lateral body trip! Wilson faceplants into the canvas! The two scramble back up at the same time! NORTHERN LARIAT ATTEMPT BY WILSON!!! DUCKED BY MUERTE! HE JUMPS ONTO WILSON’S SHOULDERS FROM BEHIND! SPIKE FRANKENSTEINER SENDING WILSON FORWARD AND CRASHING RIGHT ON THE TOP OF HIS HEAD!!! He drags Wilson out from the corner by his ankles, Wilson is clinging to the ropes desperately, and Muerte stomps him right in his midsection with a flurry!!! Muerte keeps both legs tucked under the arms, adjusts his positioning so that his back is turned to the corner, and sends Wilson UP AND OVER INTO THE CORNER WITH A SLINGSHOT!!! WILSON AVOIDS HITTING THE CORNER FACE FIRST HOWEVER, HE LANDS ON THE MIDDLE ROPE, TWIRLS AROUND TO FACE AN UNSUSPECTING MUERTE, AND DELIVERS THE TORNADO DDT OF DEATH OFF THE MIDDLE ROPE! Deadprez: Close but no cigar. I really don’t know how that last elbow didn’t send Santo Muerte’s head flying off of his shoulders – mask included. Ryan Wilson is just sitting there with his mouth agape, and the official is reminding Wilson again “that was two” before he gets the chance to get truculent over the very close near fall.
Gavin Kirkland: BUT THAT WON’T STOP HIM, AFTER A MOMENT OF SITTING THERE IN STUNNED SILENCE, WILSON BOLTS UP AND GRABS THE REFEREE BY HIS COLLAR!
( Ryan Wilson has the referee backed into a corner, and is outright insulting him. )
Referee: LET GO OF ME! I WILL DISQUALIFY YOU! DO YOU HEAR ME? I WILL THROW THIS MATCH OUT RIGHT NOW!
Deadprez: Come on, man.
Eve: Wilson is clearly in the middle of an internal battle, but his better judgment manages to prevail and he turns back to Santo Muerte who still appears to be incapacitated – luckily for WIlson. Ryan Wilson drags Muerte around the ring until he’s got him up to the ropes, and is sticking his head and torso out to the other side of the ropes while his lower body remains planted in the ring. Wilson YANKS BACK ON SANTO MUERTE’S HEAD AS HARD AS HE CAN! It’s like he legitimately wants to rip Muerte’s head right off! The referee is counting again, which INFURIATES Wilson! He’s so angry he doesn’t even get the chance to make good of the count of “five”! Wilson goes nose to nose with the official asking him what his problem with him is, he’s taking everything the referee does personally!
Deadprez: And I get it, to him this IS personal, this is about starting things off on the right track, but I don’t like how he’s been going about it – AND IT MIGHT COST HIM! ROLL UP FROM BEHIND BY MUERTE!

Deadprez: A brutal ending, never ever allow Santo Muerte to catch you while you are vulnerable. He will sink his teeth into your neck like a rabid Rottweiler and will not let go until you are without a pulse. Wilson, man…
Eve: You sound disappointed in him.
Deadprez: He was phenomenal in this match. I don’t have any vested personal interest at the end of the day, I want to see the kid do well, but his mistakes cost him everything and you could see it coming from a mile away. That match was his for the taking.
Gavin Kirkland: Say what you want about Wilson but you still have to give all the credit in the world to Santo Muerte for sacking up and sticking it out when the going got tough. You need toughness and resilience to make it in a tournament like this, especially by the time the Finals roll around!
Eve: I concur Gavin, regardless of what mistakes were made it’s undeniable Santo Muerte showed the kind of fortitude that we need from our Showdown representative heading into the King of Elite finals.
( Ryan Wilson is on the ground recovering with his eyes glazed over, and Santo Muerte is now on the ramp holding both fists up in celebration. )

Eve: He likes to stick to the ground game, he is deceivingly strong, agile and quick. The Ringmaster, his opponent tonight is a big and bulky individual, Liam is going to need to keep him on the ground to be successful.
Gavin Kirkland: This dud looks like a certified badass, he looks like he could break the Ringmaster in half, the kind of guy a father dreads when his daughter brings him home for dinner.”
(Liam rolls into the ring, doing a few warmup after climbing the second rope and raising his arms in the air. He drops down, pacing the ring waiting for his opponent and the music dies down.)
Gina Romano: His opponent! Hails from Salisbury, Maryland! Weighing in at 312 pounds…. THE RING MASTER!
(The theme is replaced by “Three Ain’t Enough” by Jim Johnston. The Ringmaster comes out and poses, he smirks and starts to make his way to the ring, interacting with a few fans but keeping his eye on Liam O’Sullivan.)
Deadprez: The Ringmaster is always impressive; this cat can fight and is strong to boot. He will be tested here tonight but his strength could prove the difference.
Eve: You are right, Prez. Ringmaster has held his own here on Showdown, climbing the ranks and has the newcomer set in his sights. I don’t know what to expect but this is going to be a hard hitting encounter.
Gavin Kirkland: We have a huge World championship match tonight and a King of Elite Tournament spot in round 2. Huge night tonight and these two are on stage, they want to impress, let’s see who comes out on top.
(As the Ringmaster steps in the ring, he looks at Liam then addresses the crowd as they cheer. He stands there for a moment before being checked by the referee, same with Liam. He signals for the bell to begin the match…)
(DING!!!! DING!!!! DING!!!!)
Deaprez: Liam and Ringmaster circle the ring, they quickly lock up, but Liam goes behind the bigger man, he takes him down with a sweep of the leg, locking in a leg brace but Ringmaster is quickly hurrying to the ropes. This is what Sullivan needs to do, keep the Ringmaster grounded, question is, how long can he keep this up? Ringmaster is back on his feet, they lock up again, this time Liam turns behind him, her is trying to lock a sleeper but Ringmaster pushes him into the ropes, he bounces back, hitting the rock known as Ringmaster and tumbling to the mats!
Eve: It was like hitting a wall. Sullivan knows that he can’t out muscle this man, all he can hope for is too stay away from that power. He slowly gets up, they go to lock up again but Liam with some shoot kicks, one after another on Ringmaster, he has him on his heels, he tries for a choke, but Ringmaster hoists him up on his shoulders into a Samoan Drop! Liam is hurt, rolling out of the ring but Ringmaster catches him and rolls him back in!
Gavin Kirkland: Ringmaster picks him up and throws him into the turnbuckle, h e charges in and NO! No one home! He hit hard on the post! He turns into Lima and BOSTON KNEE PARTY! ABRUTAL KNEE TO THE CHIN OF RINGMASTER AND HE IS DOWN! SULLIVAN FOR THE COVER!

Deadprez: RINGMASTER KICKS OUT WITH AUTHORITY! I DON’T THINK LIAM CAN BELIEVE IT! He quickly picks him up again, some devastating forearms to the chest and neck of Ringmaster! He pushes him toward the ropes, the referee asks for a break, but he KNEES RINGMASTER AGAIN! HOISTING HIM UP FOR A SLAM! HE DID THAT!? TELL ME HE DIDN’T DO THAT!
Eve: THE STRENGTH OF LIAM IS IMPRESSIVE! HE IS CLIMBING THE SECOND ROPE AND DROPS A STOMP! FORCING HIS FOREARM IN THE FACE OF RINGMASTER, HE GOES FOR ANOTHER COVER!

Deadprez: LIAM GETS A SHOULDER UP! The crowd is starting to clap, watch out the Ringmaster has taken off the straps, playa! Ringmaster waits until Liam gets on his feet, he drops a few rights, some lefts, he is shaking and bacon downing him with a huge clothesline!
Eve: Ringmaster can’t waste any time here, he has to keep at it with O’Sullivan, take him off his game it is the only way he can take a man this skilled in submission wrestling down. The Ringmaster grabs Liam, NO! HE HOOKS AN ARGENTINIAN ARMBAR! RINGMASTER COULD BE IN A LOT OF TROUBLE HERE!
Gavin Kirkland: He literally has him upside down! Liam is NOT LETTING GO! Ringmaster is screaming in pain, we may get a tap out right here, he should have been more aggressive and finished him when he had the chance!
Deadprez: WAIT! LOOK AT RINGMASTER! HE IS TRYING TO PULL HIM UP WITH ONE ARM!
Eve: No way….
Gavin Kirkland: WOW!
(The crowd roars at the sight of the Ringmaster lifting an upside down Liam, locked in on his arm up.)
Deadprez: HE HAS HIM UP AND SLAMMING LIAM TO THE MAT! RINGMASTER IS HURT BUT HE HAS A NEW FRESH SET OF LIFE! LIAM GETS UP AND RINGMASTER THROWS HIM DOWN WITH THE E-TRAIN! LIAM IS SPLATTERED ALL OVER THE MAT! WHAT IS RINGMASTER DOING!
Eve: He is picking him up for the Big Ending! NO! LIAM SNUCK OUT FROM BEHIND! PUSHING RINGMASTER INTO THE TURNBUCKLE! HE IS RUNNING FOR ANOTHER BOSTON KNEE PARTY!

(The Ringmaster climbs gingerly on the second rope and raises his good arm up in the air.)
Deadprez: Big win over an impressive athlete, the Ringmaster is making waves her on Showdown and we look forward to seeing more, his power was too much.
Gavin Kirkland: Even I was impressed, and I don’t like big sweaty men.
Eve: The Ringmaster showed tonight that he is a master in the ring and enjoy the win, take nothing from Liam O’Sullivan, hopefully we will be seeing more of him.
(The Ringmaster continues to celebrate in the ring …..)
(The camera fades into Showdown General Manager Jenny Punk pacing around backstage. By the look on the woman’s face, you can tell that she’s trying to keep her frustration in, trying to find the best words to respond to the two men in front of her. Disappointment would be an understatement to the two men that she had placed her seal of approval on, but she was pretty pissed that Road to Redemption wasn’t their night, but an embarrassment to her, who had endorsed these two men and promised to lead them to greatness.)
???: Omg, Chris. I’m so scared right now. :lupe:
???: I ain’t afraid of no bitch.
(The camera focuses on The ILLIONAIRES — Ahren Fournier and Chris Elite looking back at their pacing General Manager. Ahren looks like he is bracing for whatever backlash he will be getting from Jenny Punk. He clutches his beloved Jennipurr close to him. Jenny can yell at him, but not Jennipurr. Meanwhile, Chris sits back on the couch next to Ahren with his arms crossed, feeling as calm as ever, despite the losses. Sure, the losses suck, but it’s just another setback with him.)
Jenny Punk: Call me a bitch again and I won’t be afraid to smack the shit outta you.
Chris Elite: Take it easy, Jenny. :whoa:
Jenny Punk: How can I take it easy knowing that Road to Redemption was a MASSIVE failure for The ILLIONAIRES? How am I supposed to take it easy knowing that you lost BOTH of your matches, Chris? With the Unified Tag Team Championships, I thought by you making it a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match, it would be shifting the favor from Heavenly Hell to you and Ahren. I said nothing as those two embarrassed you week after week because I believed that the two of you would be pulling the stuff to make a miracle. Instead, Heavenly Hell made the two of you THEIR bitch as opposed to you two making them your bitch. I mean, they already saw you as jokes. Road to Redemption justified all of that. I mean, piss poor effort that week.

Chris Elite: Ahren did the best he could regarding the circumstances. There’s no need to talk down on him. I am responsible for the loss in the TLC match as well. Why not pick a bone with me?
Jenny Punk: Oh, no need to worry. I was getting to you. First off, you should NEVER be double booked for anything again. It’s barely difficult to keep your focus on one match let alone two matches. Second of all, I think taking part in more than one match threw you off, Chris. You’re not normally like this. You are someone who is asking to be in matches. We placed you in two and it fell flat for you. Don’t get me wrong — it’s difficult to be in a TLC match and then be placed in an Extreme Elimination Chamber and you did the best you could with these two matches. I believe the focus should have been on Heavenly Hell and Heavenly Hell only.
Chris Elite: Look, I’m not trying to sweat and panic because I’ll get Ahren and I another Unified Tag Team Championship Match at King of Elite. Remember, I still got this:

Jenny Punk: Look, I tried to be reasonable with the Gawd Contracts on his show. With DEDEDE trying to Gawd Contract his way to King of Elite and a rematch and you using this same route for Road to Redemption, this is still MY show and I am your boss. I can still out rule anything that you decide to book. I decided not to do anything when you reintroduced it, but I am not letting you pull the same shit and embarrass me and my endorsement of you once again. You two need to get it through your thick skills that you can’t rely on your names alone to bring you success. Sure, it creates a bit of influence, but the efforts and hard work displayed on Showdown is what I am going to recognized. Like I say to anyone, we EARN things on Showdown. There is no such thing as being handed opportunities. In the spirit of Showdown, I will give you two the opportunity to earn your title shot against Heavenly Hell. At King of Elite, you two will be facing a team of MY choice. The winning team gets a contract for a guaranteed title shot.
Ahren Fournier: Ewww…we have to earn things? I liked it better when Chris used that contract to give us the title shots. Sigh, if we have to defeat whatever team you place in front of us, that’s something that we’ll have to do.
Chris Elite: Alright Jenny, we’ll play your game. Throw any team in front of us and we’ll knock them down.
Jenny Punk: That’s the spirit.
(Jenny Punk hands back Chris Elite his Gawd Contract.)
Jenny Punk: Don’t go too crazy with this contract because I’ll be there to overrule it. I’ll let the two of you know the team you will face at King of Elite. For now, you two can escort yourselves out of my office.
(With that, Jenny Punk makes her way back to her desk as The ILLIONAIRES escort themselves out of her office. The scene fades to commercial break.)

Eve: The bell hasn’t even rang yet, and the referee is pleading with Xander to get into the ring! Xander responds by shoving the official back and he grabs Jamie by the hair! He whips Jamie into the ringpost and look at the nasty smile on Xander’s face! We KNEW he would be feeling himself after what went down at Road to Redemption AND in Dubai!

Gavin Kirkland: Jamie just deadlifted about 800 pounds and now he is driving his knee into Xander’s face over and over again! Xander is unable to defend himself and Jamie seems to have really woken up after that attack from behind! He grabs Xander by the hair and rolls him into the ring and the referee finally gets a chance to call for the bell!

Eve: Interestingly enough, this match is finally underway and Jamie pulls Xander up and Irish whips him into the corner! Jamie charges forward and drives his knee right into the jaw of Xander Payne! Jamie hooks Xander and brings him up and crashing down with a beautiful bridging dragon suplex! The referee is down and goes for a cover!

Gavin Kirkland: Jamie stays on Xander and wraps him a front facelock. He wants to try and keep him grounded, but Xander is shockingly agile for a fat ass, and he is able to twist his body and slip out of Jamie’s hold! Xander is a little groggy, but catches Jamie in the back of the head with a kick, and buys himself a few seconds.
Eve: A few seconds is literally it because Jamie is already back up. Xander swings wildly, looking to connect with a clothesline, but Jamie ducks and catches Xander in the back of the skull with a superkick! Xander falls into the ropes and Jamie wraps him up from behind… GERMAN SUPLEX! XANDER’S HEAD SLAMS INTO THE MAT AND JAMIE QUICKLY HEADS TO THE CORNER! HE CLIMBS THE ROPES AND GETS HIMSELF SET FOR ‘GENKI CANNON’, WHICH IS HIS VERSION OF THE DIVING DOUBLE FOOT STOMP, BUT XANDER WISELY ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY!
Deadprez: Jamie quickly grabs Xander by the shorts to keep him from rolling out of the ring, but Xander locks his arms around the bottom rope! The referee shouts at Xander to let up, and Jamie can’t believe it! He stomps away at Xander’s arms, trying to break son’s grip on the ropes, and that leaves the referee no other choice but to start the count!

Gavin Kirkland: Jamie backs up and immediately runs the ropes! The uses the momentum to propel him forward and he nails Xander with a basement style dropkick that sends Xander crashing to the ground! This crowd is solidly behind Jamie and they are cheering as Jamie backs up…
Jamie O’Hara (Off Mic): GET UP YOU FUCKING FLOG!!!
Eve: Xander finally staggers back to his feet and LOOK! HERE COMES JAMIE! TOPE CON HILO! IT CONNECTS WITH XANDER AND JAMIE IS BACK TO HIS FEET! HE GRABS XANDER AND THROWS HIM HEADFIRST INTO THE RING STEPS! PAYBACK FOR EARLIER!
Deadprez: Jamie’s not done! He pulls the steps apart, lifts the top step up and slams it down across Xander’s back! Gavin Kirkland: Xander’s pig face just got smashed into the ground and that shit is funny as hell. The referee is up to a count of seven, and that prompts Jamie to grab Xander and throw him back inside the ring. Jamie immediately crawls over to Xander and hooks the leg!

Eve: That was such a great match! Xander Payne threw everything he had at Jamie, but Jamie was able to withstand the flurry of offense from Xander and come out victorious.
Deadprez: I’ll tell you guys this. Jamie is by far my front runner for this tournament. He is determined to get himself back into the world championship picture and a Jamie O’Hara who is competing with a purpose is so, so dangerous.
(Jamie continues to celebrate his victory as the referee helps Xander up to his feet on the outside of the ring. Xander shoves the referee away from him and glares at Jamie. Jamie grins, much to Xander’s annoyance, and the scene at ringside fades to black.)

(Showdown returns from commercial break as it shows Kathy Kush backstage with a smile on her face. Kathy is wearing a black sweater top with some dark blue jeans. Next to Kathy, she has a guest with her, but it’s unclear who she is with at the moment.)
Kathy Kush: It’s been such an excellent Showdown so far! With the King of Elite Tournament, we are moments away from finding out if it’s Cameron Ella Ava or Mr. DEDEDE that advances to the next round of the tournament. For this time, we are going to step away from King of Elite talk as I am here with my next guest. He walked away empty handed at Road to Redemption as he lost the PURE Championship to Harlow Reichert. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome at this time, Jake Smith!
(The crowd gives a mixed reaction as former PURE Champion, Jake Smith stands next to Kathy Kush. He has an expressionless look on his face. Obviously, he’s disappointed in himself from losing the PURE Championship so soon, but there’s a part of him that tries to be optimistic as possible. That’s the only thing that Jake can do at the moment and that’s try not to let this loss get the best out of him.)
Kathy Kush: Jake, at Road to Redemption, you lost the PURE Championship. How are you holding up from that loss?
Jake Smith: To say that I saw this loss coming, would be a lie. I never saw me losing at Road to Redemption. I saw myself going into the New Year as the PURE Champion, but that’s not what happened at all and I’m disappointed with myself. I’m disappointed that this championship reign lasted sixty-two days. I’m disappointed that I didn’t do enough for my standard, let alone as PURE Champion. I know, I should have went into this match with EVERYTHING, but was there a part of me that underestimated Harlow? There was a couple things I said in that confessional shown at Road to Redemption that I hope pushed Harlow to prove that she wasn’t a choke artist. That’s what I wanted to be as a champion. I wanted to push my opponents to be the best. I wanted to defeat them when they offered their best, so they had no excuses to fall back on. In the end, that ended up biting me in the ass. I was the one that asked for my championship to be defended at Road to Redemption. I asked for ANY competitor to step up and try to defeat me. I wanted my championship to be defended at Road to Redemption. During my reign, I didn’t want to back down from the competition, I didn’t want to be another one of those “cowardly champions.” I wanted to prove that I can be the champion that Showdown needs. Most importantly, I wanted to prove that I deserved to win the PURE Championship at Battle of Egypt.
Kathy Kush: There’s no one that denies the idea that you deserved that championship reign, but how does one adjust to an unexpected loss?
Jake Smith: I take every loss as a lesson to be learned and I learned my lesson at Road to Redemption and I think Harlow summed it up during her pre recorded interview — anyone can come in and be champion at any time, any place. One example was Harlow at Road to Redemption. Another one was me taking the title from the previous champion at Battle of Egypt. If you wanted to look back at last year, no one expected for Ms. Extreme to cut Erebus Jennings’ reign short. There are people that will want to look at those scenarios as the scary thing about the PURE Championship, but I see it as exciting. What’s more exciting than to have someone swoop in and take away the symbol of your hard work? It’s what Harlow did at Road to Redemption, but what’s stopping me from doing that the next time we meet in the ring?
Kathy Kush: Do you intend to get your rematch against Harlow Reichert?
Jake Smith: I’m not planning on doing that bullshit that Mark Michaels did for Reasonable Doubt. Jenny Punk has stated that she’s not too crazy about rematches. It’s Showdown and we earn things on Showdown. With the announcement of Harlow wanting to defend the PURE Championship every week, it would be so easy for me to answer it, but I don’t plan to do that. The next time I step into the ring against Harlow, it will be because I earned it. She won’t be able to use the excuse that I didn’t “earn” my title shot. It’s the same logic I used against her at Road to Redemption, but I am making sure that she can’t rely on that excuse. Put me in a number one contender’s match. Give me the opportunity to get my match against Harlow. Harlow managed to make me pass out to her submission move, but that was the only way she managed to defeat me. The loss has lit a fire underneath me. For someone who had lost a championship, they look at is an excuse to get lazy and to half ass their performance. It’s what we saw from Mark Michaels when he lost at Battle of Egypt. That’s not going to be me going into the rest of the season. I am not going to get lazy. I am going into every match with twice the fire and determination than the rest of the contenders on this brand. I will continue to go all out with any opportunity in front of me and show everyone that I may have lost, but I will not be defined of that loss. I’ll meant Harlow in the ring again, but she’ll be facing a different Jake Smith.

Eve: DEDEDE has suffered a rough couple of weeks here with Xander Payne attacking him with a sledgehammer that led to his elimination at Road to Redemption, and then he would go on to lose to Malcolm Jones in Dubai before once again being attacked by Payne.
Deadprez: Please. We talking about Gawd here. We not about to pretend it’s even remotely realistic that this keeps going for him.
Gavin Kirkland: And tonight he gets his hands on the top pair of titties Showdown has.
Eve: Wow. I did not miss you over the holidays, Gav.
(DEDEDE slides into the ring taking position in the corner as his music cuts. “ULTRAnumb” by Blue Stahli hits to an explosion of cheers as Cameron Ella Ava walks onto the stage with the Answers World Championship around her waist. She pauses at the top of the ramp, removing the belt from her waist and holding it high with both hands. Fireworks then shoot from the stage and light up the entire arena. Cameron then puts the title back over her shoulder and begins her walk to the ring.)
Gina Romano: And his opponent… making her way to the ring from Los Angeles, California… she is the reigning EAW Answers World Champion… CAAAAMMMEEERRROONNN EEEELLLLAAAAA AAAAVVVVVAAAA!!!!
Gavin Kirkland: But I did miss this sight! ?
Deadprez: The Goddess is here and she’s not one to back away from a fight! The first Showdown of her reign and she’s defending the title against maybe the greatest of all time and the former champion!
Eve: Cameron finally got herself a moment that she’s been waiting a long time for. She stood on top of the Extreme Elimination Chamber as Road to Redemption closed, as the Answers World Champion. But will that dream become a nightmare only one show back from the holidays?
(Cameron climbs up into the ring, pausing on the apron to hold the title up for the fans to see. She steps over to her corner and the referee walks over, taking the title from her. The ref holds the belt up for the hard camera before handing it out to the timekeeper and calling for the bell.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Deadprez: WHOA! DEDEDE IS OUT OF THE GATE LIKE LIGHTNING! He just bolted to Cameron and hurled her into the corner! DEDEDE wasting no time at all trying to pick Cameron apart and regain that title! Don’t forget that these two know each other extremely well! Tag team champions together through Pain for Pride eleven, battling against one another for what seemed like an unending string of contests through 2018, and always seeming to find their ways back into each other’s crosshairs. And now DEDEDE is firing away at Cameron with fists to the face! Shot after shot connecting to Cameron’s jaw! OH! AND DEDEDE GRABBING CAMERON BY THE THROAT! DRIVING HER BACKWARDS AGAINST THE TURNBUCKLES!

Eve: And DEDEDE lets go to Ava and backs away! He puts his hands up as the referee checks on Cameron! The ref making sure she’s okay! BUT DEDEDE RUSHES IN TO PRESS THE ASSAULT!
Deadprez: BUT CAM SLIDES HERSELF OUT BETWEEN THE TOP AND SECOND ROPE! DEDEDE COLLIDES WITH THE CORNER TURNBUCKLES AND CAMERON LEAPS UP WITH AN ENZIGURI! Any more momentum and that would’ve been the Goddess Touch! DEDEDE drops back to the canvas! No one hits an enziguri like Cameron Ella Ava! Cameron sees him hit the mat and knows she has a chance! Cameron grabbing that top rope— AND SPRINGBOARDING UP! FROG SPLASH!
Eve: BUT DEDEDE ROLLS OUT OF THE WAY! INSTINCT WOULDN’T LET HIM STAY THERE TOO LONG! Cameron crashes into the canvas and DEDEDE pressing himself up! Cameron clutching at her abdomen as she rolls over to her knees! Both of them lock eyes! Neither fully getting the better of the other in these opening stages! DEDEDE moves in to take control but Cameron pops to her feet! They meet in the middle and Cameron goes for a lock up! BUT DEDEDE WITH A KNEE TO THE STOMACH! And Cameron loses her grip! DEDEDE grabbing full hold of Cameron now! He wraps her up with a gut wrench position! Gut wrench suplex drives Cameron into the mat! DEDEDE scrambles on top and goes for the quick cover! He hooks the leg!

Gavin Kirkland: But Cameron kicks out! DEDEDE looks unbothered though! He knew that wasn’t going to do it! DEDEDE grabbing Cameron by the hair now and pulling her up! Looking to keep the pressure on! The Chairman now driving more knees into the sternum! WAIT! DEDEDE PULLING CAMERON INTO A DOUBLE UNDERHOOK! HE’S GONNA GO FOR THE MK DRIVER! IF HE HITS THAT THEN ITS GONNA BE OVER! HE LIFTS HER UP— BUT CAMERON MANAGES TO HOOK HER LEG ON DEDEDE’S!
Deadprez: She blocks it there! But DEDEDE pulling himself free and looking for it again! HE GETS HER UP— BUT CAMERON SLIPS HERSELF OUT OF THE UNDERHOOKS! SHE GRABS DEDEDE BY THE HEAD AND DRIVES HIM DOWN WITH A FALLAWAY X-FACTOR! DEDEDE’s head bounces off the canvas and he rolls away to avoid the pin fall! Cameron gives chase but DEDEDE slips under the bottom rope! He begins to pull himself to his feet as Cameron tries to grab a hold of him! But DEDEDE unleashing fists into Cameron’s ribs and she lets go! DEDEDE trying to climb back in through the ropes— BUT CAMERON WITH A SHOTGUN DROPKICK SENDS HIM CRASHING TO THE OUTSIDE!
Eve: The Chairman lands hard and Cameron looking to do whatever it takes to wear him down! Cameron pauses! The referee telling her to get DEDEDE back into the ring but she’s ignoring him, looking for something! DEDEDE grabs the ring apron! Pulling himself to his feet and— CAMERON ELLA AVA WITH A BASEBALL SLIDE TO THE FACE OF DEDEDE ON THE OUTSIDE! Cameron slips out of the ring and runs in with a kick right to the rib cage of the chairman! She’s not going to leave any room corner for here!! She has him by the back of the neck and begins to pull him up—
Gavin Kirkland: BUT DEDEDE DRIVING HER BACKWARDS INTO THE BARRICADE! HIS SHOULDER NEARLY BUSTED THE TITTIES!
Deadprez: Cameron collides with her spine perpendicular to the edge of the barricade wall! DEDEDE grabs her around the waist and throws her! A massive overhead belly to belly suplex! BUT CAMERON FLIPS OVER AND LANDS ON HER FEET! WHAT THE HELL! SHE SLIDES BACK INTO THE RING AND RUNS TO HIT THE ROPES! DEDEDE TURNS AROUND! AND CAMERON BLASTS HIM WITH A SUICIDE EUROPEAN UPPERCUT TO THE FACE! DEDEDE IS KNOCKED BACK AND THE REFEREE HAS HAD ENOUGH OF IT!

Eve: Cameron dropping down and placing her knees on DEDEDE’s chest, dropping bombs into his face! We always see the most aggressive sides of Cameron come out against DEDEDE! She’s trying to break his nose I think! She’s targeting the bridge of his now with hammer fists and just going and going and— DEDEDE JUST REACHED UP AND GRABBED CAMERON BY THE THROAT!

Deadprez: That’s Gawd! It’s gonna take a lot more than that to keep this monster down and Cameron should’ve known that! DEDEDE yanking her down and bouncing Cameron’s head off of the floor! Neither of these two have been able to get full advantage over the other but both have done their damage as well!

Gavin Kirkland: Cameron trying time shake the cobwebs clear but DEDEDE is already taking advantage! He takes Cameron by the head! Hoisting her up now! Powerbomb position! MY GOD! DEDEDE JUST POWERBOMBED CAMERON ONTO THE BARRICADE! HER SPINE MAY BE BROKEN!

Deadprez: DEDEDE now checking his face for blood briefly after all the offense to his nose and jaw. He grabs Cameron as she’s still reeling from the pain to her back! The chairman takes her and pulls her alongside him! AND HE CRASHES THE CHAMPION SQUARE INTO THE STEEL STEPS!

Eve: Cameron is hurting as DEDEDE is slowly taking control properly in this matchup! Looking to regain the title he lost at the end of 2019! The champion trying to create some space to recover but the last few moments are taking their effect! DEDEDE just stalking Cameron now! Knowing he has her on the defensive!

Deadprez: The chairman watching as Cameron begins to climb to her feet again! Cameron is stumbling and DEDEDE takes off! He runs the opposite way around the ring! Cameron finally up off her knees and has her legs under her! She looks back and doesn’t see DEDEDE! She turns— SPEAR!

Eve: NO! CAMERON DODGED OUT OF THE WAY AND THROWS HERSELF BACK INTO THE RING UNDER THE BOTTOM ROPE! BUT DEDEDE CAUGHT HIMSELF AND GRABBED THE STEEL POST TO TURN HIMSELF AND USE THE MOMENTUM TO SLIDE BACK INTO THE RING! CAMERON BACK TO HER FEET BUT DEDEDE IS ALREADY CHARGING! SPEAR! SPEAR! SPEAR! HE HITS IT THIS TIME AND NEARLY TEARS THE CHAMPION IN HALF! DEDEDE DROPS OVER HER WITH A LATERAL PRESS! DEDEDE GOING TO RECLAIM THE TITLE!

He grabs ahold of Cameron’s head and now turning her over! He drives a knee into her spine and pulls her backwards! Bending her at just an ungodly angle—
Gavin Kirkland: Or is it a Gawdly angle?
Deadprez: Shut the fuck up. DEDEDE trying to do more damage or Cameron’s spine and the champion is screaming in pain! Cameron went toe to toe for as long as she could but DEDEDE ultimately gained control here! He loosens the hold and— OH! SNAPPED CAMERON BACKWARDS INTO THE HOLD HARD! Cameron falls motionless to the mat and DEDEDE tying up her legs now! He grabs her by the head and begins to bend her again! Tying her up— THE MK LOCK! THE MK LOCK IS APPLIED! THE VERTICAL MUTA LOCK CRANKING THE NECK OF THE CHAMPION!
Eve: Cameron has to find a way out of this! All that damage to her spine is building up and it’s going to be the death of her here! DEDEDE trying to break the Answers World Champion here tonight! Cameron reaching out but this hold doesn’t leave much room for someone to move let alone get to the ropes! Cameron’s legs are tied underneath her and DEDEDE pulling on that hold and making sure it’s as tight as possible!! Cameron beginning to fade! She can’t go out like this! Not in her first defense! She just won the belt! Cameron desperately looking for something but she just can’t hold on much longer in this hold! The referee down to check! Cameron’s eyes are rolling back in her head! Deadprez: The referee grabbing her hand and lifting it! IT DROPS! He grabs it again… AND IT DROPS AGAIN! If Cameron’s hand drops one more time we have a new champion! The referee lifts her hand! He lets go—
Eve: BUT CAMERON BACK TO LIFE AT THE LAST POSSIBLE INSTANT! SHE DRIVES ELBOWS BACKWARDS INTO DEDEDE’S RIBS! DEDEDE TRYING TO HOLD ONTO THE SUBMISSION! BUT THOSE SHARP ELBOWS FROM CAMERON TAKING THEIR EFFECT! CAMERON CREATING JUST ENOUGH SPACE TO FREE HER LEGS NOW! SHE PULLS HERSELF UP AS DEDEDE TRIED TO KEEP THE HOLD ON HER HEAD! BUT CAMERON DROPPING HIM TO THE MAT WITH A NECKBREAKER!
Deadprez: DEDEDE trying time get to his feet now quickly as Cameron hitting the ropes! DEDEDE turns— GODDESS TOUCH! CAMERON HIT HIM WITH HER BEST SHOT!
Eve: But Cameron not able to get the cover! She’s on the mat now clutching at her back! DEDEDE looks out cold from the running enziguri! But the champion unable to capitalize! Cameron trying to gain some stability for herself! She rolls over and finally lays a single arm across DEDEDE’s chest!

Gavin Kirkland: Oh but nowhere close to ending things as DEDEDE was able to recover! The champion knows she may have just missed her best opportunity! Cameron trying to pull DEDEDE up to hit something but her back not letting her use her full strength! She drops down to a knee and lets go of the chairman! But DEDEDE now getting up to his knees as Cameron clutches at her spine again! The damage has been done and DEDEDE smells the blood in the water! He grabs ahold of Cameron and yanks her to her feet! He places his arm on her shoulder and pulls her in! Looking to end it here! THE GRAND SLAM!
Eve: BUT CAMERON GRABS AHOLD OF DEDEDE’S HEAD AND COUNTERS INTO A DDT! THE CHAIRMAN’S HEAD DRIVEN INTO THE MAT YET AGAIN! CAMERON DROPS OVER HIM FOR A COVER! SHE COULD PULL THIS OFF!

She reaches down and grabs DEDEDE by the hand and pulls him up, straining through her spine as she goes! She feeds his arm though and has him in ripcord position! Looking for the move that made her the champion! The Stardust Breaker! Can she hit it? Cameron yanks DEDEDE through! She leaps for the knee! STARDUST BREAKER
Eve: BUT DEDEDE CATCHES HER OUT OF THE AIR! HE GRABS CAMERON AND POPS HER UP! POWERBOMB! HE DRIVES CAMERON HARD INTO THE CANVAS AND DEDEDE LOOKING TO CAPITALIZE! DEDEDE PULLING HIMSELF UP TO THE TOP ROPE NOW! CAMERON WRITHING ON THE MAT! THE CHAIRMAN TAKES HIS POSITION AND EYES HER! HE COULD BE LOOKING FOR THE SHOOTING STAR PRESS!
Deadprez: But Cameron wisely rolling to the other side of the ring! Getting out of the danger zone before anything can happen! DEDEDE drops down to his feet on the mat and looks annoyed but that survival instinct of Ava is on display! Cameron trying to grab the ropes to get to her feet but DEDEDE has already gotten to her! He pulls Cameron up to her feet and looking to grab her in the double underhook again! Going for that MK Driver to end it all!
Gavin Kirkland: BUT CAMERON DRIVING DEDEDE BACKWARDS! THEY COLLIDE WITH THE REFEREE AND THE OFFICIAL IS KNOCKED DOWN! DEDEDE TURNS OUT OF CAM’S GRIP AND THROWS HER SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE STEEL POST BETWEEN THE TURNBUCKLES!
Eve: DEDEDE sees the official down and sees Cameron falling out of the turnbuckles grabbing her shoulder! The chairman slides out of the ring! He walks over to the timekeeper and grabs the Answers World Championship! He holds it up and has a twisted grin on his face!
Mr. DEDEDE (off-mic): THIS IS MINE! IT WILL ALWAYS BE MINE!
Deadprez: DEDEDE sliding back into the ring now with the title belt in hand! Cameron Ella Ava is only just now getting to her knees! She presses up to her feet and DEDEDE charges! HE BLASTS HER WITH THE TITLE BELT!
Eve: NO! CAMERON DODGED! DEDEDE COLLIDES WITH THE ROPES AND TURNS AROUND! IN EXCELSIS! THE BICYCLE KNEE RIGHT TO THE JAW! AND THE CHAIRMAN DROPS TO THE MAT! CAMERON DRAGGING THE REFEREE OVER NOW! SHAKING HIM AWAKE! THE CHAMPION MAKES THE COVER! LOOKING TO RETAIN!

Clutching at that spine as she does so! Still in obvious pain but refusing to give up the fight! Cameron grabbing the chairman! AND LOOKING FOR THE AVA LOCK! THE ALL TOO FAMILIAR SUBMISSION TO SO MANY EAW FANS! CAMERON LOOKING TO PUT DEDEDE AWAY WITH IT! SHE GRABS DEDEDE’S HEAD—

And DEDEDE checking his face once again but still no blood! How he hasn’t been cut open by this point is beyond me! DEDEDE is lined up! Shakes himself loose and crouches down! Deadprez: Cameron Ella Ava came out and showed exactly why she is the champion now! She had the will to survive! And when that ultimate opportunity presented itself, she capitalized! It took a big shot, but she has put Gawdzilla away!
Gavin Kirkland: Heartfelt moments bring a tear to my eye…

Eve: Damn! And DEDEDE already took all that damage to the head during this matchup! Xander looks just disgustingly happy with himself now! WAIT! He’s grabbing DEDEDE again! Pulling him out to the apron! Oh no! Pulls him into position again! PAYNKILLER! Right onto the hardest part of the ring! DEDEDE just falls into a heap off the apron and to the floor! We may need medical out here!
Deadprez: But Xander is still not done! He’s looking under the ring and— IS THAT A FUCKING CINDERBLOCK?!?
Eve: IT IS! XANDER SETTING IT BEHIND HIM! AND GRABBING DEDEDE ONCE MORE! XANDER HOISTS HIM UP! AND SITTING BACK INTO THE PAYNEKILLER! DRIVING DEDEDE’S SKULL THROUGH THAT CINDERBLOCK THAT CRACKS AND SPLITS!
Gavin Kirkland: What has gotten into Xander?
Deadprez: Whatever it is… I don’t think this is the end of it…
